Our journey to the Florida Keys began in 2009, when we vacationed here for the first time and instantly fell in love with the laid-back lifestyle, the vibrant oceanfront scenery, and the warm, welcoming community. What started as a family getaway quickly grew into a lifelong passion.

Driven by our love for the Keys, we founded HappyintheKeys — a lifestyle brand and a curated collection of luxury vacation rental residences. We didn’t just want to buy a house here; we wanted to build experiences that capture the essence of what makes the Keys so special.

Each home in our portfolio, including Grouper House, is custom-designed and personally managed by us. We focus on quality, comfort, and thoughtful design to ensure that every guest feels like they’re coming home — whether it’s their first visit or their tenth.

We built this home to make vacationing together easy and enjoyable, with generous indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, a resort-style pool, and premium amenities designed for relaxation and fun. From quiet morning coffee on the terrace to sunset cocktails by the pool, Grouper House is meant to be shared, enjoyed, and remembered.

🚤 Private Boat Ramp — A rare and valuable feature in the Keys, our ramp is reserved exclusively for guests of our five homes and our personal use. It’s ideal for guests who bring their own boats and want convenient, secure water access.
🛥️ Extra-Wide IPE Dock — Built for both comfort and function, the dock offers plenty of space for boarding, unloading, or simply relaxing. It’s also a great spot for fishing or spotting manatees cruising the canal.
🏊 Expansive Pool Area — The large saline pool is thoughtfully positioned between the home and the dock for easy access and stunning views. A splash deck makes it perfect for kids, while the surrounding lounge area invites relaxation in sun or shade. A Bathroom is convenient to the pool and dock.
