Dieses komfortable, klimatisierte Juwel, das wir River Base Camp nennen, befindet sich im Stadtteil The Village von Jersey City, direkt gegenüber dem Hudson River von New York City. Bis zum Bahnhof Grove Street PATH sind es 7 Minuten zu Fuß. Von dort gelangen Sie umgehend nach New York City, zum Flughafen Newark, nach Hoboken usw.

Das River Base Camp ist wunderschön und das Badezimmer und die Küche wurden 2019 komplett renoviert. Die Sauberkeit ist uns sehr wichtig und um einen unserer Bewertungen zu zitieren, ist unsere Wohnung außergewöhnlich sauber.

Feinschmecker werden die Nachbarschaft lieben, da es mehrere beliebte Restaurants gibt, die alle nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt sind. Sie können auch leicht an die Küste gelangen und einen spektakulären Blick auf Manhattan genießen oder den 3,2 km entfernten Liberty State Park besuchen und eine kurze Bootsfahrt zur Freiheitsstatue unternehmen.

Dieses Apartment befindet sich auf der unteren Ebene eines Stadthauses und ist ein eigenständiges Apartment mit einem eigenen Eingang

Great stay in Jersey City.

A minor issue at check in was quickly remedied. Having a dedicated parking space was a big selling point. We would definitely stay here again.

We wanted River Base Camp to offer comfort and a feeling of being in a home away from home with all its amenities, fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, and family board games. Jersey City is a vibrant and internationally diverse area with easy and quick access to New York City. Make sure that you enjoy the cafes/bakeries, and creative food spaces all a walking distance from River Base Camp. The farmers market in the summer is a real treat.

Jersey City hideaway

This basement apartment is as described in the VRBO listing and is modernly decorated. The location is very convenient and within walking distance to most of Jersey City. We felt safe in this area. Owners were extremely communicative and provided a lot of extra information regarding the surrounding neighborhood (restaurant recommendations, coffee shops, shopping district,etc). There were some additional toiletries available, which was a nice touch. There is a parking space issue that needs resolved asap, and the owners did apologize and attempt to correct the issue quickly. It was not resolved by the time of my check out, but owners assured me that they would be looking into the issue so that it didn't happen again. A couple other minor issues that were noted and mentioned to the owner (number of washcloths, loose plug in master bedroom) but overall we had a pleasant stay and would rent again if given the opportunity.

Agréble séjour

Bel appartement, bien agencé, bien équipé et bien placé pour découvrir New York. Je recommande cet appartement. Séjour à 5 (2 adultes + 3 enfants/ados) très agréable. Susan est très disponible depuis l'application. Le quartier est très agréable et plus calme que Manhattan ce qui est appréciable après une journée sur new York. L'accès à la statue de la Liberté est très pratique depuis le New Jersey en ferry et moins bondé que depuis Manhattan. Accès très simple à Manhattan avec le Path. Seul bémol, l'isolation avec les voisins du dessus, sinon rien à dire.

Excellent cozy place

Very clean and thoughtful property. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Feels cosy. Susan was excellent at getting back to us quickly. Area was super-on the very edge of the gentrification in jersey city.Close to grove street path station. Great restaurants close by. Hamilton park was a 10 minute walk and great for kids. Only negative for us ** with two small kids under two is that the noise from the upstairs rental is loud when occupied. Susan quickly asked the occupants to tone down the noise during the quiet hours. But it is something to be cognizant of if you require quiet. In comparison street noise was totally fine. I hate to be negative in reviews but this needs to be said. Someone in a previous review alluded to the noise. In our opinion it was somewhat more than a few footsteps upstairs. We stayed for a week. We had people upstairs at the start of our trip and at the end. But having rented lots of places before I’d place a high degree of satisfaction in the way Susan handled the situation. Thank you.

Clean and Convenient

This is one of the cleanest rentals I have ever used. There are also a lot of conveniences: full nicely appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, super clean bathroom with a few things you might have forgotten during your travels, lots of sleeping options with super soft sheets. The location is just blocks from the best bagels, coffee, restaurants, ice cream, drug store, PATH train into Manhattan. Though these things are close it it still quiet. Susan is definitely the BEST host I've had. She goes above and beyond to be sure you have a great time. She sent a list of her favorite places and told us how to get around easily, and is quick to respond should you have any questions I hope to get a chance to stay at one of her properties again next time I'm in town!

Great location in Jersey City!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this great location in Jersey City! The unit was very clean and quiet, with a well-appointed kitchen, a comfortable queen bed (with sofa beds if needed), along with good WiFi and a nice size TV with Netflix, YouTube TV, etc. NJ PATH transit station “Grove Street” is just 4 blocks away. Transportation to NYC was very easy, and owner Susan is super helpful. This Jersey City neighborhood is fun and vibrant, with many restaurants, shops, etc. We would stay here again.

Awesome place.

The property was well maintained and clean. The area itself is very vibrant with very cool bars and restaurants along Newark. Susan was a very good host. She gives a very detailed instruction and suggestions that will make your stay very cozy. The availability of the Path Cards and the property's close proximity to Grove Street station made our travel to New York City very convenient. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect getaway

Susan’s property was absolutely perfect for our party of five while visiting New Jersey. It had everything we could have wanted/needed and it was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect - we will return!

The place was spacious and clean, and felt light and bright, especially for a basement apt. Nice touches included tea, coffee and some bottled water, shampoo and conditioner and even laundry soap and sandwich baggies! The neighborhood was very walkable and we enjoyed breakfast nearby every day. It was quiet (other than occasional footsteps of people above us) and gave us great access to the big city as well as Hoboken. We really enjoyed this part of Jersey City!

Great place for a great price!

Susan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and was prompt when communicating with us. This beautiful home was very clean and the perfect size for our family of 5. It was easy to travel to Manhattan each day with the PATH passes. The only downside to the location was that it felt a bit sketchy at night while walking home late from the train. If you have kids, I would plan on returning from Manhattan a bit early.

Great place and close to NYC

This was a great place to stay in for our week long visit to NYC. The basement apartment is clean and modern. The kitchen is well stocked with basic cookware and utensils. Susan was an attentive and informative host and sent us good recommendations for local food places in the area.

Great place to stay!

We planned a little 3 day family food tour in NYC along with celebrating my husband's and I anniversary with our 3 children. I looked into Downtown JC as I have always wanted us to visit the area and never had the chance to. I was nervous using VRBO as it was my first time, but I took a leap of faith and went with RBC. The reviews on cleanliness was hard to pass up as my son has severe food and environmental allergies. I can assure you, it did not disappoint! Pride of ownership is in the home. Susan's home was neat, exceptionally clean and had amenities such as washer and dryer, kitchen, dining, parking, cable, Netflix and board games. The bed and fold out sleepers were surprisingly very comfortable. There was also a generous supply of kitchen and bathroom essentials. Location wise, RBC is within walking distance to all the local restaurants and cafes! We loved the culturally vibrant and urban atmosphere of Downtown JC. If you plan on going to Manhattan, it took us about 30 min to get there from RBC (depending on traffic). There is a $15 Holland Tunnel toll so be sure to have cash on hand. Susan was a wonderful host. She was detailed and informative. She attended to our questions and concerns in a prompt and timely manner. She was also professional and greeted us with the warmest of hospitality. I highly recommend her home, especially families! We would definitely stay at RBC again in the future.

Nice comfortable apartment in a great little neighborhood.

Susan's place is a great place to stay outside of NYC. It is comfortable, very clean, great WiFi, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioner and TV. The PATH train to NYC is a 10 minute walk so you can park your car in the on-site parking lot at the apartment and use the train to easily commute into Manhattan (or further). The neighborhood is clean and vibrant, filled with bakeries, restaurants, and any kind of service you would need. We found it a perfect be place to stay away from the rush and bustle of their big neighbor. We would recommend staying here. It was a very good value.

Appartement neuf avec tout le confort nécessaire et décoré avec gout. Nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants, le logement était parfait pour nous. Susan est une hôte qui a pris soin de nous et très réactive afin que nos vacances se passent bien. Le quartier est assez animé avec des commerces et la gare à 8 minutes à pied. Juste un petit bémol concernant l'isolation du plafond ou l'on entend les voisins du dessus. Je recommande cette adresse sans hésitation! Laurence

Nous vous avons accueilli avec plaisir et nous sommes impatients de le faire à nouveau Lors de la mise en place du River Base Camp, nous voulions un espace où les clients puissent se détendre, se détendre et cuisiner. De plus, Jersey City a beaucoup à offrir: 1) Prenez un ferry depuis le quai du Liberty State Park vers la Statue of Liberty et Ellis Island. 2) Liberty Science Center se trouve à 10 minutes de route du camp de base de la rivière. 3) Nous sommes proches de beaux espaces verts - Hamilton Park, Van Vorst Park et Liberty Park - où les enfants peuvent gambader et jouer, où vous pouvez marcher, courir et faire du vélo, faire un pique-nique et admirer la ligne d'horizon de Manhattan. 4) Le quartier de Newport - à un arrêt de la station Grove PATH - vous propose un centre commercial, de grands magasins et un magnifique passage piétonnier au bord de l’eau.

Super Clean and convenient!!

River Base Camp is comfortable and most important for us everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and had coffee, tea, water, and kid-friendly utensils. My husband had some meetings in the city and he found the path train really easy to use. We hung out at the Van Vorst Park, which is nearby and I highly recommend for families with park age kids. We had a really great experience in the apartment and neighborhood, and we would definitely like to stay there again. المكان نظيف جدا و منظم وبه كل الاشياء التي تحتاجها عائله بها اطفال الموقع قريب من اماكن كثيره و اهمها محطة القطار التي تسهل الوصول لاماكن مختلفه بالمدينه العقار ايضا له مكان خاص للسياره وهي ميزه كبيره في هذه المنطقه بالتاكيد سوف ناجر هذا المكان مره اخري عند كل زيارتنا للمدينه

River Base Camp is located in downtown Jersey City making it walkable to stores, cafes, restaurants, and parks, with 24 hours access to New York City/Manhattan. We had families in mind as we set up this property ensuring that there was a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, and comfortable beds to rest up after an adventure filled day. So glad that you got to experience Van Vorst Park - family friendly with plenty of play spaces. On your next visit I encourage you to check out Hamilton Park where, in summer, the kids will be able to enjoy the splash zone.

It is in a historic neighborhood with mom and pop restaurants and is a 7 minute walk to the PATH train that gets you to NYC in 1 or 2 stops or to Newark Airport. The attached parking space is super convenient if you have a car.
