This delightful Oro Valley vacation rental was put together with serenity and comfort in mind. The second-floor condo includes breathtaking views of the Catalina's, comfortable furnishings, and attention to detail, as well as a shared pool and hot tub!

You'll be pleased with the cultural, athletic, and educational offerings in the area. Excellent shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. Of course, there is always the option to do nothing but relax, in fact, it's recommended.

Home with a Mountain View

Lovely home with Mountain View’s. Cozy little 2 bedroom place located near shopping, dining and easy access to local attractions. Nice pool and hot tub perfect for cocktails and unwinding after a day of touring old Tucson. Perfect!

256 was clean, the artwork and furnishings were chosen to perfection. The space was clean, had all the amenities of home and felt incredibly safe. The neighbors were a delight. We were there for a friend who was going through a serious health crisis. We needed a place to stay so it worked well except for being on the second floor so we had to climb stairs.

Thought it was just a few condos from the pictures online. Turns out to be a whole community from f condos. Hard to find the right building. It’s kind of out of the way of any main town. Shower leaked and shower heads were even worse. Seemed like a lot of steps to get checked in. Multiple emails and forms for the HOA. I probably won’t stay here again.

Gorgeous sunrises, nice updates to condo!

Beautiful sunrises from the balcony (and pretty pink mountains in the afternoon). Owner made some nice kitchen and bath updates--not shown in photos posted at this time which show some prior decor and the older white faucets. Ceiling fan and overhead light on balcony meant that we could read and visit over a glass of wine later at night than we might've otherwise. Super-easy check-in with the keypad, quick connection to WIFI (now 5G), and some great restaurant and exploring tips in the binder provided by the owner for guest use--Blanco, El Charro (famous place where John Wayne hung out with the owner and drank booze from teacups during Prohibition), Hacienda del Sol, Biodome, Desert Museum, Sabino Canyon hike, etc. Overall, a very comfortable, great escape to the Southwest!

Vacasa one star, condo five star

The condo was fine but the exception that the information about the area was not up to date. Also the unused lock box hanging on the security door made entry in the dark difficult since it gave the illusion that it was being used, even though a combination was 10 digits and the lockbox only had four. Finally after trying the security door and finding it open and the real combination lock inside in the dark, well, it was frustrating. Then, information about the pool access was wrong so we had to go to the condo management who gave us the combination to the pool. Worse, regarding the Vacasa, neither I or my guest receive any kind of information on the day of check-in. So, at about 6:00 p.m., I called the Vacasa office and was told that they needed more information about ME! I had completed all of the forms online and had to confirmed reservation, but was told that I had to give them more information about me like my date of birth and confirm some of the other information they already had. Then the clerk said she would email me the information that I should have gotten earlier but the email never arrived so she gave me the door combination. Consequently, that is all the information that I received prior to arrival. Hopefully, someone dropped the ball and this is not routine. I have used Vacasa several times before without issue so hopefully this will be addressed.

Beautiful view of the Santa Catalinas!!

We've stayed at #256 before and love this condo - great Southwest decor, sparkling clean, and very comfortable for relaxing or fun. Cooking in was really easy with all the kitchenware, and we used the outdoor grill by the clubhouse pool to grill. We also appreciated this: the host provides a binder for guests' use during their visit that includes maps, tips, info on sightseeing, restaurants, how to find a number of stores, and much more. Hoping to get back next year!

Retirement gift

I rented this casita for my daughter and son-in-law as a retirement gift. We live in Oro Valley and invited them to an all expenses paid vacation so they could visit us and get out of Utah for a week. They professed to having a fine visit to Vistoso Casitas and enjoyed the well appointed environment. We have stayed here in the past before moving to Oro Valley and have always been delighted with the convenience and reasonable cost.

This condo worked well for our 2 month stay in Tucson. It's location for activities was perfect and Christa, the manager was awesome. Very helpful and friendly. Although the condo is a little outdated we still felt at home there. We would recommend to anyone.

Quiet place

I love this area and have had the pleasure of staying in other units in this same complex. This unit specifically is in need of a refresh all around. Kitchen needs updating & so do bathrooms. I guess I’m spoiled by other updated units!

Underwhelmed

We stayed in 2 vacasa homes back to back and this unit was disappointing in comparison. The kitchen did not meet my standards of cleanliness and lacked some key items. The condo itself required some maintenance as the en-suite had some serious water damage. We could not get hot water in the main bathroom. We ran into issues with the wifi and vacasa was quick to get us back online which was much appreciated.

Home away from home

We loved the comfortable feeling of this condo! It is well supplied with everything you need to make it your own, eat in, cook and bake, or eat out at the marvelous local restaurants. The pool was warm and hot tub refreshing even though many of the days were in the 60’s! Still 40-50° warmer than home! We enjoyed visiting with other renters and owners. We will gladly go back again! Thanks!
