Casale Dell’Oliveto. A stunning country villa with 15m pool in beautiful setting

Casale Dell’Oliveto is a beautiful and tranquil, spacious country villa, converted from old farm buildings, incorporating two trullo cones and lamia. The villa sits in a privately owned five acre olive grove (fenced) with many fig, almond and pear trees and even pomegranates in season.

The ‘Trullo’ is a distinctive, small dry-stone building with a conical roof, which is specific to the Itria Valley in this region of Puglia.

The villa is uniquely and beautifully furnished in a relaxed mediterranean style, ideal for three couples or a large family group.

Each of the 3 bedrooms have their own distinctive character. All have air conditioning and are en-suite with large walk in showers. One of the bedrooms has double doors opening onto the covered verandah.

The kitchen and lavenderia are well equipped, with hi-spec appliances, including a large Smeg oven, a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine and a dining table seating 6-8 guests

The barrel vaulted living room has a comfortable sofa and chairs, a TV and music centre which connects to speakers in the kitchen and to the outside verandah. There is also a work desk. From the living room there are the original double wooden doors and then large glass doors that open out onto the covered verandah. A wonderful expansive space to chill and lounge during the hot summer months. And the dining table seating 8 guests, is the ideal place to have a leisurely breakfast and to take in the view to the pool, the garden the olive grove beyond.

There are numerous areas around the villa to discover, including the pergola by the pool where you can catch a welcome breeze. It’s a great space to hide away with a book, or to take an aperitivo in the evening in its cosy seating area. The pergola also houses another large dining table comfortably seating 8-10 and is located by the BBQ. There is also the walled herb garden and the wonderful rooftop terrace, ideal for yoga in the early morning or in the evening when the sun sets and it’s the perfect place for stargazing at night.
