Villa Relax in Lagna, 3 km from San Maurizio d 'Opaglio, 14 km from the center of Orta San Giulio. Independent villa in an elevated position with respect to the lake overlooking the lake, immersed in a private park of 2 ha of which 7000 m2 for the exclusive use of guests with lawns and secular trees with direct and exclusive access to the lake, deckchairs and sun loungers, pier and buoy mooring, suitable for private boats.

The context is very peaceful, ideal for a period of relaxation and recreation.
There is a barbecue and garden furniture, table tennis, canoes, hammocks, bicycles and volleyball net. Tennis on the ground 10 minutes € 15 hour
Possibility of renting a motor boat, a sailing cruiser of 5.30 meters from the owner or an optimist.
The villa includes: private parking, washing machine, dishwasher, satellite TV and internet key.
Grocery stores, supermarkets and restaurants 3 km away. Note indispensable car.


Lake Orta is a lake with transparent and crystal clear waters ideal for water sports. Possibility to do water skiing after agreement with the owner. On the Island of San Giulio in the Tallone house, in Orta a and in the neighboring villages in August and September there are classical music concerts in the churches and squares. There are outlets around the lake: LoroPiana, Alessi, Lagostina, Sergio Tacchini, Bialetti, outlets in Vicolungo. Mottarone ski resort 20km and 60km from Dorobianca and 76km from Macugnaga.

Fantastic lakeside holiday home

This is one of the best locations I have stayed at. Stefano's house is perfectly situated on the beautiful Lake Lugano set within huge gardens with access to the lake which was fantastic. He has kayaks, canoes , mountain bikes to use free of charge, we did not want to leave. The house is comfortable and homely and is near to Pella. We loved exploring the area by boat and we all definitely want to go back. Stefano and his wife were very helpful and communicated via email and text with no problems. Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon.

dream house

A family vacation of 12 people for 5 days. The group included participants from the age of 3 to the age of 70. Everyone found their place. We managed to fall in love with this great lake. For us, the ability to kayak and bathe in the lake every day and in addition to hike in the surrounding mountains made the vacation amazing. Stefano, the owner, was attentive, generous, and helped with everything needed. We will definitely visit again. highly recommend.

A wonderful place

We were a family group of 13 persons; 3 families with 2 children each (aged between 4 and 16 years) and one grandfather. Thus quite a biggish group. We enjoyed the week there tremendously. The house accomodated us well, was well equipped and spaceous with a big terrace where we could all sit for meals with a lovely view of the lake. Access of the water was easy by a short downhill walk via a big lawn. the water was great even for the smaller children as it was shallow at the entry so they could collect stones, try to swim and snorkel. Most appreciated was the use of the canoe, kajak and motor boat. The water was very pleasant and clean. Stefano, the owner, was a most pleasant and helpful host with any help in the house and suggestions where to go, even to the dentist, and where to shop, easy to talk to. We all considered this week a most pleasant one and suggest it warmly.

Unglaublich schönes GrundstĂŒck

Herrliche Lage etwas oberhalb vom See

-saubere, gut unterhaltene Liegenschaft -Ausbaustandard ganz gut, dem Alter entsprechend -komplett eingerichtet und alles Notwendige vorhanden -schöne Aussen-CheminĂ©es hinter dem Haus und am See unten -herrlich ruhige Lage etwas oberhalb des See -Boje und kleiner Steg direkt beim eigenen GrundstĂŒck (Bei grösseren Booten wird guter Anker fĂŒr zusĂ€tzliche Sicherung empfohlen) -herrlicher See fĂŒr Wassersport (kaum Boote, kaum Wellen) -sehr zuvorkommende und nette Betreuung durch EigentĂŒmer Stephano -reibungslose Abwicklung Depot/RĂŒckgabe usw. - nur 4 Sterne da Haus etwas oberhalb des Sees liegt und der Aufstieg doch sehr steil ist (besser man vergisst nichts, wenn man an den See geht :) ) -Ferien im Haus von Stephano kann ich nur empfehlen. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, auch wenn das Wetter nicht ganz so super toll war

Top Spot on Lake Orta

This has to be one of the best places we have ever stayed - great house in a fantastic setting with your own (very large) private garden extending down to the lake and use of kayaks, boats and bikes not to mention sun loungers, hammocks, table tennis and badminton. Lots of things to do if you are that way inclined or not to do if you'd prefer to just put your feet up. Hard to beat a (daily!) 20 minute paddle across the lake to get supreme gelato from Orta village. Very helpful run through from Stefano of all things in the house and great response in fixing things when we were struck by the most enormous thunder and lightning storm imaginable. All in all a top spot!

Site exceptionnel avec magnifique propriété avec accÚs privatif au lac

Un petit coin de paradis au bord d'un des plus charmants lacs italiens. Stefano,le propriĂ©taire est Ă  la fois rĂ©actif et discret. La maison confortable, meublĂ©e de façon un peu ancienne .À 7 adultes et 3 jeunes enfants, nous Ă©tions confortables. Beaucoup d'activitĂ©s proposĂ©es dans la grande propriĂ©tĂ© et d' agrĂ©ables promenades dans cette belle rĂ©gion.

Emplacement exceptionnel

Nous avons passĂ© une semaine de rĂȘve au bord du lac, dans la propriĂ©tĂ© de Stefano. Le parc qui descend vers le lac et la plage privĂ©e est vĂ©ritablement exceptionnel. C'est un lieu magique, enchanteur. Stefano est extrĂȘmement gentil et prĂ©venant. Il laisse Ă  notre disposition des vĂ©los, pour dĂ©couvrir les environs, deux canoĂ«s, et nous avons louĂ© son bateau Ă  moteur afin de pouvoir faire des balades sur le lac. L'eau du lac est propre et trĂšs bonne, et la vue est magnifique. La maison est assez basique mais trĂšs pratique, avec une grande cuisine agrĂ©able. Nous avons pris tous nos repas sur la terrasse en jouissant de la splendide vue. Stefano a eu la gentillesse de nous autoriser Ă  planter deux tentes dans le jardin car nous Ă©tions trop nombreux. Le lac d'Orta est une pure merveille, la propriĂ©tĂ© de Stefano est merveilleusement bien placĂ©e pour en profiter pleinement, et Stefano est un hĂŽte tout Ă  fait sympathique et prĂ©venant. Nous reviendrons avec joie.

Fine house, superb park at best location on Lake Orta

We stayed in this house with to families (6 children aged 7-11) in late July 2016. The house is situated at the best side of the lake with views to Isola San Giulio from the garden. It has direct access to the lake and enjoys an enormous private garden with old trees and many romantic sitting areas. The house has most everything you need, some of it is slightly outdated as you can see in the pictures, and upon our arrival the kitchen needed a bit more cleaning. This was taken care of right away. The house has recently been upgraded with larger wooden tables on the terrace. This allows for large dinners with up to 16 people. He has plans to upgrade his WIFI system beyond the 4G dongle that is currently in place. I am certain that the owner will continue to upgrade his house with such smart and useful improvements. The house is well equipped with all sorts of leisure and sports gear; boats, canoes, ping pong table, BBQ's, mountainbikes, etc. Stefano - the owner - takes great pride is his property and visited us every day to see if we needed anything. He committed to fast repair work on one of the canoes so we could use it again just hours later. He even spontaneously took us on a boat trip round the lake and thought the children to sail. His suggestions for groceries or restaurants are good and useful. Upon our departure Stefano and his wife even gave us some yearlings from plants from the garden, very much appreciated and a nice souvenir!

Sport holiday in peaceful place

We`re two families staying 6 nights in Villa. The owner was very friendly and gave good hints where to visit, eat etc. The villa was spacious for even 10 people. Villa has all the facilities you need incl. wash machine. Best parts were large garden and wonderful view over the lake. Villa could be more cosy and cleaner, but for us it was ok and towels and bedlinen were clean. We`re playing football, volleyball, canoeing and hiking. Almost every evening we had barbecue dinner and days started with nice walk to village bakery. Lake Orta is so beautiful and water is clean. If you like peaceful environment with friends or family this is you place.

La Villa Relax porte bien son nom

La villa Relax est merveilleusement bien situĂ©, le point de vue est remarquable La famille Momigliano nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de chaleur et de gentillesse tout dans la maison est fait pour qu'une famille avec des enfants soient vraiment bien. Nous avons eu un petit problĂšme avec un des enfant malade, les propriĂ©taires ont fait le maximum pour nous trouver un docteur rapidement. Two weeks in Paradise

Fantastic location and so easy to get to from Milan My family of 5 ( children aged 15-21) plus two of eldest daughters friends found the combination of bedrooms worked really well . The kitchen and BBQ were good . We had great weather for most of the 2 weeks . The views from the Villa were amazing and by a twist of fate even improved during the first week as a storm knocked down a tall tree in front of the Villa The lake was fantastic , the fresh water ( rather than salty sea water ) made the swimming more enjoyable , but with the combination of boats , canoes , the family and friends could be as independent of each other as was needed , with trips for ice creams at Pella or to the waterfall . Use of the motor boat was great and made trips across to the island or Orta all the more enjoyable . Stefano the owner was always popping to see if we were OK and helping with recommendations on places to see and visit . He was also a good sailing instructor . The Villa as the name indicates was very relaxing and we are looking forward to going again .

A week in August.

A really wonderful setting. We know the lake well, and it was a very nice surprise, to be in such a beautiful location. The views are lovely and there is plenty of shaded areas. It is very quiet and you are off the main road, which is important as many other lakeside places sit on the main road. The view from the lakeside and from the house are wonderful, and it is a joy to sit out in the evening. The accommodation is exactly as you see in the pictures. Our two young daughters stayed upstairs, but do be aware, that this gets very hot. The house has plenty of space, we were a family of 4, but it could easily accommodate more. There is a table tennis table, which if you have children is great. There are various bikes in the canteen/cellar, and I would recommend using the boat, the lake deserves it. We were particularly lucky as the owner was unnecessarily generous in taking our 5 year old sailing. In particular teaching her to sail a boat on her own. Emily won't stop talking about this now. I believe all reviews have to mention any bad points for contrast. If i have to say anything, then upon arrival we had to buy liquid soap dispensers for the bathrooms, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, and for the money I might even have expected a basket of things for your arrival. The owner did leave a bottle of wine, but a basket of bread/salami/cheese etc.. would have made the arrival excellent. Also at the time there wasn't a kettle or a tea pot (for the english of course), but I hope that these were just an oversight that has i'm sure now been rectified. For those that unfortunately need to keep an eye on work, then there is no wifi, but the owners did leave a usb dongle, which should work for laptops, but not for an ipad. Overall, I must say that as a family we really had a lovely time and would without question recommend it. The owner and his family were also very welcoming and friendly towards us, and added to making our stay a memorable one.
