Many thanks to the writer of this review. When we furnished Villa Julia we asked ourselves what we would want from a holiday villa. We would have wanted a 'home from home' where everything we had at home was also in the villa. The kitchen would have the measuring spoons as well as the microwave, the juicer as well as the oven, the expresso machine as well as the fridge freezer, in other words, it would have all the little things as well as the basics. We wanted the outside furniture to be as luxurious and plentiful as the inside furniture. We wanted space to sometimes get away by ourselves and read a book as well as good communal areas where families and friends could join together for memorable meals and drinks. We wanted people to walk in the door and say 'wow, this is lovely' but not be intimidated by it and afraid to relax there. If we have achieved that for our guests we are thrilled. I think we must have gone a long way towards that as many of our guests return year after year and tell me they feel as though they are coming home.

Dear Jules, Thank you so much for your comments. We do try really hard to make the villa perfect for your holiday. I personally speak to all our guests and ask them if there was anything they wanted that they did not find in the villa. We then make sure they have that item when they return. Almost 80% of our clients are returning guests who, having found the villa, it fitting their needs, like the familiarity of returning to somewhere that they feel is like a second home. We hope you will return to your 'second home' in the near future. Jan
