First Floor Coastal Village Retreat - 8 min walk to the beach

Enjoy a relaxing stay in the heart of Mattapoisett Village at our charming, clean, first floor residence. Filled with natural light, thoughtful amenities, and classic New England character. This is the perfect place for slow mornings, beach days, and peaceful evenings.

The sunroom is one of our favorite spaces. It's great for enjoying morning coffee/tea, reading, or good conversation. The spacious kitchen is well equipped for preparing family meals... though several restaurants are a short walk away when you don't feel like cooking. The dining table comfortably seats 4, but extra chairs are available for gathering together.

Enjoy a grassy yard, beach chairs (3) and towels, pickleball equipment, bocce set, and large smart TV for movie nights.

The town beach, wharf and inter-town bike path are all an easy 8-12 minute walk from the house. Ned's Point Lighthouse is a 2.8 mile round trip and an excellent destination for a leisurely hour long walk. New Bedford's Seastreak Ferry Terminal, where ferry service to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard is available, is a 15 minute drive. Alternatively, you can ride to the ferry via the bike path. Tennis and pickle ball courts are also just down the street, about a 3-4 minute walk.

Exterior facing security cameras are installed on the front and sides of the property for permanent residents upstairs in a separate unit. There are no security cameras or recording devices inside guest access areas.
