Dieses malerische Naturlandhaus ist der ideale Ort für Ihren Familienurlaub oder schnell Wochenende! Das Hotel liegt im Herzen der Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge macht The Rookery ein Paradies für Naturliebhaber. Der Komplex verfügt über 2 Pools und ein Kinder ist nur wenige Minuten von den weißen Sandstränden des Golfs!

Diese drei Schlafzimmer / zwei Bad-Einheit bietet viel Platz für Ihren Urlaub. Die große Küche ist mit allen Kochgeschirr für Mittag- oder Abendessen benötigt bestückt. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein Sofa, einen Flachbild-Fernseher und DVD-Player. Der Meister hat König Betten, Flachbild-TV und eigenem Bad. Das zweite Schlafzimmer bietet auch ein Kingsize-Bett, während das dritte Schlafzimmer ("Kids Nook") mit zwei großen Betten und Etagenbetten ausgestattet ist - für 6 Personen. Beide Gästezimmer teilen sich ein Bad.

Property was ready by the 4pm check in time and everything was just as pictured. Very clean and the shower on the deck was extremely handy after long days in the sand. We love staying at the Rookery III and can’t wait to return to the FT Morgan area.

Very nice. Kids loved all the beach toys and used your beach chairs. Would love to find out where they got those cool tall Adirondack chairs on the deck. I found some real similar ones on amazon. Only thing I can think of to improve is get a new outdoor grille. Would have loved to grill some fresh fish. Thanks for having us!

Property is very nice. Just like the pictures. Really could use dish towels and oven mitts. We had to buy some. Cook ware needs updated/replaced. Overall good rental, nicely decorated and very close to beach. We love the area.

We would've gladly assisted you with anything that you needed during your stay. We try really hard to do an inventory of all items between each guest, however that is very difficult to do sometimes. In the future, please give us a call so that we can have a chance to assist you with remedying any missing items or help to get you what you need. We do supply kitchen linens for each guest so they should've been on your kitchen counter with your start up of paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent to help your stay get off to a good start. If those items were missing, we apologize sincerely for that and wish that you would've alerted us so that we could get those items to you. What a lovely home!

Sadly, members of my family had to cancel but I went by myself and had an amazing stay. I was entirely comfortable in this home. It was clean and beautiful and just a delight to stay in. It looks great in the photos and even better in person. The HVAC was perfect, bed primary bed comfortable. I cooked to take food to a gathering elsewhere in the kitchen and found it well appointed, there were a lot of utensils in great variety. Just perfect!

The property was in excellent condition, a very beautiful house. The king bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated and we’d recommend this house to our friends. We didn’t get to use the pool, every time we drive by it looked closed. FYI-the kitchen sink is plumbed backwards.

Overall, the stay was great! The house is very nice, and the beds are comfortable. The owners left a kind note and gift! For about a day we had no internet, and there is little to no cell service there. The location is not super close to the beach, but we made it work. The parking situation is definitely the worst part. Over all we paid an extra 130 in parking that is not totally clear in the posting. It says that there are two spots available, but you only have 1 parking pass included in the price. The 2nd is 30 dollars, the 3rd parking pass is 100, and you can only park in guest parking which can be pretty far from the house. The rental company was not super friendly when messaging with them before the trip. Like I said, overall, it was very nice. However, the rules and regulations of the complex that we signed after booking made us nervous and a little uncomfortable because much of it was not in the original posting on Vrbo.

Cute place but needs deep cleaned and items replaced.

This place is very cute but upon arrival we were surprised to see there was construction going on directly across the street that woke us up at 7:30 am everyday The place needs deep cleaned desperately we found hairs everywhere and grime all over the cabinets, dust covering every surface. Most of the kitchen utensils are either broken, on their last leg or scattered throughout the very unorganized drawers. Pots and pans need replaced. All of the games are broken, missing pieces, etc. The dish box in the second king room didn’t work at all. The bunk beds were definitely a plus my boys loved them but that room stays hot! The outdoor shower was nice to have after 5 people coming back from the beach!

Johnnie, We are so sorry you had such an unpleasant experience in this beautiful cottage because of the parking issue. This summer has been very busy with so many guests on site and the association had to come up with a way to keep the parking under some sort of control. The parking pass situation is not making very many people happy but every complex has to have rules that guests must abide and adhere to. We hate that the parking situation made you so upset that you will never stay here again, just know this is something completely out of our and the owners control. Fabulous beach getaway off the beaten path

The cottage was perfect for our two families with small kids! It had a screened in porch that backs up to the nature preserve so it felt very private. We wanted something that was not crowded because of Covid and this house was perfect! It was about 30 minutes from all the shops, hotels, beaches and crowds at the main Gulf Shores but the public beach right across the street was everything we could have asked for! We got fresh fish from the Seafood Market and watched the sunset and saw dolphins from The Pines Public boat launch right up the street. The Rookery pools were fab for when the kids had had enough of the beach too. We will definitely be back, we had a fantastic time!

June 2017 Stay

We have had a wonderful stay, and thoroughly enjoyed Gwin's Cottage! It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable for the 4 adults in our party. We were especially delighted with the fact that the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, utensils, and accessories. The natural habitat that surrounds the cottage makes for an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. It was just what we needed for our ladies getaway!
