Great location

Great location in Alfama district. Close to some great bars and restaurants and Se Cathedral. Comfortable lounge and beds, well equipped kitchen. Bathroom could be cleaner and the shower leaked, hot water intermittent. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location

We so enjoyed our stay at this VRBO - it was central to all we wanted to see, the ambiance, the restaurants, chapels and castles. Very clean and roomy, with the air coming in off the river. Of note: there was a SPECTACULAR little restaurant at 45 rua de São joão da praça...we ate there more than once it was so charming and honest - highly recommend!!

Great Location

Very nice apartment, kitchen upgraded. If you want to be in the Alfama the location could not be better. Walking distance to everything. There were some issues on check in, but the response from the property managers was excellent. You will be charged a small per person lodging tax when you check in, so good to have cash. They also wanted a weekend check in fee, which was waived when we objected that is was not in the listing.

Lovely stay

This was a lovely apartment: sunny, quiet, spacious and comfortable. Since it is located on a street where there are numerous Fado clubs, there were loud drunken patrons after the shows, but this was only problematic once, and other nights the street noise quickly subdued. Altogether, it was a wonderful place to stay, a minute’s distance from the Cathedral, and close enough to the river to be able to see the cruises navigating swiftly, through the apartment windows in the morning! It was immaculately clean upon my arrival, and stayed that way after the agency sent a cleaning team to tidy up as courtesy, for my stay lasted over a week. I will miss the space and the views and would love to go back next year!

Perfect location , clean , spacious

If you want the real feel of old Lisbon stay here. Charming character down every cobble stone road. Nice touches to apartment was a well equipped kitchen with American coffee maker and they had cooking oil and coffee there already. Comfy bed and couches. One thing missing was lack of towels. No wash clothes for bathroom and only one small towel for bathroom. Another thing to beware of is there is no Air Conditioning. This is typical for the area though. Overall nice place .

We felt very much at home in this comfortable and charming -and very bright appartment. Everything was thought of. Especially we were indpressed by the service and kindness from TravelingToLisbon, who also arranged our airport transfer. It was hot, though, and we would have loved to open the windows in the bedroom at night, but be aware that you are surrounded by Fado clubs that attract lots of people below the windows. There are several fans in the appartment. We warmly recommend this appartment and TravelingToLisbon and will definitely come back.

Excellent location, eautiful apartment

My wife and stayed in this apartment in November 2018. It is a beautiful, sunny unit with a few of the harbor in a remodeled older building. The location in Alfama is near to both the harbor and the cathedral. There are small shops and grocers nearby. There is an excellent breakfast cafe down the street. Go left out the door, it is two blocks up the street on the left. Alfama is the home of fado. There are a number of local venues including on across the street and another on the lowest level of the building. we also found an excellent venue for food and fado at Deuetos da Se which is 3 blocks west of the apartment. It is a great location close to the harbor, the train station, the 28 tram, and most of the tourist sites.

it was a very pleasant stay in this flat. a full equiped kitchen, cosy couches and modern and high quality facility. only in the bathroom is maintenance necessary. the door of the shower doesn't close. in the beginning we had no wifi connection, but the company fixed it. high recommended.

Great space

This was a nice apartment. The wine offered was a nice gesture. The apartment is nice and clean. It is located in Alfama which is great because we were in the center of everything. We could walk to all the places we wanted to visit. Only had a little trouble coordinating the time to check in, but nothing major.

Great place for a homebase while you travel in and around Lisbon. Clean, well furnished and ideally located. Hard to find when you first get there as it is in a restricted historical zone. Cheap parking was pretty easy to find nearby. Easy communications when arriving but had a hard time getting replies back when small issues cropped up.
