while the place was great. It was a walk from the parking lot to the apartment. We had a friend drop us off and carrying luggage through the cobble stone streets to the actual building was tough. The apartment was clean, pretty, right in the middle of the town square . We checked in easily and checked out and nobody bothered us in between. Italy and its beauty can’t be beat! I would stay here again but would bring much less stuff! Better explanation of trash and what goes in each container.

Lucca Lovely

This is a lovely apartment in a fabulous locations in the center of Lucca. Within the enormous wall that defines the old part of town, it's within walking distance of everything. The only difficulties we had were locating the apartment and communicating with the apartment managers. The first was due to the fact that there is actually no number on the building (!). The second is that communicating over WhatsApp required an internet connection, which we didn't have outside of the building. That was maddening. We finally got through on the phone, but that was after five or six phone calls. Other than that, the apartment itself is terrific. And I adore Lucca.

We had a perfect week in Lucca. My brother and I brought our father to Lucca so we could visit his grandparents villages just north of the city. We had perfect weather and the apartment was perfect. Great location IN THE VERY CENTRAL OF THE CITY, easy walk to parking the car and train station. The view was stunning. Thank you ! Apartment was clean, cozy and well appointed. Thank you.

Very spacious apartment in a fantastic location. Surprisingly quiet. Elevator was useful for baggage and groceries. Great well thought out information binder on Lucca and the area. Easy check in process and responsive helpful staff . Small touches like 4 wine glasses (not 3) , tea towels, a few more cups/drinking glasses, and clean placemats would have been nice.

La casa è veramente bella e in pieno centro. Io e il mio collega l'abbiamo sfruttata in ogni angolo per seguire da vicino Lucca Comics & Games. Posizione strategica e molto spaziosa, anche per lavorare. Purtroppo siamo arrivati 20 minuti dopo l'orario di check-in per via dell'alluvione in corso e ci sono stati addebitati 50€ in contanti per il ritardo. Torneremo nella prossima edizione del festival nella stessa casa.

Great apartment in Lucca.

The kitchen was great and had everything you could need. The bedrooms were quite large with big comfy beds. The balcony was great and we used it all the time. The view from the front windows . When the windows were closed you could not hear anything noise from the street. There is a lift in the building its slow but better than climbing the steps. The apartment is close to everything. We parked in Citadella and got a card to park which lasts for a month for 50 euros great value. Couldn't say a bad thing about the apartmentLucca. Loved them both.

We were grateful for the space and 2 bathrooms in this oversized apartment. Would be very comfortable for two couples. Great location, quiet at night. Beds super comfortable. Would stay again. Bean bags could be replaced with arm chairs! Not useful for older guests. And a coffee table in front of the sofa would be good, or at least beside the sofa arm closest to the window. Nowhere to put your wine glass...

So many good things but one big flaw

There are so many good things about this apartment. The location is perfect - overlooking the piazza San Giovanni and close to restaurants and shops. You can walk out your front door and be right in the midst of the city. Yet it is enough off the well traveled streets to be quiet and peaceful. The elevator to take us to the third floor was much appreciated as we are of a certain age and I was suffering a foot injury when we stayed. The rooms are spacious and the views from the apartment were lovely. All of the appliances were ok. The clothes washer worked well but the dryer did not really dry the clothes. No worries though as there was plenty of room to set up drying racks. This was important as we were there during the middle week of our 3 week stay in Italy. The big flaw with this apartment was the furniture. There was not one comfortable place to sit in the entire apartment. The sofas was old and sagged terribly- we actually took the small bean bag poofs and put them on the sofa to see if that would make it more comfortable ( it didn’t). The remainde4 of seating options were all hard plastic chairs. They were ok for short periods of time, but we were looking for a place to relax between sight seeing and this furniture made that impossible. The beds were also hard and uncomfortable and the linens neede to be replaced long ago. With just a few updates to comfortable furniture and new linens, this apartment would be 5 star. Unfortunately, we were eager to leave at the end of the week to find more comfortable accommodation

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Property managers were always reachable and quick to react. To the point when we mentioned there was only 1 wine glass in the cabinet, they went out and bought more! Apartment was perfect location with everything easily accessible on foot, including the train station. Property managers were also very helpful in recommending car services, tour guides and even a chef for a cooking class. We could not have been happier with our choice! That said, two small items that I wish had been different. There was no place in either shower to put shampoo, soap, etc other than floor. It also would have been nice to have a coffee table in the sitting room to offer a place to put a drink or snacks when sitting on the couch. Very minor inconveniences compared to what we loved!

This is a fantastic flat. Beautiful views, the location is perfect and so much to discover in Lucca for a small city. The train station also makes it easy to get to Florence, PisaViareggio. The flat was exactly as it is in the pictures and spotlessly clean.
