This place was perfectly located at the corner of the square. Everything was clean. Sara was our POC for check in and she was spectacular! She helped secure the parking garage for our rental car and even helped with the 4 min walk to the property. There were cookies and water waiting for us when we checked in. Wonderful hosts. There is a little quirky part of the room. There were no real walls separating the bedroom and upstairs bathroom. It was all glass, meaning no privacy for showers and using the toilet. Luckily there is a downstairs toilet and shower that has privacy. It was a good stay and wonderful hosts.

Our hosts, Mariangela and Francesca, couldn't have been more wonderful. The communication was amazing, from the start, and they were incredibly thoughtful, kind and accommodating. They made everything about our stay in Florence stress-free so that we could simply enjoy our time in Florence...which we absolutely did. The apartment is in a perfect location, especially if you're arriving by train, since it's only a 5 minute walk from the SMN Train Station. It's close to everything, and there are some great restaurants, coffee shops, gelato shops and even a grocery store within a few blocks. And the apartment was beautiful and extremely comfortable, and it had everything we could possibly need or want. We will definitely plan to stay there again on our next trip to Florence.

Great property in Florence

We had a great stay at the Crystal Suite. Mariangela was a very attentive host who checked in with us frequently and was able to accommodate a last minute unexpected change in arrival times. The check in with Sara was smooth. The apartment was immaculate and well-stocked. Having laundry was helpful. The apartment was central and all the sites are within 15 minutes of walking. There was a lot of street noise at night but we were provided ear plugs that really helped. I would definitely come back and stay again.

great location, great hosts

Loved our stay there. Great location with most attractions and train station in walkable distance. Only drawback is the main bath which has all glass walls, which isn't great for family stays. There is a second normal one however, and that is what we used through our stay. Another minor drawback is the shared washer dryer with another apartment. The other people left their clothes in the washer/dryer for whole day/night, so we couldn't use it as much as we wanted. But it worked great when we used it.

A beautiful clean apartment centrally located, steps away from all the major sites.

The Crystal Apartment is beautiful and located at the end of the Santa Maria Novella Square. It is convenient to everything, from restaurants to shopping and museums. Having two bathrooms is a huge plus. Working with Mariangela (property manager) is an awesome experience. She is very helpful in explaining how to use the various things in the apartment especially the washer and dryer, the best restaurants. Whenever I text her she responded quickly and cheerfully. She cares for her guest and wants all of us to have a good experience. I would use this apartment again.

The apartment was amazing. It was perfectly located. The first greeting by Sarah was extremely comfortable and informative. Our host, Mariangela was always communicating with us. For my last day she reserved a 4:00am taxi for me. Great place to stay in Florence. I give the whole experience five stars!!!

We thought the location was perfect. Clean home with very nice hosts. You should know the “first floor” means 2 stairways up without a lift. There’s a reason they give earplugs next to the bed…due to the active nightlife and thin windows. Liked that they had 2 bathrooms, large fridge and a shared washer/dryer. Very helpful! And even though the apartment looked very modern..the glass bathroom and glass railing was not ideal and can present a hazard. Not good for little ones or the elderly.

Great location

We had a wonderful stay at the Crystal Suite. The apartment is decorated nicely...modern with an old charm from the historic ceiling. The location of the apartment is amazing. It is within walking distance to all the main attractions. The icing on the cake was how wonderful and helpful Mariangela was throughout our stay with questions and requests. She was always quick to respond and was very detailed. I would recommend staying here.
