6 Schlafzimmer, 4 Badezimmer, 2 voll ausgestattete Küche Haus nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß zu allen Restaurants, Sportbars, Geschäften und schönen Stränden im Herzen von Kona! Nur einen Hügel hinauf in einer ruhigen Gegend ohne Verkehrslärm in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend und doch in der Nähe der Stadt! Ein perfekter Ort!
Ein geräumiges zweistöckiges Haus mit zwei voll ausgestatteten Küchen, oben eine Aussichtsterrasse mit Treppe und unten eine überdachte Terrasse mit Grill.
Zugang zu einem separaten Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Private Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Ein Webber-Grill mit vier Brennern. Müll und Recycling-Bereich.
Wir checken unsere Gäste persönlich bei unserem Manager ein. Wenn es etwas gibt, das unsere Gäste brauchen, wenn es Probleme oder Fehlfunktionen gibt, ist er nur einen Anruf entfernt, um das Problem zu lösen.
Unsere Nachbarschaft ist weg von der Hauptstraße, auf einem kleinen Hügel in einer sehr ruhigen und friedlichen Nachbarschaft. Alle Nachbarn sind sehr ruhig und respektvoll gegenüber allen. Hohe Banyan- und Ficusbäume vermitteln ein privates Gefühl.
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel finden Sie nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt an der örtlichen Bushaltestelle. Mietfahrzeuge können nach vorheriger Reservierung am Flughafen Kona gemietet werden. Vermietung auch für Keiki (Baby / Infint / Kind) i. e. Kinderwagen, Pack n Play, Kinderbetten, Autositze etc.

We love the space in the house for all of us to have our own rooms for reasonable price. The owners are responsive and look out for us. We like the grill and ability to prepare our own meals. Close to grocery store to replenish supplies.

Kona House

The property was great and the host was very nice. She provided some Christmas decorations and we had fun decorating. Hawaii is very beautiful and the house was in a good location. Loved it. We all had a great time.

Fit our entire family!

We took our family to Hawaii as a celebration and there was plenty of room for all of us. We each had our own bedrooms, and the bathrooms were plentiful. It was nice to have a washer and dryer on the premises. As other reviewers have said, it didn't have central air. Very few homes on the island seemed to have it. There were fans in each room which helped at night. We did see a bug or two in the house, but there were hundreds outside, so that didn't surprise us. It was a great location for groceries, restaurants by the pier, and even a pharmacy when we needed it. It was easy to get to our snorkeling and manta ray excursion. We had two rental cars and we were able to park both of them in the driveway. There were beach supplies that we borrowed. We really appreciated the coolers so we could pack a lunch and take it the day we needed it. Overall, it was a great location and great house that provided us with the ability to be with our family, yet have private rooms in case we needed some time away from our family.

Almost everything was great

The house was great. We all enjoyed our 3-night stay. The one complaint is that the travel crib (in the listing) was broken. We rented the house in part because we were travelling with a 2-year-old and the listing said there is a travel crib. With no travel crib, we would not have rented the house. When we found the crib, the mattress was missing and the frame was broken on two sides. It was unusable. We contacted Jeri immediately and she gave us the name of a place that would deliver one the next day.....if we wanted to rent one. She flatly refused to pay for the rental. I don't blame her for having a broken crib; perhaps the last renter broke it. However, I expect the host to provide what is promised.

Hillside home

This property was perfect for us, our adult children & our grandchildren. We walked down to the pier each of the evenings that we were in Kona to view the beautiful sunsets. There was a grocery store just a few blocks away & restaurants downtown.

Perfect for the whole family

Huge house with room enough for our entire extended family (7 adults and 3 kids). The upstairs living room was very airy and comfortable. Lots of room for people to spread out and not be on top of each other in between excursions. Very close to downtown.

We had a great time at the Downtown Gem. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and main street in Kona. The area around the unit is a little run down but the house itself is great. Perfect for a large group.

Awesome stay

Property was listed as a 5 bedroom with only 4 pictures of the bedrooms which worried me at first as we had 6 individual parties. But to my relief and surprise the unit had 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. Everything is located nearby. I would stay again if i plan another golf trip to kona.

Great Stay

Perfect home for our family of 10. Great location-10-15 min walk to restaurants, shopping and the ocean. Beach towels, beach toys and coolers are provided. The kids loved the boogie boards! Quiet neighborhood. We would definitely book this home again.

Family vacation

We had a great time. It was very hot but coolers and fans helped. Coqui frogs were annoying but not property owners fault. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and two cooking areas. Would have liked more outdoor space. W/D were very nice and adequate. Ours was a family get together with family from Europe. Central location helped as we toured from Hawi to South Point to Volcanos to Hilo to Konaha.

Originally from Southern California, both Jeri and Steve met here on the Big Island in the early seventies. Married since 1979, and have a son named Chris. Our love for the ocean and island life has kept us here ever since. Come and enjoy a relaxing getaway.

We love the location close to town, where the beach is just a few minutes walking distance. Shops and restaurants are endless fun, and the Farmer's Market provides local fruits and vegetables, flowers, and local gift shopping.

If you’re looking for a location in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood with zero traffic and town noise, yet just a quick walk to all of the city, you will not find anything better than this. The view from the upper floor is beautiful, with the blue water sunsets, and with a classic view of the mountainside as well. The covered downstairs patio is a place to be outside with privacy. It is a nice cool, quiet, hilltop compound, where you can relax with your group, and also have the convenience to do your own thing and walk to Starbucks, McDonald’s, or the bowling alley, and all restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is very quiet with lots of shade. It is a very unique place, which made us fall in love with it!!
