Dear Jason, Many thanks for the review. We are so sorry that the downstairs A/C broke down while you were there. It is one of those things with any home, be it a villa that is being rented for a holiday or our own homes that something can break down and need replacing. It is just incredibly disappointing and frustrating when it happens during a guests’ holiday both for the guests of course and for us as owners as not something that anyone wants to happen. We did contact an A/C company as soon as there was an issue and they came out but it wasn’t a quick fix unfortunately and we had to buy a new A/C unit that was installed as soon as they could. It didn’t help with the breakdown coinciding with 4th July public holiday which also caused a bit of a delay with the company being able to fix it. Sadly these things do take time with companies coming out to assess the situation then getting hold of a new unit and coming to fit it and for your holiday as you say, for 70% of the time you didn’t have the A/C working downstairs. We do thank you very much for your patience and understanding in the matter and for having booked with us in the first place. With very best wishes from Nichola and Richard
