Good with the bad

We enjoyed it! We had to complain about sewer line dripping on the stairs and down the side of the house. The draining of sinks and bathtubs was extremely slow, and the a/c needs updated. Other than that, the view was beautiful and perfect spot to watch the fireworks! I have a fractured foot and going up and down was not fun, but beyond thankful that the house isn't 3 or 4 flights up. House was comfortable, homey feel, and liked the layout of it. I would book again for sure hands down! Just a couple hours of maintenance and perfect!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was quite nice. We were very impressed by the quality of the furniture. Better than what is typically found in a beach house. We were disappointed that linens were only provided and that beds were not made up upon arrival. Similarly, towels were supplied in a bag wrapped in what appeared to be plastic wrap. Inconvenient at best. The house also was without toilet paper. I expect a rental to be fully stocked and liveable upon arrival. This one really wasn't.

Gulfside Villa - Needs Cosmetic Work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Arrived mid afternoon & the A/C was struggling to keep temp at 75 but as night approached it finally got down to 72. Once cooled everything was fine with the A/C. The interior was clean but there was a drywall seam peeling on the ceiling of the living room. Some of the bedrooms had drywall tape seams that were also starting to peel in corners and where wall meets ceiling. The bonded leather on a chair and love seat was peeling off so no one wanted to sit in them. There was another couch and two recliners to sit so it wasn't really an issue. The exterior is in bad need of a coat of paint. The location was perfect and despite the cosmetic issues the place was very clean and we would stay there again.
