Three minutes. That's all it takes to walk from the front porch of Palma Verde, a lovely private saltwater pool home to the wide-open gorgeous beach of Playa Negra. Comfortable, airy, and convenient, this two-bedroom, two-bath home sleeps six in one King, one queen bed, and a sofa sleeping option. The home sits in a small enclave of houses in a neighborhood just off the main road, in the beach community of Playa Negra Heights. Keep connected to friends and family with the Fiber internet, and enjoy lazy afternoons lounging by the private pool.
Walking to town is a 15-20 minute beautiful beach walk, and there you will find many amazing restaurants, specialty shops, grocery stores, and adventurous activities to enjoy during your stay. Please check out our "Favorite's Guide" for everything from fabulous breakfast spots to the best bike rentals. The illustrious Banana Azul Beach Club with its famed restaurant, gourmet market, hair salon, and other amenities is a short ten-minute walk from the house. In both cases, shoes are optional! Throw your flip-flops in a bag and walk in the warm Caribbean waters to your destination, or take a bike or tuk-tuk taxi for even shorter travel times.

The home itself is a fairly new build and has plenty of space to relax in the bright, airy, and spacious living area with kitchen, living room, and dining in one large space with towering 20-foot, 6-meter ceilings adorned with locally hand-made pendant lights and ceiling fan. The full kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, large toaster oven for baking, blender, coffee maker, toaster, and all your cookware, cutlery, and tableware. Basic spices (sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil) are provided for your cooking needs.
There is a laundry room with a pantry area and a washer/dryer for your use. The home is fully screened with screened windows and offers a screen for the front door as well.

The air-conditioned master bedroom has a comfortable king bed with luxury linens, a ceiling fan, and a large trifold door that can be opened for a gentle afternoon breeze. Enjoy sitting on the private patio while reading or enjoying the gardens. The ensuite Master Bath has a rain shower fixture and decorative openings to the outdoors that maintain privacy and allow the outdoor air to circulate. The air-conditioned second bedroom has a queen bed, large windows, high ceilings, and fans for extra cooling.

Outdoors, on the oversized porch, a beautifully crafted dining table and chairs await a lovely home-cooked meal. Chairs to lounge and have a chat are placed around a low table to hold drinks and snacks. A hammock swings lazily from the rafters for a peaceful afternoon slumber. On a hot day sit in the pool with your favorite beverage or lounge on the deck with a good book.
Palma Verde is a private home providing a special oasis of comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and desirable features. We have furnished and prepped the home with your comfort in mind. Any stays over 10 nights include a housekeeping visit mid-stay.
