Truly cozy cottage fit for family vacation!

Great location with public beach access less than a block away. Nice cottage with all the provisions that you need to stay with a family and cook great dinners, including a pot for a lobster boil.

Perfect location. Well maintained property. Very clean. Quiet street very close to beach. Host is very friendly and supplied things that are not normally supplied ... like TP, napkins, ketchup, mustard and spices. Also has a shed with beach chairs and bikes. Just a wonderful vacation.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the “Cozy Cottage” and it exceeded all expectations. Amazing stay best VRBO rental.

The Cozy Cottage has it all! We do a lot of vrbo rentals and this one by far was the best. Beautiful location, water views, nice walkable beaches. Perfect place to let kids rides bikes to explore the island. Beth has thought of everything to make a family comfortable. We brought our boat up for the week and it was a great place to explore the vineyard, cuttyhunk, and other great locations. We have already talked about coming back talkbackbackybrou

Feels like home

We are back again to Beth’s wonderful oasis. We immediately relax upon entering this adorable home. It is pure comfort. Everything we could ever need and more. Spotless throughout. Beth even left fresh flowers for our arrival. The loft was a special place this visit for us to huddle up and read. Communication with Beth is always amazing and her personal notes are so thoughtful. We just love everything about our stays.

Truth in advertising!

The cozy cottage was exactly that, plus more! The house was cheerful and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, two nice bicycles to ride around the island, clean gas grill in the backyard with tables and chairs, etc. Enjoyed watching the purple and gold finches coming and going from the feeders, and our dog Ginger kept an eye on the bunnies! Beth was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process and West Island is a hidden gem. Highly recommended.

Well-equipped cottage on a quaint New England island

Cottage was clean and had everything that you could ever need. Owner Beth was friendly and available. The best part of this rental is location. West Isle, part of the town of Fairhaven, Mass., is just beautiful. Maybe 7 or so residential streets on one half, undeveloped land and beach on the other. No commercial properties at all. Town beach was beautiful with plenty of parking. Town is only a 10 minute drive and the cape and Newport, RI are both less than an hour drive. Great place, loved it!

Beautiful, warm home

This is our second time staying here and it was as wonderful as the first trip. Beth is so wonderful and her home is warm and comfortable. Cozy but beachy

We had a very nice stay in this classic beach cottage, which has beautiful views and outdoor space, and a perfect location near the wonderful town beach, plus a short walk to a pretty little beach on the bay side. The indoor space is not configured too well for extra guests, so no more than three adults total. Otherwise, cute and comfortable and with an amazingly well-equipped kitchen!

West Island gem

What an incredible week I just had at the cozy cottage on West Island. It had been my fourth property renting on the island and it reminded me of my family‘s cottage in Onset pier is ago but with all the modern amenities. From the well-stocked kitchen to the outdoor shower and the beautiful sleeping porch I couldn’t have asked for more. There was also a beach cart beach chairs bikes and kayaks to use which was awesome. The beds were comfortable there were plenty of towels and beach towels and kitchen supplies. There were even condiments and coffee for the Keurig. The owner even left me a beautiful bouquet of her hydrangeas from her yard which was so very special. Being able to have my dog with me Was such a plus because she is so friendly and loves to swim. Thank you Beth and I will be sure to look at your calendar because I will definitely be back either this fall or or next summer.

Comfortable, relaxing, everything we needed and more

We stayed at Beth’s amazing home while visiting family for spring break. It really feels like a home. It was so comfortable and relaxing. The porch was delightful with such a beautiful view. My son loved the loft. We spent a lot of time playing in the yard and on the beach. Beth has everything you could possibly need. Everything was extremely clean and organized. Beth was so responsive prior to our stay and even checked in with me during our stay to see if we needed anything. We hope to stay here again during future visits. Thank you, Beth!

Perfect Week

I had a lovely time at Beth’s cottage. The location is fantastic; the beach is beautiful, the kayak was a blast and the cottage is fabulous. She had everything you could possibly ever need in the kitchen. And how much do we love an outdoor shower? Quite a lot. She also has bikes, shuffleboard and the most comfortable couches. Sitting on the front porch drinking coffee with the sea breeze coming in is so relaxing. Book now and enjoy your moment of zen.

Lovely cottage!

What can I say about this beautiful cottage that hasn't already been said?! The host provides everything from a cooler to take to the beach to plastic baggies and everything in between. The cottage is cozy, clean, and welcoming. I slept on the day bed in the patio because the breeze coming in through the windows and the views were so comfortable and relaxing. The island itself is amazing. Every day my family, our dog, and I would walked to the private beach. Absolutely gorgeous. Every afternoon we took a hike in the natural preservation to the other side. I could have sat on the sand of the natural beaches on the other side of the island all day! I definitely want to go back because there is just so much we didn't get to see. I loved this house!!

Great place, great host, great family vacation!

This was out third visit to "Beth's house," as our kids call it, and it was everything we expected and more! West Island is truly a hidden gem, the best beaches I've been to in Massachusetts, and just down the street, without the crowds of the Cape. Our family loves visiting the Cozy Cottage, it's so lovingly maintained and well stocked. Between the kitchen full of dishes and the dresser full of toys and games we had everything we needed and then some. Beth does whatever she can to make sure we enjoy our stay. We can't wait to go back!

Cozy Retreat

Loved our stay at this cozy, inviting cottage with water views. Kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels and sheets. The cheerful yard was brimming with flowers and birds. Short walk to the beach. so peaceful and private. Would return in the future for a visit.
