Dieses niedliche Cottage mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Bad bietet Platz für fünf Personen und liegt nur wenige Schritte vom Strand entfernt. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Doppelbett und einen Zugang zur Terrasse durch die Doppeltüren. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett über einem vollen Etagenbett, das 3 Personen Platz bietet. Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über Flachbildfernseher, die an den Wänden montiert sind. Die Essecke bietet bequem Platz für 6 Personen am Tisch. Es gibt eine große Terrasse mit Tischen, Stühlen und einem Gasgrill, ideal für einen entspannten Kurzurlaub. Diese Unterkunft befindet sich an einer Hauptstraße in Mission Beach. Overall, great location. A block over from the beach for morning/ evening walks. We were a family of 4 and never once felt like we were on top of each other. The patio in the evenings was delightful. Only thing I can point out that wasn’t great was the No A/C. It got very warm, even with windows open and all 3 fans. Highly suggest purchasing in-window units or just a unit in the common area.

Family vacation

The location was absolutely perfect and we loved the patio deck. The property itself was not very clean and needs a lot of maintenence(broken screens, shower door leaks water EVERYWHERE, beds are old and uncomfortable, etc). We would stay here again, mainly because of the location and convenience.

Nice place

Overall it was a great location and we really enjoyed the outdoor deck area. Not tons of indoor space, but it works. Dishes in the kitchen were dirty and some ants/flys were annoying, otherwise would have given 5 stars.

Ladies Weekend

The kozy Kingston was a wonderful choice for our girls get-away. The sofa bed couch came in handy and was a nice surprise. There is a close little market with a friendly owner and Belmont Park is within walking distance for restaurants and bars. Would definitely come back again!

Ants all in kitchen. Obviously a problem because there was ant spray under sink. Outdoor cushions had mold on them. Guest room pillows smelled weird. It’s super cute and in a great location but not sure I’d stay there again.

May end trip

Property was a bit run down. Shower was not clean. The owner did a poor job on their DYI shower & shower floor remodel. We knew there was no AC. However ceiling fans should be installed in each bedroom & main living area. Kitchen had a dead mouse somewhere. Definitely could smell it. Ants got into all food left on the counter. We lost our Dounut bar purchase for breakfast due to ants.No back splash on the kitchen just a large gap for ants & dirt. Faulty wiring in the only bedroom with a ceiling fan. Light would flicker when first turned on. Only 1 smoke detector, kitchen. None in my living area or bedrooms.We told to get propane if the one bottle run out. Which it ran out in the first 3 minutes of cooking our first meal. Very in convenient. They should provide two tanks. (Full preferably)We enjoyed our time just would not stay there again nor recommend it.

No Communication

At the time we were due to check in there were no check-in instructions communicated to us. I had to spend an hour on the phone with VRBO to gain access to the residence. The best sheets were never washed, they were simply re-folded. Found hairs in the bed sheets. You get what you pay for, I guess.

The Good and Bad

The Good - Location, Location, Location The Bad - 3rd time staying here now, showing signs of dis-repair. 1. Needs patch and paint work 2. Furniture was dirty, ottoman stained, took throw pillows to laundry. 3. Tons of flies 4. Bathroom sink slow to drain 5. Limited outlets for toaster oven. 6. Oven light burned out 7. Large rat(s) 8. Bathroom windows screen falling off, too small 9. All windows were extremely dirty, cannot see out of 10. No battery in clock, installed our own battery. 11. Curtain rods pulling out in master bedroom. 12. Gate to deck, not closing property, needs fixed 13. Prunings from palm fronds (large pile left), dog poop (We cleaned this. 14. Deck dirty, bird dropping, food (We cleaned this). 15. All the artwork was down (on top of the closet). We rehung them all and cleaned them. 16. Toilet seat chipped and damaged (needs replaced). .

Great location and budget friendly

Very clean and walkable to the beach and restaurants. I didn’t realize there was no parking space and street parking was tough. This must be why it’s so affordable. Pay attention to the signs because you will get a ticket when the street cleaner comes. Beds were comfortable

Enjoyable by all

This was a prime location and satisfied everything we had set to do. Limited parking but it states this within the listing. This property also had extra towels, bedding and all the kitchen things for cooking etc. Bring your own ice however if needed. Would definitely stay again.

Windy nights and spot lights

Very short walk to the beach, which was a plus! Parking is a chore!! Just hope you find something close! The neighbors motion light points directly into the bedrooms. The second night we were there it was super windy so the trees would set the light off every 10-15 minutes. It is very close to all the shops and restaurants! Was easy to stay put for a few days and secure that parking spot!!

The cottage had everything we needed

It was the perfect place for a beach getaway for 4 plus our little chihuahua, location was great, the cottage was clean and provided what we needed. Parking spaces were limited but that was expected. We enjoyed the patio and BBQ accommodations as well as the outdoor shower for rinsing off after returning from the beach.

cute beach BARGAIN

You get what you pay for.... I am usually good about reading reviews, and looking very carefully at the photos- to see what I am getting. Its a cute enough little place, close to beach. Literally a 2 min walk to be on the sand!! Food and bars are a 5-10 min walk. Decent kitchen and dining room, with a remodeled bathroom. Beds are small- but clean! If you are a bunch of college kids wanting a place to crash or party- this is it. Not great for families or adults. We got to the unit- and it took us a good 20 min to get the door unlocked. The key has to be put in just right... and the perfect ratio of pull door handle, and turn to get it opened. The management company was going to "send someone to fix it sometime Sat morning"- which means we either trust this guy with all our stuff in the house- or have to sit and babysit for how many hours.... We used second key and figured out the perfect ratio to get in. Also when I called - I had to let them know I had to mop the floors Thurs evening. I got out of the shower and with in 30 seconds- my feet were absolutely black from the lack of mopping and dirt on the floors. There was also about an inch of dust on ceiling fans. (I bet I won't get any money back for doing the cleaning for them though!). Thurs night is jam session at the unit next door. They had band practice till 1030/ 11 ish- so if you are coming with kids- be warned! The couch is not the same as pictured- and needs to be replaced. It has huge hollow spots, and springs loose- and not the one pictured. Yes- you are close to the beach... you are also right on the main road of mission beach. You can not leave anything out on deck for even 5 min without it disappearing!!! We left a towel and a pair of shoes out to dry Sat on the patio furniture they were both gone! Also- we went in April and parking was a nightmare. I can't imagine what parking is like in the summer.

Beach house

We stayed at the Kingston cozy cottage for 4 nights. It was clean and spacious enough for 6 of us. The 2nd bedroom had a bunk bed with slept 3. It was fine for us the master need was a queen and was fine to sleep on. W had one night 2 people slept on couch and it was fine. The house is small but has a spacious living area. It was right off mission Blvd which can be a little noisy at night if you have the windows open which we were to tired to care about the noises.t The house was clean and nice. Not enough towels so bring extra. It's in a perfect location off mission beach several houses from the beach. We enjoyed the house and would come back and stay again.

Cute but extremely uncomfortable

The great things about the cottage were its location, style, and excellent supply of cookware. We were glad we stayed there, but there were some real issues with the place. I would definitely stay there again if the following problems were fixed: First, the beds in the smaller bedroom were awful. The lower of the beds in the bunk was extremely lumpy and uncomfortable! Not kidding, this alone made our stay unbearable. The upper bed in the bunk was noisy from the old fashioned springs. Every time my kid rolled over I woke up. Second, the cottage only had one couch for 5 people. This makes no sense. There's room for a couple of cute small chairs or a bigger L-shaped couch. There's an L-shaped couch in the pictures but it wasn't there when we stayed. Same idea goes for the patio --it only seats 4. Third, what's up with only two rolls of toilet paper for 5 humans for a week? Seems cheap and just mean spirited to me. Finally, it was hot in there. We finally ( on the last day) figured out that the actual heat was on! The thermostat was clearly not working. Thank goodness for the fans. Fixing these problems would not be unreasonably expensive and would make the stay much more bearable.

Relaxing stay at Cozy Kingston

The property was charming with a wonderful patio to enjoy the mornings and evenings. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. Krista and the Mission Sands staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. They made sure we enjoyed every aspect of our stay.
