TLDR: clean but separate spaces and UNABLE TO LOCK/ secure rooms. The long version: This property is newly renovated and clean. Check in was easy and we were grateful as we were a last minute booking.Pros: clean , nice, easy access on Circuit. Cons: ok bear with me. This is not a condo or apartment. There is no living room although one is pictured/ stated as a space provided. The listing is for 2 bedrooms (1 up 1 down) and we were aware the bathroom was upstairs. What we were never told is that there are 3 separately rented out spaces inside the property, so much more similar to a B&B, meaning the downstairs bedroom (with only a sliding non-locking barn door and no bathroom) is not able to be secured and is open to any party staying on the second floor. ON the second floor, there are 2 suites behind normal locked doors so normal security there. The suite we were in had a kitchenette, bath, bed, balcony- again no living room (not sure if the OTHER upstairs had one).THE BIGGEST ISSUE: You cannot lock the upstairs suite at night if someone is sleeping downstairs as they may need to come in and use to the toilet. Also, you cannot lock the main (front) door to the building so the bottom bedroom is rather unsecured.This would be a huge problem for most people and a non-starter for someone intending for children to stay in the extra bedroom. It should have all been disclosed/ explained. Did we complain- no, as we had no alternative housing and the island was completely sold
