We would like readers to know that we take great pride in our property and we care greatly about our guests' comfort. We would not allow anyone to stay in a dirty, bug-infested, cluttered home. We guarantee that our property will be clean down to the smallest detail and that we will do our utmost to keep you comfortable, or we will return your payment in full. Please note that there are no roaches in our area; flies and spiders will enter if a guest leaves doors open for extended periods of time; the roosters do not crow at night; the chickens do not have access to any of the private cottage grounds; all driveways and gardens are cleaned and maintained regularly by the gardener; and the cottage was the original home on the property, built with an attached garage that contains supplies for guests' needs. The guest who wrote this review threatened to malign us after we requested that she correct problems that she caused through her negligence. She arrived with two large dogs that she promised were house trained and well behaved. During her stay the guest communicated that she was enjoying herself and loved the decor and cleanliness as well as the amenities. After the guest left, our housekeeper reported egregious damage caused by the two dogs and we contacted the guest to ask that she take responsibility for it. The guest denied any responsibility, threatened to take legal action for absurd reasons, and fabricated this account.
