Direkt am Strand! Besser geht es nicht! Drei-Zimmer-Einheit umfasst ein großes Familienzimmer und eine Küche mit Granit. Der Meister hat ein französisches Bett. Zwei weitere Schlafzimmer haben Doppelbetten und das Familienzimmer verfügt über ein ausziehbares Queensize-Schlafsofa. Die gesamte Einheit ist "sandfreundlich" mit Fliesen im gesamten! Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Wohnküche mit Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl einschließlich einer Mikrowelle. Es gibt ein neues, komplett gefliestes Badezimmer mit einer gefliesten Dusche. (Neu 2018) Das Gerät verfügt jetzt über eine zentrale Klimaanlage (Neu 2018) Die Terrasse mit Grill befindet sich direkt neben dem Eingang mit zusätzlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Familienzimmer verfügt über einen LED-TV, einen DVD-Player und WLAN. Der Master verfügt über einen zusätzlichen LED-32'-Fernseher. Das im Preis inbegriffene Parken für 1 Auto befindet sich direkt gegenüber der Seaside Cottages. Die Maximalbelegung beträgt 8 Erwachsene. Liegestühle und Sonnenschein inklusive! Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir keine Bettwäsche zur Verfügung stellen.

Can't beat walking out the door and being 30 feet from beach. Apartment was very clean comfortable. Grill was handy for steak and lobster dinners. Lobster pot also furnished. All the comforts of home! Planning on making this a yearly visit!

Our favorite summer tradition

We absolutely love staying at Marks beach property! Location cannot be beat and everything is so comfortable and clean. My kids have the best week staying on the beach and we cannot wait to book for next year. Perfect for a family. Highly recommend!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time in beautiful Wells. You absolutely can not beat the location… just steps to the beach and the space itself is bright and feels new. Highly recommend - Mark was a great host!

One of the greatest places to stay at wells

The place was a so nice and plenty of room for our 4 adults and 4 Children. The place was clean and well maintained. We would stay here again and we are hoping to next year! Well done Gallaghers!

Our favorite family beach spot

Excellent beach vacation! This was our 2nd year staying here and we continue to be impressed. Mark’s beach rental is such a gem- perfect for a family. The location cannot be beat( steps from the beach!) and the apartment itself is clean and comfortable. We will be back again for 2024! Thanks for the perfect stay!

Beach Wedding at Cottage

We had our wedding ceremony , honeymoon and pictures on the beach front of this beautiful cottage and along Wells Beach. Mark, his wife and Luna were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend!

Great wells rental!

We had a blast staying at this rental. The location and proximity to the beach was so convenient. It was clean and the mattresses were comfortable (that seemed difficult to find in our past rental experiences). Mark was very help and responsive to our questions during our stay. We hope to be back next year!

Best Basement Apartment You Will Ever Stay In

I wrote a review in Aug 2018 on this property and everything I wrote back then still applies. This is the best basement apartment ON the beach you will ever stay in. It is incredibly well designed and the owners are first class people.

We love it here!

This was the second year we’ve been able to stay here. We absolutely love it. We appreciate the convenience of getting to and from the beach so easily. The apartment is great, we especially love the AC and new washer/dryer. The beds are super comfortable (which is surprisingly hard to come by at a beach rental). Wells beach is beautiful and never felt crowded. Parking was simple, and directly across the street from the rental. Communication with the host was great, we appreciated their speedy responses with our questions. We are looking forward to returning next year!

Sea quest Basement

It was good except for the parking. Open spots in the driveway but not able to use is a little baffling. The washer dryer combo was helpful. The tv should have written instructions how to use but we were told to ‘look it up on the internet’. Proximity to the beach is excellent. The price for a week is very expensive.

Perfect location!

This was our second year that we rented this charming apartment.. We were delighted to find it had been beautifully updated. It is also sunny and bright which is not easy being a basement apartment. Just outside is a patio with a grill, table and chairs.. Best of all is being right on the beach! The whole family had a great time and we hope to come back again nexxt year!

FUN TIMES!

This was our fourth year we have rented this apartment. This property is in great condition and the location doesn't get any better since it is steps away from the beach. The owner is a great guy and if you have questions or issues, he responds quickly and takes care of any issues that may arise. We look forward to returning again next year!

What a great overall vacation in wells beach maine

We were met when we arrived by both Mark and Patty and quickly we felt at home. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy your family vacation. Location was perfect, 15 steps to the beach. Parking was accross the street, but very convenient and easy to get the vehicle when needed. The rooms were very good size, and plenty of storage throughout. Mark had purchased fuel for gas grill which made cooking outside a breeze. They also had went and purchased new beach chairs for us to us during our stay. Overall we were very pleased with all accommodations and would reccommend this location to others and would definately rent this location again next year. Thanks to both Mark and Patty's for their hospitality . It clearly made our summer vacation special.

We had a nice stay at Mark & Patty‘s place. The beds are comfortable and it was a surprise to have a washer dryer unit there. It was very helpful to have. We had our grandchildren and it was comfy with having three bedrooms and we ended up using the pullout couch too. It’s very convenient to be right around the house and the Beach is there. This is a basement apartment, which wasn’t too bad. There were a few windows so we didn’t seem that claustrophobic.. We enjoy Wells Beach. It’s nice family orientated area. Any questions were quickly answered. This unit does have your parking space down about three places across the street. It was slightly inconvenient, but really not so bad. We coordinated with the house behind us the day that we had to pack up and leave because we could not park in our driveway. That worked out good. Everyone was friendly and it was super great to have air-conditioning! Our own private walkway, which is directly next to Public Way, #10 Thank you again for beautiful place to stay For the week.

Positives and Negatives

Positives: Great location. Kitchen spacious and fully equipped Newly renovated. Vacuum cleaner supplied. Negatives: WiFi weak Parking rules stated that guest has one spot reserved in nearby motel. Yet, the driveway has room for 3 cars and was used by no one. Based on stated rules, my son had to rent an offsite space for $150. Only one means of egress. Storm door was ill fitting and slammed loudly when let go. When put on the bread selection the toaster only toasted one side of the bread. No direction as to what outside equipment is allowed to be used. (chairs, umbrellas, hot tub, kayaks) Light bulb in shower not working.

This was a bad rental, pictures are old and 'artfully' taken to misrepresent the property.

This rental was bad right from the start when we couldn't find the property because the pictures show a green house that appears to open to the beach. It's actually a dark blue that opens to the driveway and another building. When we got over the shock we entered the rental to a blast of hot air from the dehumidifiers which we were instructed to keep running. When we turned them off because we couldn't stand the heat it was so damp my family thought I had mopped the floor. Everyone had a cough by the end of the week that cleared up as soon as we left. We had no wifi after the first 2 days tho all of the rentals around us were fine. The owner was completely unresponsive said it had something to do with salt tho he had wifi in his house above us.We heard from area renters that this wasn't he first time the wifi was out in that unit. One of the tvs was internet only so no tv in the bedroom. The fire alarms kept going off causing several evacuations. A faulty detector but major disruption with children! One of the sofas in the pictures was not even present. The bathroom fan in the tiny bathroom didn't work causing the smoke detector right outside to go off. I would not recommend this rental to anyone. The owner did not seem to care about our issues. I requested at least a partial refund since several of our party had to leave because of the no internet but no response. I tried HomeAway resolution but there really is no recourse for this misrepresentation. Unless you can prove a material loss such as not being able to enter the property at all there is no recourse. Buyer beware!

Wonderful!

This was the perfect family beach vacation. The only detail that could have been better was only parking for one car. Luckily we were able to secure a spot in the same lot for the second car for an additional fee. Other than that this place was clean and only steps from the sand. We enjoyed many morning sunrises with our cups of coffee. Would love to stay again.

This is a Beach Front Basement Apartment. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the gardens are beautiful. The property is on the beach and its about 25 steps from the entry to the beach. The property has been further updated in 2018 to include tile bathroom including the shower, new outdoor living spaces and its now fully air conditioned for your comfort!
