The reviews made us a little leery of the house being clean but let me tell u everything was clean there was no hole in the ceiling like others stated just some wallpaper peeling but the house was perfect, well stocked very clean we couldnt have asked for a better house in a perfect location. The staff at the clubhouse was amazing. The manager of the property was excellent. We would definitely stay bere again.

friend and I were on vacation attending an ANNAC conference, and my som amd his family came along so they could take the kids to Universal Studios. Everything was going well until the second day of our stay. The water was suddenly turned off, and a police officer showed up at the door. He was looking for the property owner to serve legal papers. As it turned out, the owner hadn’t paid the HOA fees or the water bill. Thankfully, the water was turned back on later that day, but the situation definitely disrupted our trip. Not to mention the pool was green and dirty

Complex was nice with lots of extra amenities! Club house was nice and area around pool and bar was very convenient. Nice walking path around the pond area! Unit itself could use some updating, but it was clean.

We enjoyed the location and the resort, but the house was in need of a deep cleaning and lacked needed repairs. The ceiling in the kitchen and pool screens needed repairs and there was no pool heating or pool maintenance.

Nice community

This property was nestled in a nice gated community with a back patio that looks out onto a lake with sweet ducks. I liked the condo, nothing special. The only issue I had was the sheets didn't appear to have been cleaned from the last renters due to stains on them. Good thing I had brought extra laundry pods.

I tried reached out to the owner/manager/host several times the only communication I received back after sending the issues I had “ is the pool guy is coming and check in instructions for the second time. I had to contact vrbo staff to be to get them the first time because the owner wouldn’t respond to me! Issues in the town home -1 wash cloth for 5 guest to share. Yes 5 guest were listed on the reservation. -dead frogs and garbage in the pool. - the door leading to the pool will barely open without you getting cut on it. -toilet seat in the upstairs spare bathroom is broken. - same bathroom the towel that is hanging out looks to have pubic hair on it along with other hair. - no garbage bags or trash can in the kitchen area. - Cobb webs hanging from the corners and ceiling in the living/kitchen area. -host has horrible communication. -also was not listed or nor was I notified I would have to pay 25 to be enter and leave the community where the property is located. -open food containers in the cabinets. -the door going to pool will not open completely and about cut my dads hand.-the comforters had spots on them.

Me and my children traveled 20 hours for their break to come to the Villa and there is a huge hole in the ceiling, there was trash all along the side of the Villa when we walked up and then we left and came back to find 2 people in the our pool area only fixing the screens to the pool area with no notice. The host never replied back to me about the condition of the Villa, so I had to contact Vrbo to get any type of help. I would never rent from this landlord again. But Terra Verde was beautiful and I will rent from other landlords just not her… So beware because I feel I was scammed. And that Villa needs a complete remodel, ceiling, rugs, and the owner needs to learn how to communicate.

I feel like I should get a refund.

I had to contact to owner 2 times to get the code to get in,check in was 4 we arrived at 430, finally got the code,I open the door to find the house keeper and her children. To be told to come back in an hour or so. What?Then the house has a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen, trash in the cabinets, dirty dishes. The shower was nasty, the carpet needs to be cleaned. We left a day early because my whole family got sick. No instructions on where to put trash. Or check out instructions. Horrible. The ac filter was so dirty that it was sucking

Disappointed

The Terra Verde clubhouse & pool/hot tub area is nice. However we were very disappointed in the condition of the house. There are holes in the kitchen ceiling from an obvious bathroom leak. The carpets are filthy. We bought cleansers & brushes to clean the showers before we would even use them…mold, mildew & hair around the shower doors. Baseboards throughout are dusty & dirty. Black mold/mildew covering the closet where the ac/heat is contained. Patio area is not nice…uneven dirty bricks, ripped screens, leaves in the pool, water was so cold we couldn’t use it (ad originally said pool heat for extra ), small cheap BBQ was dirty, furniture was not anything like pictured. Curtain rod hanging off the wall in the main bedroom. The unit needs a major deep clean and repairs.

Nice townhouse, but dirty !!!

We were super excited when we reached the townhouse.But the minute we opened the door, that's when we saw the filth on the carpet in the living room, bedroom floor, dining room bench and the walls were dirty too. It looked like its been dirty for months!!!! There was an open beverage in the pool area as if someone just left. It was really disgusting and I couldn't believe my eyes, and that they would actually rent it out in that condition. I contacted the host and she told me they plan to clean the carpet once we completed our trip. How about cleaning it before your guest arrived to their trip !!!....The house is beautiful and has a lot of potential. But between the owner and the host, they don't care at all of the condition and sanitation of this house, which is sad. If the floor looked like that, I can only imagine what the mattress looked like under the sheets! So we ended up leaving and getting a hotel. I don't like leaving reviews, but people need to be aware that what you see in pictures, is not what you always get !

Needs work

The view from the Townhouse overlooking the pond was truly wonderful. However, it's unfortunate that our stay was overshadowed by several concerning issues. From filthy carpets to a kitchen ceiling in need of repair, slimy mold in the bathroom shower, and nonfunctional TVs with no local channels downstairs (2 TVs didn't work at all). The overall condition of the townhouse didn't meet our expectations, especially considering the price charged for the rental. Additionally, the absence of washcloths upon arrival was inconvenient. Consequently, we made the decision to cancel our future reservation. We sincerely hope the management will address these major repairs and consider updating the home, as well as hiring a new cleaning crew for future guests.

This was a nice place in a great community but the inside of the home was dirty. My kids & I itched everyday during our stay. There were ants in EVERY ROOM OF THIS 4 bedroom home. I reported the ants the 1st day and the issue didn’t get resolved until out 3rd night there and we stayed here for 4 nights. Even after “pest control” came there were still ants. Trash under the beds and dressers, filthy floors, and scuffs and dirty walls. I reported and sent pictures of issue but my issues were half addressed. VERY UNPLEASANT STAY and hopefully after pictures I’ve sent to management, they’ll consider a new cleaning crew.

Must Read Review...

We didn't actually get to stay at the Terra Verde property. The day we were supposed to check in, Maireddy Butron, the property manager called to inform me that there had been a water line burst in the property and that we would be unable to use the it for our stay. About two hours later, she called back to tell me that she had located a house for our stay. The property that we ended up using was fantastic. We had four bedrooms, a huge covered patio and pool and two very nice bathrooms. I would assume that the Picadilly property (where we actually stayed) is more expensive per night than the Terra Verde property, but we were charged no more than what we had paid for Terra Verde. Mrs. Butron and I spoke several times that day and I can assure you that she works tirelessly for her customers. We are frequent VRBO users in the Orlando area and will definitely seek out her properties for our future trips. Bravo, Mrs. Butron!

Spacious, clean and visitor friendly

We have never rented a villa before. More of a squeeze into two rooms hotel kinda family (2 adults and 4 kids). This was great! Had plenty of space for us and kids enjoyed having a private dip in the pool. The resort pool, playground and basketball court was like being at a hotel. This was definitely an eye opener. Not only was there plenty of space with no whining of having to share beds, but was great having the option of having the kids upstairs and is downstairs (of course we had the option of a king sized bed upstairs, by oldest got to be king). Most important part was cleanliness. It was as clean as any hotel. With ample towels. Just bring your own soap, shampoo, detergent and extra toilet paper and your good to go. The only constructive criticism would be to change some of the decor. With a minor investment in decor and duvets, it can fetch an even higher price. Those things are a bit dated. If newer, I think it could fetch twice the rental price.

Proximity to Disney was the only positive

Room to spread out for the family and about 15 - 20 minutes to Disney (easy ride) - BUT,, Roaches!! and carpet dirty with "sick" spots. Banister falling off wall. Showers outdated and poor function. Mold in the toilet rim (not clean) layers of dust on ceiling fans and in bathroom =obviously not cleaned. ROACHES were in kitchen - gross. WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN and filed complaint Pool filter basket FULL with leaves and layer of leaves on pool bottom. and outside space filthy. I was very annoyed to go to a vacation home and have to clean. Ceiling in kitchen in shambles. sore spot and obvious these issues have been there for a long time and not rectified.

We arrived from our flights about 10pm. So we arrived later. We walked into the unit first and noticed there was an apparent water leak in the kitchen that was currently or had been leaking, but the ceiling was messed up and coming down. Ok… we were still prepared to stay and just call maintenance the following day. However, we then noticed baby roaches throughout the kitchen. Crawling on the kitchen counters and in the sink where there was leftover broccoli and roaches were attached to it. Roaches around the trash. Began to walk up the steps and there was a dead roach on the steps. Called the host and she gave us the option of using another unit. Arrived at that unit and it’s still the same thing….. ROACHES!!!! Called the host once more and explained that we could not use these units. They gave me a refund, but it was around $300 less than what I originally paid. When asking them why, they claimed it was because VRBO keeps the other for fees. Asked why was I responsible for fees for a place I COULD NOT stay in due to filth and bugs. Was given the run around until I called VRBO. They instructed me on what to do to get my full refund. Next morning I had a notice that I had a full refund. Thanks to the customer rep at VRBO for instructing me on how to handle this matter or else we would have been out of $300+ . Unless you don’t mind bugs, and unkempt facilities I strongly advise you to book another spot.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was available and took care of a small problem (tripped breaker) when we moved in. Very satisfied. A couple of small repairs could be done (closet door) but it is minor.

Overall great experience

This unit was nice. The main issue that we had was the wifi not working majority of the trip. I would up date the dryer for future reference. Otherwise, the location of the property is great. The close proximity to restaurants, and shopping is great. Overall, great experience.
