Charming 3-bedroom house with AC in superb Milford

Your biggest decision when staying at the Hickory House will be to stay at home or go explore all that Milford has to offer - just minutes from your doorstep! Indoors, enjoy luxury mattresses and furnishings, expansive coffee/tea bar, limitless draft root beer, games & puzzles! Read a book as the kids enjoy hours on the stair slide! Outdoors, you'll relax in a beautiful, private yard which offers a fire pit, grill & hot tub, as well as many yard games, including an authentic bocce court!

This historical home boasts three bedrooms in total - Bedroom 1 (Queen) in located on the main level. Bedroom 2 (Queen) and Bedroom 3 (Full) are located on the 2nd level. In addition to luxury mattresses, we also offer premium bedding to our guests.

There is also a twin sized pull-out bed (LoveJoy brand) in the secondary living area, as well as a twin sized rollaway on the main level.

A fully equipped kitchen with flatware and cookware is available for guest use. Luxury coffee and tea bar is located on the kitchen counter. Other drinking glasses, mixology kit and ice bucket are located on the wet bar off the dining room. There is also complimentary root beer available on tap!

The backyard offers several private areas to enjoy. There is a fire pit with chairs in the back of the property, along side a raised bocci court providing hours of fun! Other outdoor games can be found in the plastic storage bin next to the garage. A table, chairs and gas grill are located on the deck.

Kensington Metropark, Camp Dearborn and Proud Lake Recreation Area are all less than 5 miles from The Hickory House! Alpine Valley, Mt. Brighton Ski Resort and Pine Knob Ski and Snowboarding are all within a 15 drive for our snow enthusiasts. For small town dining and fun, you are only two blocks from beautiful downtown Milford with an ample variety of restaurants and shops to fulfill your every need. If you are looking for a bigger city experience, Ann Arbor and Detroit with all of their culinary and cultural treasures are both within a 40 minute drive of your doorstep!

There is an Xbox with two wireless controllers located in the front room on top of the fireplace.

Washer and dryer are available for guest use and located in the basement. Laundry soap and fabric softener are complimentary.
