This is a beautiful property that had nearly everything we needed. Did not have beach chairs. The description said it was on the beach but we were actually a mile from the beach. It was an easy drive but parking was very difficult. Overall, I would absolutely stay again. I would just plan better.

Wells rental

Location was great,check in process very easy and owner was very prompt with communication. The kitchen was poorly equipped for food preparation and we did not feel safe using the oven as there was a lot of grease buildup. The space also needs hooks for hanging items such as towels and there were no clothes hangers in the space which would be helpful for travelers.

Could you elaborate on kitchen items needed? You were our first guests this season after our winter renters so we did our best to restock but would love to make sure travelers have all the items they may need. Thank you for your feedback. Ok, needs some TLC

Great location and super smooth check-in. Good reliable Internet and smart TVs a plus. Interior could use some updating and fixing in some areas. Beds/mattresses were clearly old and not comfortable and difficult to sleep on causing sore backs. Living room/bedroom end tables were just 3-tiet plastic drawers from Target, and with no coffee table there is no real place to put drinks or other items. Could use more real actual tables in the living room. Cookware was sparse and need updating. Kids loved the bunkbed. Did the job for us for sure, but I feel like the whole place could use some tlc.

Clean, convenient, cool no fuss stay

Our 4 person family loved this little beach condo! We have been long-time Wells beachgoers, but never stayed in a hotel or small rental unit before (always rented a house). This unit is right at the opposite end of Mile rd from the beach, behind a local brewery restaurant. It was quiet, comfortable with a mini-split ac unit, has smart tvs in every room, and has a great sliding door view out over the salt marsh to the beach properties. We are in our 40s with a teenage daughter and active 70s nana and found it a perfect fit for a simple, no fuss family. We do like to cook a lot of our own meals and eat together, so the small kitchen area and amenities was an adjustment our first day... but a HUGE upside is the washer and dryer in the master bedroom. To tackle concerns about parking for the beach we drove all of our beach camp down and parked early-late morning, then walked back. When we were ready to beach for the day we walked back and at the end of the day all we had to do was pack up and drive down the road. We used Brettskis Beach Shuttle one day, who was awesome. Front door service for $15 anywhere in Wells for up to 5 ppl (or 4 with a small cooler like us). We are already planning to stay here next summer. Thanks so much!

Quite unhappy of our choice

Pictures are not showing the car parking located between grass area and at 4 feet from door entrance. Place was clean but not functionnal at all. No fan in kitchen , Cooking pans need to be replace ( no more coating Inside). No table with chairs in kitchen ( we borrowed outside units from absent neigbour), In the room with two beds, old TV set shoud be discard to increase space & curtains has to be replace ( too much light coming in), Shower plumbery should be realign for people less than 6 feet hight, Distance to the beach is 5 minutes drive not walk We rent for 5 days & quit the forth day being happy to leave Will not recommend this place for vacations at Wells Danielle , Solange & Jean

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your stay at our condo. Perhaps this was a communication barrier... As per instructions provided prior to arrival as well as in your information binder in the condo.... -A table and chairs are stored underneath the master bed in order to save space and are available for your use inside and outside of the condo if you choose. -The TV in the guest room is preferred for those who have children. It's use is optional. -Our windows also have blinds if the level of light is not preferable. -The shower size is large and standard. Many prefer this extra space. -The beach is only .25 miles away ..It should take less than a minute if you choose to drive and is only a brief walk. -Thank you for your suggestions regarding the pots and pans. They are functional but not brand new and we will be replacing them.

Seulement un chaudron sans couvercle était présent. 2 poêlons sont très usés. Vaisselle en plastique. Quantité de la Coutellerie minimaliste. Pas de hotte de poêle dans la cuisine.

Fun in the sun and sand!

Simple, small, clean, quiet, and in a great location - close to everything including Wells beach, restaurants, Hannaford's, a movie theatre and more. Located just under a mile from the beach, it's a15 minute walk or a much quicker drive. Finding parking can be challenging during the July/Aug months so head down early. We enjoyed walking through the shops at the center of Wells and eating ice cream at Scoop Deck every night! Communication with the owners was quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property, great location

This condo was the perfect size and had everything we needed. Location is super close to the beach as well as a grocery store, brewery, restaurants. Great communication with owners. Ease of check in/check out process. Would most definitely rent again.

Conveniently Located

Great location and condo complex but honestly the seating in the Living room was a disappointment. The Loveseat was extremely uncomfortable and the chair with no arms looked decorative however a more comfortable chair would have been appreciated.. Thankfully we brought some comfy camp chairs along to use outside in case we needed them and ended up using them inside instead. The beds were adequate but a mattress pad over the plastic mattress protectors would certainly be an improvement. We were thankful for the cleanliness of the condo and the close proximity to the beach and grocery stores etc. Just want to be honest about improvements we think would go a long way in making it better.

Great VRBO in Wells Maine

The place was a perfect location. Very nice and clean. A few minor cosmetic kinks (no hooks towels in there bathroom, shower head a little unfinished) and no Mirrors hung or full length I'm the bedrooms. Otherwise PERFECT looking forward to next year!

Family gathering

Great layout and location for us and our 2 adult sons. Short walk down the road to Wells Beach, and convenient to get groceries. Unit is a little older than expected, but charming. Bring mattress pads in addition to linens, and some extra blankets. Owners were very responsive when contacted. Wells is a fun area to explore, especially if you’re new to Maine

4th of July weekend away

Visited the long weekend for the 4th of July for our first vacation away since the pandemic. Started with just myself and my boyfriend, added some friends for a few days, and then ended with ourselves and our 2 children. Weather did not cooperate, however, this was the perfect place and it didn't ruin our time. Cute beach condo, perfect location and plenty of space for all. Hosts were extremely responsive. We will be back.

Very Misleading - Disappointed

Upon arrival, it was clear that the photos and reviews shown online did not accurately reflect the space or condition of the property. There were no towels or hand towels, the closets were broken and full of miscellaneous items, it was dimly lit, and description of “porch”/outdoors area was very misleading. In reaching out to the property owners about these discrepancies, we were dismissed with no offer of resolution.

We are sorry for Emily’s disappointment in the property. After inspecting the property upon her departure it appears most of not all of this is untrue. The closets are not broken. The closets have a vacuum, step stool, and extra pillows for guests as well as a second air conditioner in the other closet and extra beach chairs. These are all conveniences for guests. There are dish towels in the cupboard as well in the kitchen. We have never received complaints about the lighting, however, are always looking for ways to improve and will look into adding light in some way. There is also a shared patio outside with outdoor seating. There seems to be nothing misleading in our description, just a matter of opinion. Also listed in our description and access instructions is that towels and linens are not provided. We are happy to provide them when guests forget or make special requests which we have done many times. Emily sent us a message stating that they had left the property. We did offer her an explanation. However we cannot fix things are not to her particular taste. We would have been happy to provide towels or linens if asked.
