Great house, right on the beach

We loved our stay at this home. Clean, well presented and fully equipped and good location. It was wonderful to walk straight from the house onto the beach.The large deck at the rear of the house was an amazing spot to enjoy the views of the lagoon, ocean and sunsets, and we loved Leo, the friendly cat.Terry was fantastic to deal with, communication was awesome, and he provided some very useful information for the house and our stay in Rarotonga. Awesome house, setting and location

Had an amazing time, the house was perfect and had everything we needed plus more. Couldn't have suited us better. House has a beautiful view of the white sand and reef, private picnic table on the beach, nicely set back from the main road so it feel like you're in your own piece of paradise!

Stay in paradise

This was a 50th wedding gift to ourselves. Took our daughter and 2 children 7 and 9 with us. The beach in front was wide and the sea 'pool' perfect for snorkeling and swimming. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, dairies and the great marine information center next door. Children loved it. Being on the west coast was sheltered from wind.The house had everything needed, plenty of towels and bedding. Kimmi was a great welcome hostess . Thank you for making our dreams come true.

Paradise - We will be back!

What a wonderful, beautiful place to stay.The home was more than we expected, the cleanliness was 110%, the view, stunning! Snorkling out the front of the house was amzing with all the sealife and beautiful fish. Watching the sunsets fron the deck were breath taking. The cats Leo and Stewie, super cute and friendly. I cant wait to return to Rarotonga and Nikis beach house.

Magic time

We were absolutely delighted with our stay your wonderful little cottage on the beachfront. Our grandsons charged down to the beach every day and played for hours in the ocean, and we could just sit on the veranda having our cuppa and reading our books, whilst keeping an eye on them. The house contained everything we needed (plus more) every time we went to use a particular item. ! there it was at our fingertips. Truly amazing.!. Towels, ! what a bonus with two very active boys. I could go on and on. Needless to say, hopefully we will return one day. Thanks to your caring cleaning ladies.

Tranquil and Peaceful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nov. 24 for one week. We are four friends in our 50s. We felt right at home and found everything from a lighter to a pack of cards even a hot water bottle when I had an issue with my back. There were tools, cleaners just about everything you could imagine. The two cats, Stewie and Leo were no problem and were very affectionate. We will even miss them! My husband fished with some locals at the pier just down the beach. We were very sad when we had to leave this wonderful beach house.

We recently spent 8 unforgettable nights at this beachfront house in the Cook Islands, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views, beautiful sunsets, and incredible whale-watching experiences right off the deck. The direct beach access from the balcony allowed us to step straight from the house onto the sand, adding an extra level of magic to our stay. Terry, the owner, was incredibly helpful and attentive, sharing detailed information about the local sights, recreation options, and all the amenities in the house. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, with an abundance of towels, cutlery, and every kitchen item we could ask for. We even had the delightful company of two incredibly friendly cats, Stewie and Leo, who became an endearing part of our experience. Even those in our group who aren’t typically “cat people” found themselves charmed by these two and happily welcomed them for a scratch or two on their laps. We can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in paradise. A huge thanks to Terry for making our first visit to the Cook Islands so memorable, this is a trip we’ll cherish forever!

This property we cannot fault, everything about it was great, firstly Terry was the best host to deal with from the get go, the location superb, house well equipped, clean and handy to everything and the cats were gorgeous. picture perfect getaway

My friends and I stayed at Niki's Beach House for a week and it was fabulous. Large 3 bedroom home with everything you could possibly need. Well located on sunset side of the island, we spent hours just sitting on the deck watching whales on their migration go passed within 100m of the beach , incredible. Private and generally quiet. Shallow swimming out the front with an rea cleared from rocks to sit in. An easy walk to Castaway resort and beach bar. Highly recommended

Absolutely wonderful

Nikki’s beach house was perfect for our winter getaway. Overlooking the lagoon, everything you need including loads of beach towels and well appointed kitchen. Debbie dropped by to make sure we were comfortable and brought loads of bananas. Walking distance to several restaurants and the best mango smoothie at the end of the drive. Bus stops right outside the door so you really wouldn’t need to hire a car. Evening bonfire on the beach watching the sunset. Soooo relaxing.

Excellent location, excellent host.

Terry was very prompt and accommodating. We loved our stay there and would totally book it again. Terry organised ice in the freezer, drinking water, tea, coffee, milk which made it so easy when we arrived. We used the fire pit twice. I suggest get reef shoes as there’s a lot of coral (like most places around the island). We fed the cats every day, they knew not to come inside, very well trained. Everything was great. Thanks Terry for having us.

Beautiful and amazing

The house was lovely and comfortable; we walked down to the beach for a walk every morning. We could see humpback whales from the porch. The location is terrific, close to amazing snorkel spots and great restaurants. The home's outdoor cats were a great favorite of my daughter! The local property manager dropped by and we had a lovely brief visit with her. We felt right at home. Should we ever find ourselves visiting Rarotonga again, we would absolutely enjoy revisiting this house.

Beautiful veiws from the deck, easy to keep an eye on kids. Good Shallow lagoon for the kids to swim in also. Perfect house for carefree holiday. Everythings there including insect screens and dishwasher.

Professionals living in Vancouver, B.C. for past ~30 years. In Canada have previously lived in Labrador, Ontario and Manitoba and in the U.S. in Los Angeles.

We had been traveling to Rarotonga once or twice a year for 32 years, variously renting around the island and ultimately settled on staying at this gorgeous Lockwood house 8 years ago. The evening sunsets, beautiful beach and warm lagoon hooked us and we purchased the property in 2014. Since then we have upgraded the living, dining and bedrooms as well as new kitchen appliances and fridge.
