Nice location, helpful host

This location was close to central Tavira, shops, dining, walking distance, access to all Tavira has to offer. Joao was a great host, very attentive and helpful. The property was clean and well appointed. We hope to stay again soon!

A hidden gem

This property is in walking distance of the centre of town. It is easy to find, when entering Tavira and has car parking a short distance away. The apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. It has a lovely private patio area at the back. An extra bonus is the garden cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My husband & I stayed the last week in April. João & Leonor were the perfect hosts. The apartment was lovely. Spacious & clean. In an ideal location for town centre supermarkets & train station. A visit to Vila Real San Antonio 30 minutes by train is a real must.Had a lovely holiday would definitely stay again.

Happy days in Tavira

The apartment was everything we could have hoped for - very spacious, in a great location, with parking just outside. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed large and comfortable , and it was lovely to have breakfast outside on the terrace. The internet was fast. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Tavira Terrific

We stayed in Joāo's place for 4 weeks and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Joāo is a superb host. He was very responsive and genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. This apartment was well suited for our first scouting trip to Tavira. Our host was great .

The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had all the amenities needed for our 2 week stay. We were able to live a "local" life while exploring Tavira on foot. Parking was convenient. Quick access to the 125 and N22 made it easy to explore the region. Our host was wonderful. The small restaurant next door gave us a feel for the local lifestyle. The couple who run it are charming. This apartment met all our requirements and nearby rooster crowing during the day added to the neighborhood charm.

Comfortable place to stay.

This is a comfortable apartment. It had plenty of space so it did not feel cramped. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the enclosed patio in the back. We were able to walk to the grocery store, the train station and the center of old town Tavira in about five minutes. The apartment is on the ground floor on one of the main streets entering Tavira so there is some noise from passing cars, but it was not enough to interfere with our sleep. We enjoyed our stay in this apartment and will stay here again next time we are in Tavira.

Host went the extra mile

The host went above and beyond for me. I left something behind and the host graciously mailed it international back to me at no cost. Wow! Location was excellent for us. A short walk to the waterfront and a grocery store was close by. The restaurant next door was excellent and we ate there several times. Apartment was exactly as pictured. Host also left some wonderful pastries for the first night. I would stay here again.

Very good apartment close to the centre of Tavira

Lovely spacious apartment, very well equipped with largely everything that you might need. Perfect for a couple, and 10 minutes walk from the centre of Tavira, which is a delightful town. No problems with parking near the apartment. We arrived quite late and collected the keys from a key safe outside the building, and were delighted to find that two little cakes had been left for us as a welcome. João and Leonor were always ready to help with information and answers to our questions. Recommended.

Fantastic find in Tavira.

Our hosts Joao and Leonor are definitely superhosts. This was our first time in Portugal and they went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Any questions we had, they were quick to respond. The accommondation was in a perfect location, within 10 minute walking distance to the town center, the bus terminal, the train station and numerous grocery stores. Free parking at a lot just up the street. The apartment and the kitchen are very well equipped with all essentials. Outside, there is a lovely enclosed courtyard with a dining table. Next door is Jorge e Lia Restaurant with a charming hidden garden for outdoor dining. When we next visit Tavira, we will stay here. Highly recommend it.

Short break in Tavira

The property is excellent and much bigger than a typical 1bedroom.It is very well equipped with everything you could want.There is a large outside area to sit and have breakfast or relax.A large kitchen with cooker and fridge freezer.The host is very helpful and the flat was immaculate on arrival.It is a short walk to the Town centre about 5-10 mins.There are several supermarkets near by.There is a snack bar in the building and a Tapas bar about 100 yards down the road.The pictures don't do justice to the size space and facilities.It was also an excellent price.Would recommend.You also don't need a car as the Train and Bus stations are within 5 mins walk.The beaches and small local villages are also very pretty and well organised.

Großes, gut eingerichtetes Appartment mit netten Vermietern

Großes Appartment mit kompletter Ausstattung (u.a. Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler), wir haben nichts vermisst. Sehr sauber, mit kleinem Wintergarten und Innenhof. Die Lage ist okay, ca. 10 min zur Altstadt (Römische Brücke). Nebenan ist ein kleines aber feines Restaurant, wenn man mal keine Lust hat, zu laufen oder zu kochen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir wissen schon, wo wir hinwollen, wenn Tavira wieder lockt.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung war für unseren Aufenthalt( 2 Personen) optimal. Man kann von dort aus das Zentrum und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Tavira gut zu Fuss erreichen. Die Ausstattung entspricht ganz der Beschreibung. Leider kann man keine deutschen Fernsehsender empfangen, was im Urlaub ja auch Mal ganz gut ist. Leonor und ihr Sohn Joao sind sehr nette, sympathische und hilfsbereite Gastgeber und waren bei Fragen oder Problemen immer für uns da. Es war sehr schön, die Beiden kennenlernen zu dürfen. prettige locatie in Tavira

super , wij waren 5 weken op deze plek , fijn appartement ground floor. jammer dat we weinig van de pation gebruik hebben kunnen maken want de maand januari is niet warm maar je kon het binnen goed verwarmen met 2 heaters . Joao is een superhost. Elke week schone lakens en handdoeken en om de 2 weken goed schoongemaakt. Top

Wat mooi om te horen dat u vijf aangename weken bij ons heeft doorgebracht, en dat het appartement u goed bevallen is — ondanks het wat frisse januariweer. Fijn dat de verwarming goed werkte en dat u zich binnen comfortabel voelde. Large T1 with more amenities than expected. Easy on and off highway and always parking in the lot up the street. Only 10 minutes to Old Town, French bakery and 2 excellent restaurants (Artefact and Come na Gaveta). Host provided excellent advice on activities in town. It was a little cold in early February and took a while to warm up the place with heaters in the living room and bedroom but retained heat after a few days. Would recommend!
