I'm afraid to tell you how great it was. I want to go back next year! The hostess is great and has a special property next to the Mendocino Botanical Gardens and deserves for others to know about it. Big kitchen and dining area. Tremendous amount of light. Laundry room to take care of kids dirty laundry. Spa tub and outdoor hot tub. There is much more, but suffice to say we got plenty of serenity. Thanks Holly!

Holly and Trevor, we’re lovely. Holly’s tour when we arrived reflected her deep love for her property. It was great to connect with her and hear some of the history. It’s a magnificent property. Our dogs loved the amount of green grass… They just ran and played. The private beach is special. There are four rooms. Two are large and spacious. Two are small, but sufficient. Lots of gathering spaces. The gardens are also spectacular.

When we arrived, the host, Trevor, was very welcoming and showed us around the house and the grounds. The house was perfect for our extended family, and we all loved walking outside and down to the beach. Holly's ease and friendliness made the booking process smooth; great communication and access to our host. Her description of the property and check-in were spot on -- and ready for us when we arrived. What a gorgeous, spacious and well equipped property! Everything we needed was available, and the host often checked in to make sure we had what we needed. The beach access and views were breathtaking! We so much enjoyed the patio and hot tub on the back of the property for relaxing and sunning ourselves in the afternoons and evenings. We were stocked with fire wood so we build a lovely fire on the night of the full moon. All the beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen well stocked with working dishwasher; the bathrooms were filled with comfy towels too. The spaciousness of the home gave our family plenty of space for being private or sharing time together. And again, the views of the ocean were splendid! What a great time away. Thank you Holly for sharing your space with us! We enjoyed meeting you too.

A Truly Special Stay at Holly's Ocean MeadowWhat a gem of a property! We had an absolutely wonderful time at Holly's Ocean Meadow and couldn't recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary vacation rental.The house itself is beautifully appointed and has everything you could possibly need — and then some. The kitchen is exceptionally well-supplied, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals together without having to hunt down any missing essentials.The backyard view is simply spectacular. We found ourselves spending hours just taking it all in, and the hot tub became a beloved afternoon ritual that we looked forward to each day. As if the scenery wasn't enough, we were also treated to visits from a local deer — a magical little bonus that made the stay feel even more special.But what really sets this property apart is Holly herself. She is a truly outstanding host. Despite us arriving late at 10:30 PM, she was there in person to greet us, walked us through the house, and made sure we had everything we needed before quietly slipping away — attentive without being intrusive. That kind of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Holly, for sharing your beautiful property and for making our trip so memorable!

Beautiful Property!

We loved the private beach and the tide pools. The owners supplied the wood for our bond fire, and also for the fire pit located by the hot tub. We couldn't get enough of exploring with all of the pretty flowers and statues, there was something to see at every point. Love Love Love, would go back again.

Even better than expected!

Beautiful Cove

Plan to spend your time in the cove! Bring a wagon! We brought an ice chest, chairs and more down to the cove! Great for the dogs! Loved the mornings there also!

Our family of 7 and our little Pomeranian Zorba had a memorable Thanksgiving at Holly’s Meadow. Close to everything. We enjoyed relaxing on the sun room where mom stayed and I especially loved the gas fire place in one of the Master bedroom. Perfect property for a big venue

Amazing Oasis, Great Event or getaway Venue

This is an oasis not to be missed, the property goes out to the ocean on an amazing bluff... you have your own northern Cali beach... with beautiful keep grounds.. Caroline the manger lives in the grounds and is so amazing!! We went here for a bachelorette weekend and it could not have been any better!! We all will be returning!!

Beautiful weekend!!!

My family and I had the most wonderful time at Hollys. We hosted our wedding there on a Saturday, but spend two days before having all our family and friends meet and get to know eachother. It was the perfect place. We did bonfires at night, explored the beach during the day and played lawn games that we brought. It was absolutely stunning and my nieces and nephews had the best weekend of their lives exploring the property and going on adventures. Trevor and Holly are wonderful owners and Trevor was communicative so so extremely helpful during our stay. We highly recommend staying at Holly’s! It’s truly one of a kind. We’ll definitely be back.

We have stayed in several homes over the last several years. This is by far the best one in every way the best part was being able to build a bonfire on the private Cove They provided a ton of firewood.

Oceanside wedding

We gathered at this property for my daughter’s wedding, the owners were attentive, kind and accommodating. The property was stunning, offering plenty of things to do and sights to see. The home met our every need, comfortable, and relaxing. Thank you so much!!!!

Great family time

We had a wonderful time. The property has great energy. The house is large enough everyone could have their space. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating dinner with a view of the coast. The kids enjoyed a bonfire at the cove with hotdogs and s'mores. We will return

Fort Bragg with friends

All of us completely enjoyed our stay at your house. I loved the second master bedroom with the magnificent view. A few fished at the cove and one caught a fish. Loved being able to find sea glass on the beach. The house had everything we could want and we plan on returning.

I have been part of the community for over 50 years. I am retired , I travel the world . I raised my children on this very special property. The artwork on the fences was created by wonderful husband. My goal is to provide a place where you reconnect with yourself and others. The property manager lives on property about 20’ from back of house. There is a separate driveway. There is a studio where Holly sometimes stays in back the garage. It has no adjoining wall to master bedroom. Both entrances are behind 6’ fence and separate driveway.

This property is magical. This property is the first place I slept when I came to Fort Bragg 45 years ago, but I did not own it for 5 years. There has been a child born here, a sweat lodge at the beach, family reunions, my company 's parties and numerous weddings. It is constantly recharged with love and joy. I view myself as a guardian with a sincere desire to share the property with others and one hand it down to my grandchildren.

The property is near town and off Highway 1. It borders the Mendocino Botanical Gardens on the North and accessed by a private lane. There are 4 ponds, an ocean meadow, bluffs and a private cove with a year round stream. Lots of wildlife. There is diving and rock fishing. Bonfires at beach. Walk to the point for sunsets, play in the meadow, enjoy all the property has to offer.
