Our villa overlooks a golf course in a quiet residential area, away from the main tourist destinations (33 miles North of Tampa and 66 miles West of Orlando) - it is the ideal location for a quiet, relaxing holiday whilst still within easy driving distance of the main attractions. There is a large (28' x 14') heated swimming pool, a spacious lanai for outdoor living and an excellent beach just a 15 minute drive away. There are another 14 golf courses nearby - perfect for golf enthusiasts.

The international airport at Tampa is just 45 minutes away via the Suncoast Parkway, while the drive to Orlando takes 90 minutes. A wide variety of restaurants, shops and supermarkets can be found within a five or ten minute drive and Pine island beach is only 15 minuutes away. The whole area is wonderful for wild life - sit on the lanai and watch the birds feeding or adventure further afield and see manatees in the wild, alligators and much more.

A Perfect Stay

Home from Home and more, very comfortable. A good size pool, ideal for swimming lengths. Plenty of space poolside for sunbathing, dining and an evening drink. Pool bathroom an added bonus. Great view outside. Spring Hill is a terrific area with all the shops and facilities you could need.

Place was super clean and comfortable. Pool was also clean and 85 degree water made it feel great. Very close to everything you could need. We all enjoyed spending 9v days here and look forward to our next trip. Thanks

Fantastic villa!

We have been staying in the area for around 30 years now and out of all the rented villas we have stayed this is by far the best! Very clean, spacious family villa. Children’s pool fence was already up and waiting after I spoke to the hosts and asked about one for my 1 year old. Fantastic hosts very helpful and would love to stay here again!

Great Vacation!

We had a wonderful time in your home! My sister's wedding was fabulous and it worked out so nicely that your home was pretty much right down the home. We loved the home and plan to return but stay much longer next time. I could have moved in to be honest because it felt like home!

Amazing Home!!!

This home was amazing. The host was amazing. Their home was very clean. Beds were super comfortable! They had smart TV’s so we could access Netflix on the rainy days and at night! Pool was our family’s favorite part! There is some beautiful Florida springs close by. I would definitely stay here again!

Pleasantly Surprised

This was our first experience VRBO rental and it was quite pleasant. The weather was not very cooperative, but we are from Wisconsin and it still was warmer than our home state. The pool was heated and we did use it. I was a little fearful of the property access procedures and returning something thru the mail to the UK for deposit refund, but it went very well. Liz and Ed were very pleasant to rent with and I would do it again. It is unfortunate that it isn't available for next years family wedding. Thank you Liz and Ed.

Excellence on holiday

We have been renting villas in Florida for nearly 20 years. How often in rental properties do you find the air conditioning controls and pool heating controls locked away in boxes with the aircon set at 80 degrees and the pool temperature barely comfortable? Ok in some locations there are justifiable reasons for this but it is nice to be treated like responsible renters here, this is by far the most comfortable and well equiped villa we have found within a reasonable rental cost and within 75 miles of Orlando. The owners take care and pride in the upkeep of the property and it shows. The other reviews cover all the remaining salient points, if you are looking for an area with good shoping, safe local beaches, beautiful scenery and good road links then this area and this villa are as good as it gets. Enjoy!

Ideal Location

A perfect location to relax after a busy week in Orlando. If you enjoy golf you are within 30 minutes of some marvelous courses with the two at World Woods a must and I also thought The Dunes and Hernando Oaks well worth playing. Plenty of other things to do with beautiful beaches and State Wildlife Parks close by. Driving around was easy with many of the roads pretty quiet. The owners have a fantastic library of maps, guides and places to eat that make it easy for anyone staying to get the best from their time here. Easily the most informative of all the homes I have stayed in and Ideal for the first time visitor to this part of Florida. We also enjoyed the house a lot, clean and bright in its quiet location, with the lovely pool area, where we spent many happy hours relaxing or reading a book from the extensive library available. The fixtures and fittings were to a high standard and all contributed to a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. The customer service from the owners was also first class from day one with detailed information following my initial enquiry and continued with a phone call on arrival to make sure everything was fine. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to come back to your lovely home in the future. Would change one thing however - want to stay for two or three weeks next time instead of one!

Perfect Home for Christmas Vacation

We had the absolute best stay at Liz + Ed’s beautiful home in Spring Hill to celebrate my son’s 10th Birthday and Christmas with my husband’s family who also lives in Spring Hill. The house was impeccably cleaned and organized. Prior to the trip, Liz and Ed provided us with detailed information on not only the home but with surrounding restaurants and things to do. Although we are very familiar with the area from visiting family, it was still so appreciated! Ed and Liz were wonderful with communicating with us not only before, but during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The house is conveniently located to all the shops, including Publix which is where I do most of my food shopping. It’s also close to Pine Island Beach which we love. My son loves going to Bayport to walk on the docks and see all the boats - there is always a gorgeous sunset too! We did a day trip to Busch Gardens in Tampa for my son’s Birthday - which was so much fun and only an hour away! We spent a good amount of time outdoors and in their heated in ground pool. The pool temp was perfect and so nice during the “cooler” Florida days. It is beyond peaceful when relaxing on the patio. It’s super spacious, plenty of seating for when we had some family over for Christmas Eve, the Weber grille worked great and it was nice having the pool bathroom right there! I could go on and on! It was perfect for our family and we cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Ed and Liz for everything!

RENT THIS HOME :) !!!!

This home has EVERYTHING you need/want multiplied by two! The living area is bright and open. The kitchen is open to the living area, which is a huge plus for those of us in the kitchen often :). The pool and patio is top notch for sure, and has plenty of comfortable chairs, rockers, and lawn chairs. Big bonus that the pool area overlooks the owner's manicured lawn, public land, and a public golf course - aka 'no backyard houses'. The bedrooms are spacious, having three bathrooms was a plus, the washer/dryer worked great, the garage is immaculate, and the quantity of books and movies will amaze you. We would love to rent again, it was difficult to leave.

Fantastic Florida Vacation

This property was perfect for our needs. Affordable, beautiful, well stocked and comfortable! We found the hosts detailed information on the surrounding area, attractions, restaurants and town very helpful to plan our vacation. The hosts gave us thorough operational details about the house that made it a breeze to find and use the amenities. Cozy and spotless!

This was one of my favorite Vrbo stays! I rented Ed and Liz’s home for thanksgiving week while visiting relatives in Spring Hill for the holiday. The 3 bedroom home was very comfortable for myself, husband and 4 kids (3months -7yrs). From the start it was a wonderful experience, I had a conversation with Ed upon booking and he was the kindest person as I asked about pool safety and crib set up for the home. Closer to our vacation, Ed and Lizs sent their website link, which was an amazing resource for restaurants and things to do around town. Check in to the home was easy, the keypad was obviously placed. Once we entered the home, I was very excited to see how clean the kitchen and bathrooms were. The bedding was also cleaned including all duvets which is not always the case in a rental nor hotel. All bathrooms had been supplied with towels and soap. The kitchen was very well organized and stocked with all basic pantry items. Not to mention Liz has every possible pan one could need in a kitchen (which came in handy when I found the perfect pan to cook the turkey for thanksgiving!!) In addition to bathroom and kitchen supplies, this home has EVERYTHING you needed for an amazing vacation! From beach chairs and towels, there are water wings aNd floats for the kids. Now to this homes best feature, the large heated pool! We had a cold week while staying but the kids still went into the pool. They swam so much! Thank you so much Ed and Liz for opening your home to our family! We cannot wait to come back next year!

Great vacation home

The house was lovely. Clean and had everything you needed. Also a wealth of information of area restaurants, stores and places to see. Very quiet neighborhood and the landscaping provides privacy in the pool area. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and relaxing

This very beautiful place was very relaxing for me, my two daughters, and my husband. We had a wonderful time here and wished you could have had more time there. This house was close enough to Tampa that we drove there several days. This place really makes you feel at home. My daughters enjoyed having their own rooms and the pool. The pool was very clean and the landscaping was well taken care of. Me and my husband loved having the master bedroom separate from the kids. This gave us a little more private times then we would have had in a hotel. We can't wait to come back and stay at this house. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us! Looking forward to the next time we come!

Perfect home from home

We were very pleased on arrival,as we have stayed at other villas in Spring Hill, but this is far superior . We felt that we were in a property that was cared for and as stated home from home, well equipped with everything you could possibly need whilst you are staying .

Clean and comfortable

This property was a very pleasant surprise. I book a golf getaway at this time every year and I have found that Spring Hill is a really central home base. There is everything anyone could ever want close at hand. The property was immaculate which is on the top of my list, they provided anything that one would need to feel at home. From the inside of the house to the pool to the yard all was clean and neat. I have been disappointed in rentals before , not this time it was a highly polished diamond!

Amazing villa

The best rental property ever!!!

This is the best property that we have ever had the pleasure of renting, it was exceptionally clean and had every item that you could require in the kitchen, bathroom, lounge, pool and it even had a basketball hoop. The pool is perfect, in fact the only problem with this rental house is that you will not want to leave it to venture out. Liz and Ed are perfect hosts, and we would love to visit again. If you do manage to venture out, we loved Pine Island, and we saw lots of wildlife just swimming by, a Giant Sea Turtle and pods of dolphins were the highlight. We also swam with Manatee at Crystal River and that was great (but an early start). Perfect holiday in an American Dream - Thanks Liz and Ed.

A beautiful, well equipped, well maintained home.

This house was fantastic! It is nicely decorated throughout and extremely comfortable. It has all the necessities: washer/dryer, wireless internet, cable TV – including extras: board games, books, DVDs, maps, area info. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need – and more. The bedrooms had plenty of closet space, drawer space and the beds were very comfortable. You couldn’t ask for a better home away from home. The location is convenient for shopping, dining and sightseeing. The local library – with internet and printing capabilities – is about a mile away. The landscaping is gorgeous. The lanai and pool have plenty of seating and a table and chairs for six, with a full bathroom. The heated pool is a perfect size. We took advantage of the pool every day. We hated to leave – we hope to be back!
