Perched on a private corner of high-desert magic, Casa Vega Verde is set among rolling hills of piñon & juniper in Santa Fe's scenic Tesuque area. Across the road is Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado and Santa Fe Plaza and downtown is Approximately 9 miles away — close enough, far enough

SOUTHWESTERN SOUL, FRESH COMFORTS
Exposed wood vigas, warm brick and tile floors, quartz countertops, quartzite and glass tables, Southwestern art and textiles, and two traditional kiva fireplaces give the casita its character. The primary-bedroom fireplace is decorative — a lovely home for candlelight — while the living-room fireplace welcomes real wood fires during the permitted season.
The kitchen and bathrooms were reimagined in summer 2026: contemporary finishes meet traditional pueblo soul. Translation — the aesthetics guests crave, and the shower pressure they deserve.
Comfortable living-room seating invites long conversations, another chapter, or a pleasantly ambitious afternoon nap. The raised dining area makes room for leisurely meals, whether guests have cooked something wonderful or expertly unpacked takeout — Happy Hour at the Four Seasons bar is right across the street. An in-home washer and dryer, new in 2026, makes longer stays easy.
Two King Bedrooms, No Coin Toss Required
Both bedrooms feature king beds, 100% cotton sheets, wood flooring, and direct patio access — everyone gets a comfortable place to retreat.
The primary bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower, exposed wood beams, and a decorative kiva fireplace adorned with handcrafted glazed pottery and tile accents. Step onto the north-facing open patio for rolling-hill views, or ease into the day with coffee on the south-facing covered patio. Getting dressed first is entirely a matter of ambition.
The second bedroom has its own outdoor access with a chiminea, plus a full bathroom in the hallway. A telescope stands ready for anyone whose curiosity extends past the next hillside.
A LITTLE ROOM TO EXHALE
Casa Vega Verde sits at the northeastern edge of Pueblo Encantado, a private community of just 36 homes across 95 acres. With open views to the north, east, and south, this corner of the community offers privacy and space to take in the high-desert landscape. Plans may become less specific here. That's allowed.
Three Patios. Find Your Favorite.
Morning coffee. Afternoon wine. Sunset contemplation. Midnight stargazing. There's a patio for every version of a guest they might become over the next few days — and a few they haven't discovered yet.
Guests also have access to Pueblo Encantado's shared seasonal heated pool and covered ping-pong area, should a little friendly competition find its way into an otherwise very relaxed schedule. (Pool open Memorial Day–Labor Day, heating on the same schedule, per the community.)
When Daylight Fades and the Sky Clears
Come for the mountain views. Stay for the stars — and possibly the company of owls who philosophize at 2 a.m. Excellent conversationalists, though their insights are best appreciated with a glass of wine and lowered expectations. If a meteor waves back, let the host know.
A telescope in the second bedroom and astronomical binoculars on the dining-area shelves are ready for a closer look. Search for constellations, make a wish if something streaks by, or simply sit together and watch the night unfold. Knowing the names of things is optional. Looking up is the lovely part.
SANTA FE, When Guests Are Ready
Browse the galleries along Canyon Road, explore downtown's museums and shops, or spend an afternoon in the Railyard. For a culinary outing, consider a class at the Santa Fe School of Cooking — and bring a little inspiration back to the casita's kitchen.
