Sunflower Cottage ist eine von zwei Ferienwohnungen auf dem Grundstück von 4. 6 Hektar (siehe Lilac House). Es ist über die Straße von einem großen Sandstrand mit roped Badebereich entfernt. Das Deck der Sunflower Cottage verfügt über eine sehr entspannende Blick auf die weitläufige Anlage. Die Gartenmöbeln, Grill und private Feuerstelle ist bereit für Ihren Genuss. Mit 4. 6 Hektar gibt es viel Platz für die Kinder, um zu spielen und unseren Spielebereich zu genießen, wo Sie Hufeisen, Tischtennis und vieles mehr finden. Das Ferienhaus verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, ein Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett. Der andere hat ein Doppelbett. Es gibt auch einen einzigen ausziehbaren Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer. Das Ferienhaus ist gut ausgestattet mit Waschmaschine, Trockner, Mikrowelle, Herd, Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine. Handtücher und Küchenwäsche sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Kostenloses WLAN und Sat-TV.

Great deal for my family of 6 to stay. Communication with Sandra was very quick and responsive. Great location. The property is beautiful and loved seeing the deer every dayThe washroom was kind of gross, drain issues and water damage everywhere. Old building and shared the place with some rodents. The A/C hose was held together with tape and frequently came undone. I guess you get what you pay for!

We also appreciate your kind words about our quick communication.However, we are deeply sorry that the property’s condition fell short of expectations. Cleanliness and maintenance are top priorities for us, and we take your comments very seriously. Yes, this cabin is old and fits the rustic description. We do appreciate hearing of any maintenance issues such as a clogged drain or with the a/c so we can address while you are here. Both were spotted by our cleaner and have been resolved. Unfortunately, as the property is on acreage, if a door or screen is left open a small critter may explore. We have investigated and whatever you may have seen, didn’t stay. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome your family back in the future!

Not the fanciest place, but worked great for our needs. Super nice having a buoy to moor our boat to. Lots of room for our dog and for guests to visit.

Excellent July long weekend

Lovely few days by the lake

We stayed a few nights on our way to the coast and had a great stay. Exactly what we expected based on the pictures and listed amenities, rustic but clean with beautiful grounds and very nice lake access a short walk away. It was perfect for us and our pets :)

Location was great, staff friendly and very helpful. Sunflower cabin needs to be updated a bit. Lake was beautiful as expected. Went to see a couple wineries and explored surrounding communities. Saw a local band perform at a pub, great food.

Awesome lication

A humble place but everything we needed. The best was proximity to the awesome beach, water was great. Wi-fi a little slow but perfect for disconnecting from the world. We really enjoyed the yard for kids to run around. Will def come back.

Beautiful Getaway

This quaint little house was perfectly set in a wonderful location. My kids and I enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing week and would definitely go back. The lake is walking distance and store for ice cream short walk. Was a wonderful way to recharge. Our hosts were kind, helpful and attentive. Thank you!!

This place is located in a perfect place to get to the beach, store, boat rentals and scotch creek isn’t far. We walked to all of them except scotch creek. The actual living quarters is small inside. Looks to be an old mobile home that the livingroom was added as an addition. The home is placed in a field that is well maintained but expect a mouse or 2 that may get in to your place. You have to bring all your own stuff as well. There are no beach towels, no coffee filters, sugar or ketchup of that type. You gotta pay 5 per bag of garbage by taking it to the local Ross Creek Store. There aren’t screens on the windows but they all open nicely to let the breeze come in at night. My favourite was the deck. It has a little bbq that needs a new lid but it’s clean and functional. We sat out there and laughed lots although encompassed by smoke from the wild fires. Although I felt the place could use some extra amenities like coffee filters and beach towels, it was a decent place. The beds were comfortable and the shower is excellent. You can wash your clothes if needed and the livingroom/dining room is big enough for 6 people to have a great vacation together. The place is also extremely clean PS… throw the futon that is in the livingroom into the garbage. It’s unusable. Try laying on it yourself. You’ll see. Get rid of it and don’t include this to be a sleep option cause it’s not. Thank you for the great stay

Thank you for taking the time to review our rustic cottage. I’m glad you enjoyed the cottage with its peaceful deck. I hope you were able to watch the deer with her new fawn. Our guests have been enjoying the many photo opportunities. With 6 people in the cottage it may seem small but it’s actually approximately 1000 sq ft. Perhaps you didn’t have chance to read our Information Package I sent you prior to your arrival. Coffee filter were provided in the basket above the coffee maker. Everything wad listed in it…coffee filters, s and p, paper towel, tp, tin foil, Saran Wrap, dish soap, hand soap etc. a starter package for you to begin your holiday with. It would not be safe for us to supply the food items you mentioned as we can’t control how others will use them. You are confused about the screens as all our windows and doors have screens. If you leave doors open, you are opening the home up to mice. We supply all bathroom linens, kitchen linens and bed linens. As per the information Package, we ask that you bring your own beach towels, beach blankets and beach chairs. I’m sorry you did not find the futon comfortable with its double mattress. I guess that is a personal choice. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. Stay safe. ❤️

Greeted by resident deer when we arrived, very calm and peaceful setting. Beach was right across from us. We rented a kayak one day from local shop 5 minutes away. Propane BBQ on deck with full tank to cook our fave summer eats.

Spacious cottage, lovely stay

The *only* glitch was that we didn't get an email with directions to the property from the host, and the pin on Google maps didn't take us to the right address. However, we got it worked out. The cottage was roomy and it was easy to get to nearby parks, hikes, and the winery😉. A lovely stay!

This VRBO was last minute booking and how lucky I was to get this! Spent the week working in Celista, a short drive, and couldn't wait to get back to this cottage and relax at the end of each cooler Fall day around the fireplace!!! What great hosts! Sandra and Dave were always available if I needed anything and the cozy comfort was so very appreciated. It was just myself so it felt really big! This place could easily have accomodated a group of 6 or more. Everything was perfect! There is a Market Store in throwing distance which offered a nice selection of hot food, gas and coffee in the am if I didn't make it at the cottage. Top shelf this place...10 out of 10.

Good place for our group

My rating on this property is largely based on price If you are looking for the Ritz this is not the place for you but if you want a nice clean facility with a few quirks then I recommend this place. We had lots of room for our group of five adults and all things we wanted to do were mostly with in 15 minutes We are definitely thinking of going back next year

Cabin

The stay was wonderful. Lots of room for my son, 18 month old, to run around and to have lots of his toys to play with. Sandra and Dave were great hosts who were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Just suggest bringing a foam roll out for the beds... they were rather uncomfortable lol

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us! The cottage has four beds in total all in like new condition from medium soft to firm.
