Die Unterkunft liegt direkt gegenüber vom Kamaole Beach II. Kamaole Beach II ist einer der besten Strände in Maui mit wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen, Schnorcheln, Schwimmen, Sonnenbaden, Boogie-Boarding und Gezeitenpools. Großartig für Kinder.

Der Kühlschrank wurde kürzlich ersetzt und das Hauptbadezimmer wurde erneuert. Auch das Schlafsofa wurde kürzlich renoviert, ebenso wie die Matratzen für die Betten. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein Doppelbett.

Vom Maui Banyan erreichen Sie Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bequem zu Fuß. Wailea und Mekena liegen nur eine kurze Autofahrt nach Süden. Kihei liegt zentral in Maui.

Die Einheiten haben einen Blick auf das Meer von den Lanais (Balkon, insgesamt zwei Lanais). Dies ist eine sichere und freundliche Anlage mit überdachter Parkgarage. Der Komplex wurde von einem Feng-Shui-Meister entworfen und verfügt über einen offenen Grundriss, eine wunderschöne Anlage und ist komfortabel. Einer der schönsten Komplexe in Kihei. Die Acrylbilder wurden vom Eigentümer angefertigt.

When traveling as a family of four with two older kids that can’t share a bed, options are usually slim. We were really lucky to come across this condo. Not only did both kids have their own queen sized bed, but they had their own room and bathroom and no one had to sleep on a pull out couch. Situated convenient to many of my favorite spots- Maluaka beach, Makena landing, 808 deli, ululani’s kihei, etc. this was a wonderful landing pad for our trip.

Really well equipped. Very close to the pool and across the street from the beach. Everything within a couple of blocks. Restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores. Owner answered question very quickly. Second stay at this condo and would definitely book again if we return to Maui.

Home away from home

Excellent accommodations close to amenities. Simple yet functional. Had everything we needed from cookware to beach gear. everything worked as required and expected. Would keep this in our list for our next trip forsure. Communication was also great.

Great stay.

We had a good stay at this condo. The owners were very responsive and receptive. We weren’t expecting an high-end resort, but the price was great- location right by the beach, and it was clean. So it was great for our family. The couch in the front room folds out which was nice also. They also had extra chairs, boogie boards and sand toys left by others, so that was really great! Would stay again.

Great little place

This property was a nice little place for our family during our visit. It’s not the most up to date but it was mostly cosmetic things that would be similar to if I was at home too. No major issues. The AC worked great and it has plenty of room for us.

Great Place to Stay in Maui

We had a fabulous stay at this condo. The condo was clean and updated. The grounds of the condo were also well maintained. It was a great location, just a short walk to a good beach. My kids loved the pool which was also very close & convenient. We would definitely stay here again. It was on the 3rd floor and the elevator only went to the 2nd. It was fine for us though.

Great location, but needs a good cleaning!

Dated property and not very clean, but the location made up for that. Walking distance to some good restaurants and shopping. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, Tupperware, spices, etc. Beach items were also available to borrow. Multiple BBQ grills by the pool area were available to use. No central A/C, but each unit had a swamp cooler that kept the units cool enough. Fortunately, we didn't have the roach and ant problem discussed in previous reviews.

We really enjoyed our trip, thank you! The condo was perfect for our group of 7. Having a separate room and space for the grandparents was perfect. The unit was well cleaned and we really appreciated that. There were some beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, and cooler there which made it easy to enjoy the beach across the street. Sadly, the pool closest to our unit was under remodeling while we were there but that should be done the first part of November 2012. It wasn't too far to the other great pool area--the kids enjoyed that almost as much as the beach. Thanks again for the great place to stay on our Hawaiian vacation!

Location, location, location!

When we arrived at the condo the passcode we were given didn’t work. Luckily we arrived before 4:00 and the property manager office was open and we were given another passcode. There was no key for the safe, so we called/emailed them but never did receive a key. We were there for 2 weeks. The owners were very easy to deal with and were able to accommodate us with a late check out. The condo had everything we needed. Towels, bedding, kitchen utensils etc and also beach stuff.

I come annually and stayed last year at a different suite Maui Banyan. That condo was stellar. This one is old, run down, holes in the bedspread, kitchen sink where the tap/counter is collapsing, real soft floor near the sink, lanai doors barely open, closest door off tracks, bathrooms and old and dirty, no soap, laundry detergent, beach towels are ragged old rental towels, bed in second room is older than us and springs pop often. Two gals it was their first time to Maui and I was ashamed of the condo I had to show them.

spacious but dated

This property was able to accomodate 4 adults and 2 children with no difficulty. It is in a very good location, close to the beach and to retail. However, the property was dated. It required a good paint job, a good thorough cleaning and a repair of bathroom issues (sink, shower door). Requires much better kitchenware and cookware and utensils. Was unable to lock all the sliding doors as the locks did not function correctly. Had issues with the air conditioning in the second bedroom and the main air conditioner was very loud.

Unit in poor conditions.

The unit we stayed in was very dated, the countertop under the kitchen tap was rotten with holes between sink and tap. The curtains were stained and dirty, very dusty and dirty, air conditioner didn’t work properly, the fridge had sticky tape all over the door, smelled old. Fire rescue, police and ambulance were there 3 different times. For the price we paid should have been in better conditions. The ground maintenance crew were very respectful. The evening security guy was very nice and funny, the grand kids enjoyed the pool a lot. The location to the beach was great.

Short walk to the beach & condo is outdated

Condo is out dated, cabinets were old, furniture was old & not comfortable including the beds, the worst parts were having roaches, & no they were not the tropical roaches, it was bad that they were found in freezer & fridge. Contacted the management, Michelle with AA oceanfront was helpful , she herself brought over some traps for the roaches & the big red fire ants , she attempted to get out pest control but they were to come the day before I was to check out, so I passed. No real privacy for the main bedroom. The washer got stuck & wouldn’t open the day I was to check out again Michelle was helpful and let us stay some time after our check out time.

Great Location, and all you need for a good Maui vacation

This condo has everything you need for your stay in Maui. Great location. Great pool area. Close to many beaches, restaurants and shops. It could definitely use some renos/maintenance in the kitchen. The faucet at the kitchen sink is hard to control and blasts water everywhere, which has caused part of the countertop to rot away. Their were plenty of towels for our family of 5. We really liked having a washer and dryer in our room. The air conditioner worked fine. Their were plenty of beach chairs and some beach toys. A little cooler would have been nice, but they did have ice packs in the freezer. The mattress on the sofa bed is not very comfortable, but their was a foam mattress in the closet that we used to give the sofa bed some extra support. The code that was supplied to get into the condo did not work, we arrived late (10:00 pm), so we called the property managements after hours line and they were able to get a new code for us. It took them a few tries but we finally got in. Also the pool code that was supplied was wrong. But we were able to get the new code from the front desk easily. Their was plenty of room for parking, but the stalls are quite tight. Overall we had a great stay. We got this condo for a great price, which allowed our family of 5 to be in Maui, so we were easily able to overlook the little flaws. Would stay again.

Maui Banyan 2 Bedroom unit

Unable to access the unit due to wrong door code. Took an hour to find someone to contact AA oceanfront to get a new code. This was at 10PM at night. Exhausted after travelling all day. We also had 3 issues with entry door throughout our stay where door would not open. Unit was not at all what we expected. Towels dirty, no A/C, no water in bathroom sink. Shower constant drip and hard to turn on. Counter at kitchen sink rotting away, floor by dishwasher rotting. Curtains very dirty. Screen door on bedroom lanai would not open, when service guy came to fix it fell apart. So no screen for 3 weeks. Phone in unit not working which resulted in using my mobile phone to contact AA oceanfront. Which resulted in an additional charge on my bill of $49.70. Got some of these issues fixed but took over 3 weeks. The most important was water in bathrooms and they got fixed 2 days before we left. We would not recommend renting this unit in the state it is in.

Morning: A run along the shore (or a lazy sleep-in), then coffee and breakfast on the lanai.

Mid-day: Crossing the street to claim our spot on Kamaole II, then cooling off with a shower and a dip in the pool.

Afternoon: Exploring—whether it's upcountry, the road to Hana, or the shops in Kihei.

Evening: Sunset at the beach, followed by a poolside BBQ or a night out at a Wailea restaurant.

Inside, the open floor plan of our unit is both spacious and inviting, creating a comfortable retreat after a day of adventure. Outside our door, the complex itself is a sanctuary—beautifully landscaped, private, and meticulously maintained, making it one of Kihei's most desirable properties.

And then there's the location. Being directly across from Kam II beach is a dream. We love the easy stroll to cafes and shops, and having incredible spots like Big Beach—a personal favorite—just a short drive away. For us, it’s the perfect blend of convenience and paradise.
