House was spotless and as advertised. Great location for a family holiday and the shared pool was not busy which was great. Fantastic host always on hand to help with any questions.

Super Host, Great Pool

I’ve rented properties in various locations over the years, none have had a host as helpful and accommodating as James. Any questions or queries I had both pre-booking and during our stay were always delay with promptly…he was even there to greet us upon arrival!! The Villa is in a lovely, quiet corner of the resort, just a stones throw from the Driving Range, and a short stroll to the hotel. The 3 beds and 3 baths were a huge bonus for a family with teenagers..no fighting over the shower. The biggest win was the ‘shared’ pool. It was so quiet that for most of our holiday it was like having a private pool. Fantastic. Another bonus was the newly installed external fan. Sitting above the patio furniture it really made a difference keeping the temperature down and flies away. As a family we enjoy getting out and about and exploring. So having a hire car was no problem. If you’re into days at the beach or hitting the shops then the Villa is about 25/30 mins away from the coast or Cartagena. Not a problem for us though..Spanish roads are a pleasure to drive on when compared to the UK imo In summary, we all had a great time and would be happy to stay at James’ Villa again. Hopefully we won’t lose as many Golf balls next time!!

Entspannung pur

Weit weg vom Coronawahnsinn haben wir einen wunderbar entspannten Urlaub verlebt. Der Pool liegt direkt hinter der Grunstücksgrenze und so konnten wir uns jeder Zeit erfrischen und dann auf unsere Liegen gehen oder auch einfach auf der Terasse im Schatten sitzen. Die Betreuung des Vermieter war sehr gut. Um unsere Fragen hat er sich trotz Zeitverschiebung immer schnell gekümmert. Wir nehmen gerne wieder die 20 Stunden Fahrzeit auf uns.

Sejour génial

Nous avons passé de magnifique vacance. La villa est superbe. De nature anxieux et mefiant , james nous tout expliquer de l'arrivée jusqu'au depart . Nous avions beaucoup de question et james nous a rassuré. Grace a cela notre séjour a été encore plus magnifique , dans un cadre merveilleux !. On a put profiter de la piscine tout les jours et vister de grande ville alentour.. carthagene, murcia ,.. et un peu plus loin toreveja, aguilas, et plein dautre !!. Cetait tellement genial .. nous avons hate d'y retourner !. Merci encore a james qui est un hote parfait et a tres bientot .

Perfect stay on this resort!

Villa was great with enough privacy. Swimmingpool directly to the villa. All the equipment was available in the House with on both the levels air conditioning. Check and communication with James was Good and quickly. We had a great week👍

Great place to stay and have fun with the family.

I would recommend this listing. Owner was friendly and helpful. The house is spotless. It is a Great house in a great setting, lovely garden and is secluded. The house has the Best position for the pool. It is family friendly. Looking to return shortly.

Hacienda del Alamo - July 2018

We stayed at the villa for a couple of weeks in July 2018 and were looking for a location with places of interest to visit, stuff to do, bars and restaurants and some peace and quiet. We arrived in the early hours of the morning, following a 50 minute drive from San Javier airport, having got the keys from the 24 hour security and made our way to the property which was pretty easy to find. We let ourselves in to find a very smart looking villa standing in its own grounds with shared parking just round the corner. The property has 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a spacious living area with English TV, a small dining area and fully equipped kitchen – all spread over 2 floors with air-conditioning. The upstairs balcony overlooks the shared pool and there is a spacious patio area with sunbeds, dining area, BBQ and the gate to the shared pool (which we had mostly to ourselves for the 2 weeks). The golf club with restaurant and bar is only a 2 minute walk away and the Spaniard and IT bars are a short drive or a 20 minute walk both serving drinks and well priced food. The Spanish village is just a 5 minute walk away and though a bit deserted at the moment with the opening of the new hotel and some more bars and restaurant it promises to be more lively in the future. A car is a must as the complex is large and the nearest big supermarket is a few kilometres away in the local town – Fuente Alamo. The coast is less than an hour away and there are some great places to see. There are tennis courts, a bowls club and football pitch to use and the golf course and driving range. We hired bikes for a week from a local company as there are lots of quiet roads to explore. The only slight downside are the flies, they take a bit of getting used to but didn’t ruin our holiday as a squirt of repellent and a fly swat seemed to do the trick. All in all we had a great time and would certainly return at some time in the future. I would certainly recommend this villa to those that want a quiet base with all the comforts of home.

Thank you for your review! It was a pleasure having you. I’m happy to report that the new airport is now open and only 18 mins drive to the villa. There are new bars and restaurants in the Spanish Square as well as the mini market and a very nice gift shop. The new spa has opened (250 metresfrom the villa) with great restaurants and bars and often evening entertainment. With regards to the beaches, there are some lovely beaches just 35 mins away (plenty of recommendations in our Welcome Pack). We’ve just returned from the villa and added a few extra touches for our guests. We hope you’ll consider staying again! Regards James

Fantastic holiday in an excellent villa.

We had a great holiday, the villa was everything we expected and was perfect for our family. We enjoyed dining outside each evening with a glass of wine or gin & tonic. The location to the pool is ideal & we could relax on the balcony whilst the girls were swimming. The villa is spacious, comfortable, well maintained and I would certainly recommend it.

Lovely Villa

We have spent 10 days at the villa, and have had a wonderful time. It is a very quiet and relaxing resort so if you are looking to spend time chilling in the sun, we would highly recommend a visit. Would recommend the Spaniard Inn, on the resort, great food and friendly staff. A car is needed as the town is about 7-8 mins drive, with supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

Luxury Villa in a secluded hide away

We spent 5 nights at the Villa, and were very happy to spend as much time as we could there. The villa is spacious and has all mod-cons to make your stay as comfortable as possible, the pool is right outside the villa and is as good as a private pool with there being a rare occasion another guest from another villa would be there. Inside the villa there are great extras such as a juicer, fast Wi-Fi, Recliner chair and Cafetiere that just add that extra touch during your stay. The resort itself is very clean and tranquil and perfect for a get away and relaxing break, with everything you need a short stay away. Highly recommended home-from-home.
