50th at La Source

My friends and I have just come back from a week at La Source for my 50th and it did not disappoint. The chalet is beautiful with great views over Morzine especially from the hot tub ! The chalet rep Jess looked after us fantastically well from day-1, acting as our local ski guide , restaurant advice , and chauffeur after a hard days skiing/apres ! Overall a great holiday in a fantastic chalet, in a great resort. Highly recommended.

Summer holiday with family & friends - just WOW!

Beautifully appointed chalet set on a hillside about 10 mins walk from the centre of Morzine. Views are absolutely stunning. Very well equipped with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Great for families with young kids & teenagers. Lots of activities nearby including downhill mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing, parapenting, paddleboarding - I could go on all day! We went on some lovely walks and spent several days at beautiful Lake Montriond - about 10 minutes drive away. The chalet itself is a lovely retreat after a long day of activities, peaceful but still so near all the action. Hot tub was a bonus for aching muscles! The owners and management team were very helpful, providing lots of advice about the local area and amenities. There is so much to do here it's impossible to fit into 2 weeks. Would love to return in the near future. Fantastic stay thank you!

The best chalet in the alps

I have been lucky enough to stay in some amazing places over the past 30 years or so, but La Source is to chalets, what le Gavroche is to restaurants and Real Madrid is to football clubs. Everything was even better than it looked in the photos. There is loads to do in Morzine and its environs, from strenuous mountaing hikes, to gentle river strolls, from canyoning to birdwatching. The local stores give you a flavour of the food of rural France and the supermarkets allow to shop for any and all you cullinary needs. The chalet itself is beautifully appointed and the manager Lucy could not have been more helpful. If you are lucky enough to book and go to La Source, I am sure you will have a fantastic time. Gorgeous luxury chalet with stunning views

La Source is a stunning chalet in an elevated position providing panoramic views over Morzine and beyond. It is beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped. We particularly enjoyed early evenings in the hot tub overlooking the valley after a hard days skiing. The chalet is great for families, with bedrooms set up perfectly and lots to do for the children including table football in the 'cool' glass floored bar area. We were three families and there was masses space for us all. We hope to come back soon

Gorgeous chalet

The chalet is absolutely gorgeous and in a great spot for walking to and from the town. We were two families and found we had plenty of space plus the hot tub was a big hit. Best bit for me was sitting out on the balcony early evening enjoying a drink and the view. The owner Lucy was exceptionally helpful and gave us lots of top tips about how to get the most out of our stay. Highly recommended.

Luxurious, Stylish and Light

A summer break rather than skiing, but our kids love the outdoorsy summer pursuits: mountain biking, paragliding, riding, or just tossing pebbles into the river, for which Morzine is a fantastic base. Chalet La Source is on the north slope above the town centre, about a 5-8 minute walk from shops and bars, crossing the spectacular foot bridge above the gorge along the way. It's a brand new, architect designed wonder, all split levels, triple height atriums, seemingly endless balcony and even (i kid you not) a room built against the bare rock face with mountain water running down it (hence the name I believe). Outdoor hot tub was a winner with the kids. Bright, light, cool, spotless and comfy. Beautiful chalet in a beautiful spot. Recommended.

La Source Luxury Chalet - Fabulous

This is quite simply 'THE' best chalet I have stayed in whilst in the Alps. Everything was immaculate from the interior design to the gregarious artworks - every detail was superb. The chalet is positioned perfectly to enjoy the views of the beautiful authentic french mountain biking summer haven and expansive Les Portes Du Soleil ski resort of Morzine, within easy access of the town itself (5-10 minute walk away). We loved the evenings on the balcony and the unique internal 'Stag' Bar, a stunning feature cut out of the rock face. Bedrooms are arranged to support couples or families with children of any age, with a master bedroom suite on the top floor. The hot tub is a great addition and really soothed the muscles after all activities of each day. We will definitely be returning and I would recommend this chalet to anyone thinking of heading to Morzine - outstanding.

A well finished chalet in a fantastic location

The chalet gives you the combination of easy access to the town centre but with some level of privacy and a quite location. The internal finish is done to a high standard and the views have to be some of the best in Morzine. Although we did not spend much time in the chalet it was always a pleasure to return at the end of the day.
