"Morgans Escape" ist ein komfortables Strandhaus, 200 Meter vom wunderschönen Privatstrand von Morgantown entfernt. Sie können auf der Schaukel oder auf einem Adirondack-Stuhl auf der Veranda sitzen und den Wellen des Ozeans lauschen, während Sie den fantastischen Blick auf den Golf genießen. Die Kinder können im Pool direkt neben dem Haus schwimmen oder mit dem Fahrrad die Fort Morgan Road entlang fahren, Tennis spielen oder einfach am Strand entlang spazieren und Muscheln sammeln. In Fort Morgan können Sie so viel oder so wenig tun, wie Sie möchten.

Fort Morgan ist eine 32 Kilometer lange Halbinsel, die im Norden von Mobile Bay und im Süden vom Golf von Mexiko und dem Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge begrenzt wird. Es gibt mehrere Weltklasse-Golfplätze im Umkreis von wenigen Kilometern (Kiva, Peninsula und Plantation). Diebstahl. Das Restaurant Morgan Marina & Tacky Jacks befindet sich gleich nebenan, wo Sie Ihr Boot starten oder einen Angelcharter buchen können. This is a great property to stay at for a family trip. There is lots of space for our family to hang out. The proximity to the beach and the pool is awesome. Owners are easy to contact. Great vacation!

Lovely home & location

We had a wonderful time. The home was wonderful. Wifi isn’t the best but honestly it was great to unplug for the week. We needed to recharge on the beach or by the pool. The home had everything we needed and we love to stay here! It’s our 2nd time back and I’m sure we will be back again!

Wonderful!

We had a fabulous, relaxing stay at Morgan's Escape. The proximity to the beach is perfect! The kitchen is stocked with more applicances, dishes, pots & pans than one could ever even use! The beds were comfortable and everything was spotless. The ONLY drawback to our trip was getting chomped alive by the gnats ("no-see-ums") on the front porch the first night. No fault of the homeowners, but MAN oh MAN, those gnats were ferocious. Pack your bug spray. We would happily stay in this house again.

Beautiful beaches

We really enjoyed this home for our extended family vacation. We were a close walking distance to the beach where we spent every day and also enjoyed the two pools! The house was great for all of us! It was nice to have the bunk bed room, big kitchen and kitchen table to sit everyone for meals or game time! I would expect that there be toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, paper towel, hand soap, ant spray etc or have it listed that we need it. Internet access wasn’t the best but there was so much beauty to take in you don’t need it. We would recommend this house!

Morgans Escape - week of July 19

House was in very good condition. We've rented several beach houses and the overall condition was one of the best. Kitchen pots and pans were in good condition and are a decent quality compared to other rentals. Plenty towels provided. Everything worked, only thing we had to do were change a few light bulbs (which were available in the house). One negative - the beach chairs they provided were in terrible condition - good thing we brought our own. Same with the BBQ pits - they were pretty much unusable. The beach was fine - no oil smells at all. Beach looked wonderful but there were a lot of small sized tar balls just 2-3 feet into the water.

Fantastic week!

We truly enjoyed our 6 nights at Morgan’s escape! The house is located in the very relaxed and low key neighborhood of Morgantown. If you don’t want to be on the main drag of gulf shores this is the place for you (about 30 minute drive)! The beach is 200 yards from the house and one of the two neighborhood pools is directly nextstore (big plus for us having 3 kids under 8)! We had plenty of space for a family of five (enough room for two more adults - but more people would be tight for our preference). The house has everything needed for a comfortable stay (except paper products) and close to 2 great spots, tacky jacks and sassy bass restaurant and general store! A few cons, the windows need repair, the double pained glass is permanently fogged, and the wooden stairs/deck could use maintenance , a few nails were sticking out (tough with little ones). If you need to be directly on the beach (we didn’t) this isn’t your house, while the walk is short you can’t see the water from this house. We spent 4 days at the beach it’s really gorgeous and not over crowded, plenty of room for kids to discover! We would absolutely book this property again, it was exactly what we are looking for in a very chill vacation.

Another pleasant stay

We, (husband, dog, myself) had a relaxed Thanksgiving week in Morgantown at Morgan's Escape. The neighborhood and beach are peaceful. We used the large Morgantown pool and the tennis court. It was easy to carry my paddle board down to the beach. The house is very clean and well equipped. It is about time for a new bed in the primary suite and a refreshed rug in the dining room and I'm sure these are the types of things that all nice rental properties replace frequently. We love the spacious front porch for coffee and reading. I felt safe leaving my paddle board on the porch or in the concrete area under the house. This is a terrific property in Morgantown!

Great Beach house

This beach house is very cute and so convenient to the beach and the size of the house was perfect for us. We loved everything about it. The only thing I can possible recommend is having a fan that you can plug in outside. The back porch gets a breeze but the front not so much. Will definitely rent this house again!

Great Location in Morgantown

We stayed here with family members from NC and MS. Excellent location with easy access to beach and next door to the pool. Kitchen was furnished well and met our needs. We had some issues with the stove burners but communication was prompt to work out a solution.

The Ft. Morgan area is a great, peaceful retreat from the hectic pace of life and work.
The location of this home is perfect for all. The boardwalk to the beach is just across the road and the swimming pool next door, make it the best location for families with young children. We found that the younger children got tired of the beach and heat after a few days and would rather go next door to the pool. In the early days, you could sit on the porch and watch the pool. Now, the scrub oaks have gotten taller and the view is not as open.
The subdivision has a security company that will come lock the pool up at closing time. If someone climbs the fence and is a bother, just call the security company and they will take care of it. We love this home and hope you will also.

The single most enjoyable thing we love about our beach house is the front porch. Family and friends gather there and visit for hours. Things we do not take time to do at home. We seldom watch TV at the beach but we do enjoy music. The large family area of this home makes it nice for others to come visit and gather for meals. Most homes this size have 4 bedrooms, which cuts down on the living area. With hardwood floors in all rooms, this home is easy to keep clean and it adds a unique open feeling for the beach experience.
