Im Jahr 2008 verwüstete Hurrikan Ike die Unterteilung Caplen Shore. Pelican Bluff ist die erste Heimat, die zurückkehrt. Dieses Strandhaus hat einen spektakulären Blick auf den Golf vom Wohnzimmer, Hauptschlafzimmer und Gästezimmer! Die Schlafräume umfassen ein Hauptschlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett, ein Gästezimmer mit Queensize-Bett und einen Schlafraum mit 1 Doppelbett und 1 Einzelbett. Für Ihre Bequemlichkeit sind alle Betten mit kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Bettwäsche vorgefertigt! Betten für 7 Personen sowie ein Queensize-Schlafsofa und zwei Rollbetten bieten Platz für bis zu 10 Personen. Alle Schlafzimmer verfügen über einen TV und einen eingebauten DVD-Player. Das Haus ist auch ein geteilter Grundriss mit Schlafzimmern auf jeder Seite des Hauses. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit einem großen Fernseher, WIFI und Pandora ausgestattet. Aber das Beste ist der Blick auf den Strand! Beobachten Sie den Sonnenaufgang oder Sonnenuntergang, beobachten Sie die Schiffe, die auf dem Golf fahren, und Delfine, die im Wasser tummeln. Ein kurzer Spaziergang bringt Sie zu einem abgelegenen Bereich des Strandes mit sehr wenig Verkehr. Ein zwei Meter breiter Golfwagenweg macht es einfach und schnell, zum Strand zu gelangen. Der Grill, eingebaute Picknicktische und die Außendusche im Erdgeschoss machen die Unterhaltung bei jedem Wetter einfach und angenehm. Viele Parkplätze für Gäste, Boote und Anhänger. Große gepflegte Wiese für Hufeisen und Volleyball. In Vogelbeobachtung? Da es so viel freies Land gibt und die Halbinsel Bolivar für ihre Vogelmigration bekannt ist, können die Gäste auf dem Deck sitzen und viele verschiedene Vogelarten beobachten, darunter den Roseate Spoonbill. My Second Stay

I have stayed at both of Margene’s properties and highly recommend both. They are clean, well equipped and comfortable.Margene goes over and above what you would expect in terms of communication both before your arrival and info provided about community resources. Pelican Bluff is in a very quiet area. You can’t go wrong!! We plan to return!!

Quiet and private beach house

This house was on Bolivar Pennisula on a quieter end which was perfect for our visit. Great beach access and view. The house was clean and well laid out with split bedrooms. Small grocery store nearby and a couple of great restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

Decadent deck with private beach access

This property is fantastic! It is a cute lil’ 2/2, but that isn’t the draw… the draw is the direct, private beach access and the perfectly equipped deck. We sat on the deck for two days listening to the rhythmic sounds of the waves. We took the private path with an adorable bridge to the beach for walks.

Very nice experience

It was just a very nice peace and beautiful experience. We had the beach all to our selves and it was such a warm and lovely home. Quick weekend getaway

We loved this house! We really loved the location and the fact that there were not neighbors right on top of us. And that isn’t because we stayed in the middle of December. The houses in this area of location are spaced far enough apart that you don’t feel smothered. We will most definitely be a repeat customer.

Wonderful Location

We had a lovely stay at this property. The location is perfect if you want a nice relaxing calm environment. The house was very clean and the host was great at communicating a TV issue before we arrived. The views from the deck alone are worth booking this space. Make sure you bring some mosquito repellent especially if it rains! Short walk to the beach and we basically had the entire beach to ourselves the entire time we were there! Our little dog and my parents loved it!

Everything about this place was perfect!

I cant say enough nice things about this place. The wife and I needed quiet place to just relax and chill for a couple of days and this place did not disappoint!!!!! the place was very clean, the view of the beach was fantastic and the place was stocked well enough for cooking and preparing meals. there were just a few pots and pans and other utensils but it was good for what we needed....the host was VERY responsive often responding nearly as soon as I sent the request ROFL. we fond a couple of spiders in the corners of the ceiling but we quickly got rid of them.....and also the mosquitos are a real thing so be prepared....it was kinda chilly while we were there but warm the day we left and they were out in full force. we are thnking about booking again the day after Christmas!!!! Well done host and stay here if you can....you won't regret it!!!!! Loved it!

Fantastic stay

The view was incredible! I loved having coffee each morning and listening to the waves, very peaceful. My husband and i used this trip to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The host had a boutique of flowers and card wishing us a happy birthday on arrival. Overall great stay! Taking the ferry to Galveston was free and a fun adventure. We skydived at Skydive Galveston, excellent experience!

Spectacular ocean View!

This beach house has a beautiful view of the gulf, and the beach is easily accessed with a one or two minute walk through a pretty pathway. This house had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing, cooking and playing games with our family. We especially enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunrises from the porch every morning. The house only has two other homes next to it. No one was in these homes the days we were there, so we pretty much had the beach to ourselves! We hope to get to go back sometime soon!

Awesome Escape

First the great parts. Location was amazing, short walk to the beach, and a short drive to everything else. House was clean and AC worked well. Kitchen had everything needed except groceries. Now for the not so great parts. Although the 2 main bedrooms had tv's with roku for streaming there were no remotes for the roku, so the only tv that was usable was the one in the livingroom. The kids bedroom (bunkbed room) did not have a tv as pictured in the listing. Overall we had an amazing time and would definately stay again.

Great Escape from Beryl

This trip started with an unexpected visit from Hurricane Beryl. There was no power and previous occupants were forced out early. We decided to go anyway because it was the better option than Houston. Power came back on day 2 and we were so happy. The owner was in contact with us every day. She was super cool and did what she could to make the stay enjoyable. The location is perfect. There were only 2 houses within stone’s throw. Close to the beach and not too far from restaurants and retail. Secluded but not isolated. The view was amazing and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. I rented a golf cart and we had a blast cruising the beach. Vehicle access to the beach was 1/2 mile down. My daughter caught a dozen fish in view of the house. The area was slightly flooded from the hurricane so the mosquitos were really bad downstairs but upstairs there was no problems with them. The golf cart rental was a good purchase and we took it everywhere. It arrived 10 minutes after I purchased it (West Canal Rentals). Minus the mosquito (the whole island has nasty mosquitoes, not just the house area) it was a great stay. I will probably return next year if it’s available. Could use a few more blinds on windows and doors to keep the heat/light out but the A/C did a good job. Needs a new lock box for the key. It was worth every cent. Thank you

Hi, Welcome to my home – My name is Margene Walz. I am the owner and am thrilled to show you around. Many years ago I moved to California from Nebraska but have always missed the mid-western values and hospitality. Through the advice of my brother Mike Walz of Crystal Beach's Walz Family Builders I seized the opportunity to sell my California condominium and built on Bolivar. I appreciate the area and the hospitality. It is like coming back to my roots. I am very pleased to be able to share my home with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I decided to invest my retirement money here and started with Pelican Bay. It has been such a pleasant experience with wonderful, wonderful guests! So when an opportunity arose I jumped at the chance to purchase a second home. I can't wait to share this peaceful stress-free beach with you.

The most spectacular thing about Pelican Bluff is the spectacular beach front view. The front deck is 16' deep - 8' is covered and 8' is uncovered. Guests are able to enjoy the shade, read, sip a glass of wine or beer or tan in the sunshine. The family area under the house includes a shower, a two built-in picnic tables and charcoal grill. It is a wonderful area that will accommodate many family members and guests. It offers you all the comforts of home with the additional bonus of hearing and watching the surf.
