Unfortunately, I think this trend is now becoming very popular with people who rent holiday homes. As you have done and admitted on this occasion, you have searched for a holiday home owner with multiple properties listed on the Vrbo website, then you have booked the holiday home which has the lowest price, as in this case a Studio apartment. On arrival at the property, you contact the owner with fictitious complaints, in order to be upgraded to a much more expensive property. In this case, demanding to be moved to a two bedroom penthouse apartment, which costs, three times the price of what you have paid for. If the holiday home owner is unable to meet your demands, as in this case, they will be left with a bad review. You also thought that it would be a good idea not to pay for the Wi-Fi that you had ordered, in effect this is stealing, you could also add this to your portfolio. Thank you.

I hope that the people who read your review can see past your comments and read the other genuine reviews from clients who have stayed at our apartment, many of whom return year after year. Unfortunately, some people think it’s a good bit of sport to be nasty on the internet. It’s almost like everyone wants to be AA Gill and they think that being unpleasant gets them read. As owners, we take great pride in providing an attractive holiday home and client satisfaction is key to how we operate, which can be evidenced by our many glowing reviews from genuine guests. When you arrived outside the apartment, before you even entered the property, you told me that you only wanted to stay for two or three nights even though you had booked for our minimum rental rate of one week. On reflection you clearly set out to cause trouble in order to receive a refund for the nights you did not wish to stay, as you later admitted this is something you do often. Please in the future could you have a little respect for property owners who ask for a minimum of a weeks rental before you agree terms and conditions. This way there would be no need to write a false review when the owner is unable to meet your demands.
