Welcome to this secluded jungle home in Punta Uva, tucked deep within a protected wildlife refuge and surrounded by the vibrant colors and sounds of the rainforest. Designed for groups of up to 10, this tropical getaway offers a private pool with sweeping views, comfortable indoor-outdoor living spaces, and cozy, well-appointed bedrooms. Whether you're watching toucans from the deck, cooling off in the pool after a beach day, or simply soaking in the sounds of nature, this home offers an authentic and unforgettable Costa Rican experience.

Located just 1 km from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, Villa Macaw is your gateway to pristine, uncrowded beaches and a variety of activities, including snorkeling over coral reefs, kayaking, wildlife hikes, horseback riding, and simply relaxing by the shore.

This villa features three private bungalows, each thoughtfully furnished and with its own bathroom for added comfort and privacy:

- Master Bedroom: A luxurious space with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, working desk, and large doors that open to stunning ocean and jungle views. The en-suite bathroom boasts a double showerhead, a bathtub, and a bidet, offering a spa-like retreat in the heart of nature.

- Second Bedroom: A cozy retreat with a queen-size bed, working desk, closet, ceiling fan, and its own private bathroom.

- Third Bedroom: Perfect for groups or families, this spacious room sleeps six with two bunk beds (full-size beds on the bottom, twin-size beds on top), a working desk, closet, ceiling fans, and a private bathroom.

The main house serves as the heart of the villa, offering ample space for relaxation and connection. The living room features a comfortable C-shaped sofa and a smart TV with Chromecast, while the dining area accommodates large groups with seating for 10 or more upon request. The fully equipped kitchen includes a professional chef’s gas stove and oven on a central island, high-end appliances, and plenty of counter space to prepare meals.

Step outside to your private pool, a salt-and-chlorine blend surrounded by landscaped gardens and a terrace with breathtaking views of the jungle. Villa Macaw is alive with wildlife—you’ll encounter vibrant toucans, parrots, and macaws daily, as well as monkeys, sloths, colorful frogs, hummingbirds, and morpho butterflies.

For guests planning parties, events, or retreats, pre-approval is required, and additional pricing and policies will be provided.

Whether you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying the incredible wildlife, or exploring the nearby beaches and towns, Villa Macaw offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable Caribbean getaway.

The villa is located on a steep hill with a mix of gravel and paved sections. While a 4x4 or high-clearance vehicle is recommended, it is not 100% necessary, tuk-tuks and scooters have made the trip without an issue!

Free Laundry service is available through our cleaning lady Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM and Saturday until noon. If needed, additional cleaning services (like trash removal or towel changes) we can also arrange with advance notice.

For larger groups or special events, the neighboring Villa Toucan is also available for rent. Together, the two villas provide an exclusive retreat, perfect for family gatherings, retreats, or celebrations.
