Welcome to 'Coco Plum Paradise' located in the heart of Coco Plum in Marathon, Florida! This prime waterfront location provides our guests everything they need to have a fantastic vacation in the Florida Keys. This is truly the one of the best locations in Marathon and it screams location, location, location!!! We love this home and want to share our little slice of paradise with you. As you will see, we have a unique and affordable waterfront home with 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and plenty of room to accommodate multiple families or larger groups. One bedroom is downstairs and two bedrooms have en-suite full bathrooms. The back yard and water views are amazing as this home is located on a 200-foot-wide canal!!! Licensed to sleep up to 10 guests, there are 4 bedrooms with 5 King beds plus a pullout sofa bed in the living room. Each bedroom has Smart flatscreen TVs, ample closet space and new dressers to store your personal items such as luggage and clothing.

This home has many updates both inside and out, including but not limited to brand new interior and outdoor furniture (4 sofas and 1 loveseat, new mattresses, bedding and bedroom sets), a newer metal roof, new interior and exterior paint, dining room table that seats 8, Tiki Hut, privacy trees between the neighboring properties, paver driveway, new artwork, updated kitchen and a large synthetic grass area under a large shaded tree and new pool with attached jacuzzi tub.

The list of positive attributes for this home are plentiful. Some of the amenities include a heated private pool, 110' waterfront with about 80 foot of dockage, ample parking for 6 or more vehicle plus 2 boat trailers and a very large and spacious back yard. There is plenty of room for all your vehicles, boats water toys and trailers. Additionally, the back yard is completely fenced in for privacy and there is a lot of room for our guests to spread out and enjoy the outdoors. There are long water views from the back yard as the home is located on a 200-foot-wide canal. And for those who like sand between their toes, Coco Plum beach is only a few minutes away.

The back yard is amazing and hard to top!!! There you will find a large tiki hut with long built-in bar top to eat and drink, 4 lounge chairs, 8 Adirondack chairs, 2 separate outdoor tables with additional seating for 8 and a long bar top in the Tiki Hut. Our guests can soak up the sun by the pool or sit under the shaded tree area and enjoy the ocean breeze. The community is extremely safe and our guests often take morning or evening walks to the beach. Additionally, there are large first and second floor balconies in the front of the home which are beautiful and give our guests even more privacy and seating options. At night, you can sit by the water, look at the stars and enjoy the peaceful serenity that this property has to offer.

There is a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker utensils and cookware. Linens, bath towels and starter toiletries are provided along with a full-size washer and dryer.

If you play golf, Sombrero Beach public golf course is only 10 minutes away. The golf facility also has multiple tennis courts and the City of Marathon has a free skate park nearby with basketball, baseball and tennis courts.

And let’s not forget the star of the show which is the ocean and water activities. For our boaters and fishermen, this home is only minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. The fishing in Marathon is world class!!! From Mahi and Tuna to Sailfish and Grouper, the fishery is plentiful. You can fish, snorkel and dive within minutes of leaving the dock as the marine life and coral reefs are extraordinary. Manatees, snook, tarpon and even dolphins are often seen in the canal. Fishing off the dock is a ton of fun and the kids can catch fish all day long.

Further, there are many great waterfront restaurants in the immediate area along with creature comforts such as Publix, Walgreens, CVS, banks and gas stations. Additionally, this home is within minutes of several local attractions like the Dolphin Research Center, Aquarium Encounters, Turtle Hospital, Pigeon Key, the Seven Mile Bridge and Curry Hammock State Park.

For our adventurers, there are local Snorkel and Sunset cruise charters which take you to amazing nearby coral reefs such as Sombrero Light and Looe Key. Other local rental shops include kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles.

Need Baby Gear? No need to pack bulky baby equipment anymore. Babyquip.com has you covered for everything you need like cribs, pack-n-plays, strollers, car seats, toys and more. They deliver, set-up and pick-up when you’re done.

Who likes extra charges? Not us!!! The daily rate you pay includes everything. No extra charge for heating the pool, extra persons or administrative fees. And don't forget that we are locals who fish and dive these waters all year round. We love giving advice and tips about fishing and snorkel spots to our guests.

Please note that we are the new owners of this property which has never been rented before. Therefore, we do not have many reviews as this home only started taking reservations in July 2022 for the following year. We expect to see online reviews in January 2023.

Lastly, we are in the vacation rental business so please take a look at our other house (Sombrero Sunset House Vrbo 2324427) if you need more room for friends and family. You can find us on FB by searching the name of the home. Our properties require a 7 day minimum stay and check-in/check-out is every Saturday. Security cameras on premises.

Awesome house - perfect for family
We had such a great time over Thanksgiving in marathon! This house was perfect for our family - 5 adults, 2 teens and a baby. One of the bedrooms had great darkening shades that was a great room for the baby. The outdoor space was beautiful, lots of seating and the pool was warm and clean. We loved the multiple couches in the living room, we could all sit and watch TV together. I used baby quip for some rental items for my baby which worked out great. Hope to be back again!!

We had the best trip! Jay and his wife were very responsive when we had questions. They also provided great advice on things to do around the islands. The house had everything we needed and then some! I highly recommend staying at this house or one of Jay’s other properties!

Great spot for two families
This house is a step up from your typical Keys vacation property. All the beds were King size with foam mattresses. Ample parking for our boat trailers. It’s tucked back in the canal system which allows for privacy but a slightly longer idle zone. Easy access to the Atlantic for offshore fishing. We had plenty of room for our group of eight.

Tons of Dock Space
We had an amazing 2 family fishing trip. This place was one of the few places I could find that allowed us to have 2 boats and trailers. We brought 26' and a 19' boat and there was plenty of room to maneuver in an out of the dock Plenty of parking. Nice large kitchen with an island prep sink. Plenty of sitting room for large groups. Large bedrooms. House was very clean and a nice size pool. I would definitely recommend for a 2 family getaway! Thanks for providing us with an amazing vacation!

Very nice place with plenty of dock space and parking.
My only negative comment, and I new this going into the rental...there is no commercial ice machine or bait freezer. Even if I wasn't there to fish, if you have a house that sleeps 10 people, you are going to need more than just a regular refrigerator to keep up with the demand. Bait freezer is also a must if you ask me. As for the property, parking was awesome. Plenty of room for all of the vehicles and the two boat trailers we had. Artificial turf in the back yard was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this property.

This property is amazing!!!! The back yard is a post card of perfection with wide open water views, pool, tiki hut and shade when you need it. If you don't feel like fishing or boating, just take a 5 minute stroll down to Coco Plum Beach. It's beautiful.
