Another great week at this cottage

Our second stay and it was just as delightful as our first! Cottage is so clean, so well appointed. Even small details like having plenty of hooks for wet towels makes this cottage a great place to stay. It’s a truly great property and the pool/community is wonderful.

Awesome stay!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! There was everything we need and even more. The cottage is so spacious! We loved to relax at the pool at the end of a warm beach day. Gisele was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect.

Beautiful cottage (like a little house) and very well appointed!

Really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space, fully stocked with everything you could ever need and amenities (pool, grounds, etc.) were just what the doctor ordered for our vacation! Owner was fantastic - very responsive.

Overall nice place to stay in regards to quietness of neighborhood, pool and rec room usage, kitchen amenities, washer/dryer. We really like the sun room which ended up being the kids main playroom. Only complaint was when we got there the floor was really dirty. I had to vacuum and sweep when we got there which was a bummer after a long day of driving.

When we texted with you throughout your visit, we were under the impression that everything was great and you, your husband and children were having a lovely stay, so we were surprised and very sorry to read about the floors in your review. This is certainly unusual for us as shown by so many reviews commenting on the cleanliness of the cottage, a very high priority for us. We will, however, closely evaluate this and conduct an extra inspection at the end of every cleaning.

Wonderful stay in Wells

This Summerscape cottage was a wonderful place for our family’s week in Southern Maine! The cottage is very clean, beautifully decorated, and so well stocked. The location is excellent - quiet but close to beaches, town centers, and other attractions. The host was communicative and helpful. We look forward to another visit and highly recommend to others.

Top Notch Stay!

Perfect getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house setup was perfect for our family of four, especially with two littles. The pool, hot tub, game room, and welcoming community members made our visit even more enjoyable. The owners were very responsive and checked in on us throughout our stay to ensure everything was going well. We loved it so much we've already made plans to return next summer!

Home away from home!!

Our family's experience at Summerscape #16 was an enjoyable and comfortable stay! We felt like it was a home away from home. It was easy to settle in right away and had everything we needed for our week-long vacation. Not only was the home well kept, modern etc. The community and grounds were very well maintained with a beautiful outdoor pool, hot tub and game room that our family enjoyed!! Looking forward to our next visit!!

Delightful Cottage

This cottage exceeded our expectations. The decor is so nicely done and it is as clean as the pictures portray. We’ve stayed at a few cottages in the area over the years and this was by far our favorite. It had everything our family of four could need. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, especially in the kitchen/dining area. Just a short walk to the pool. You can tell the community amenities are well maintained and everyone was very friendly. Would definitely return to this property.

Absolutely perfect!

The cottage was just as pictured. It was stocked with everything we could have ever needed. Super clean! Location is great. We were there on a quiet, chilly week but we were able to enjoy the pool, hot tub and game room in the complex. Gisele was in contact with us and I am sure would have assisted us with anything we would have needed. We are already talking about booking there again sometime soon!

We had a nice week here. The home has everything you could imagine needing! It is close to everything, nice pool/recreation area and the grill was very useful. Communication with the host was responsive and helpful. The only downside for us was the smell when we walked in the first day that lasted a few days. Thankfully it was nice outside and we were able to open all the windows. We shared our concerns and the host was responsive. To us it smelled a dog (and my allergies confirmed that night that it was) and there was a dog bed in the living room and dog toys outside. She said guests are not allowed animals but owners are but she didn’t think the owner had been there. It was our mistake to think no pets meant pet free. It is a beautiful home that is very well appointed in a fantastic community. Thank you!

Thank you Amy for your review. We are sorry to hear about your allergies. To our knowledge, there was no dog in the cottage. What you refer to as a dog bed is a bean bag for people, the toys are for the beach for children. We will research this further and remove all potential triggers, ie down pillows, wool rugs. Glad to hear that your experience otherwise was positive.

Fantastique!!!

Nous avons séjourné du 12 au 19 aout 2023. Un tres grand et tres luxueux chalet. Tout est la et meme plus (jeux pour les enfants tel Uno, DVD pour écouter un film, couverture plus chaude par temps froid, laveuse-sécheuse, une cuisine plus complete que la mienne) Les enfants ont adorés la piscine et la table de ping pong. A louer sans aucune crainte. Aucune difficulté a rejoindre la propriétaire qui était toujours a l'écoute de nos besoins. Tres gentille. Le chalet est munis d'une porte avec un code que la propriétaire nous envoie une semaine avant. Tres facile d'acces et tres tranquile comme endroit. C'est un 6 étoiles !
