Gehen Sie aus der Tür und entspannen Sie am Sandstrand mit klarem Wasser oder schwimmen, Schlauch, Kanu, Kajak, Wasserski, Boot, skate, Schnorcheln oder Segeln. Great spot

Perfect Retreat by the lake!

Lovely property, nice hot tub, very clean. Plenty of privacy to get away from it all. Owner was very easy to reach for check in and very informative. We would surely stay here again and hope to do so again this summer!

Wonderful Location

This home on Big Sandy pond had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. The owner was very responsive and great to work with. The home’s location on the pond is beautiful and the hot tub was an excellent amenity. It’s a short drive to enjoy historic Plymouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here .

Beautiful pond

The location is so perfect. Looking out the window feels like you are on a ship. The home is very comfortable and has everything you need. Having the hot tub is an extra treat.

Lovely house on the pond

Kayaking, canoeing, followed by a dip in the hot tub. Who could ask for anything more. Quiet evenings on the patio, easily accessible to bike paths in the area. Would recommend!

Very comfy cottage on the "pond", actually more like a large lake. Beautiful views, well equipped and awesome jacuzzi. Scott is very helpful and friendly. Perfect get away, but close to Plymouth town and Cape Cod. Highly recommend!

Lake house

What an amazing property! We were in town for a wedding. We came early wanting to relax. Wonderful location right on the lake. Great views and really enjoyed the hot tub. Owner was very helpful. Hope to come again with the kids when it’s a little warmer to enjoy the lake.

Relaxing getaway for the family

When you are looking for a place that’s private, tranquil, clean and spacious think of Scott’s beautiful home on Sandy Pond. Everyone has their own spot to relax. Wonderful lakefront property

Everything about this house was as advertised. The location right on the lake is great and the house is private, despite nieghbors on both sides. The amenities include a hot tub, kayaks, canoe, grill, firepit- everything you need for a nice warm-weather visit. Thank you, Scott!

Like a private oasis!

We had a great week on the lake! The house is clean and has everything you need. The high-end appliances and grill are a bonus. We loved going out on the kayaks, relaxing in the hot tub, and exploring the Cape. Scott was very responsive and helpful!

Spotless, quaint lake house

Lovely lake house. Very relaxing. Spotlessly maintained. Sandy beach for swimming. Lake view lounge chairs great for reading. Hot tub is clean and warm. Breezy side of lake, so fine without AC. Great location before bridges avoids cape cod traffic.

A Piece of New England Heaven

If you have never been to New England this is a nice slice of heaven on Earth to base a visit to Plymouth and Cape Cod from. The residence is a true labor of love that will allow you to enjoy peaceful nights and eventful days, or pure relaxation. Our stay and the amenities allowed us to enjoy a break from a hurried life from peaceful days on the lake, and lobster dinners at night. The property is well maintained and a personal touch is provided by the owner to help make your stay an enjoyable one.

Beautiful lake house retreat

Cleanest property I've ever been to. The hot tub was spotless. Scott was super friendly and easy going. I cant wait to go back. I'm actually looking forward to my next get away there. The general store about a mile away had everything we needed or forgot. It was a perfect half way point for us to check out p-town and get away from home. Thank you again, Scott!

Peaceful by the pond

We had a lovely long weekend at this property. The house was clean and included all of the necessities we needed. The view was gorgeous and the property was private and peaceful. It was too cold to enjoy kayaking or swimming, however we enjoyed the hot tub and my kids loved simply throwing stones into the lake. We would definitely return. Thank you Scott!

Peaceful

The property is very peaceful. When it was too windy to swim we sat in the hot tub which was very clean and a perfect temperature. The pond is clean and my kids enjoyed swimming in it. There is a beach one house down which my kids enjoyed. The three season porch at the house is great! The neighborhood and lake is pretty quiet which was nice. We slept with the windows open which was nice to hear the water overnight.

Completely Peaceful

Scott met us and gave us a great tour of his beautiful home. For 3 nights we enjoyed the peace and quite overlooking the pond while enjoying the hot tub or comfortable lounge chairs. We even saw the coolest moon-set where the moon was bright orange and it slowly sank into the horizon. Each morning we enjoyed a brisk 2 mile walk around the lake to start our day. We loved spending a full day in Plymouth tons of places to see and great selection of restaurants too. Fabulous home don't hesitate to visit!

Beautiful setting on pristine, fresh-water pond - clean, cute cottage with kayaks and canoe for use

We spent a week here - 2 adults and 1 child plus another child sleeping over a few nights - we swam in the pond every day, kids didn't want to leave. Lots to do with boats available along with life jackets and paddles. And there were lots of chaise lounges and chairs to sit on outside. The cottage was very clean, and Scott met us there when we arrived and showed us around, instructing us on how to use the hot tub, as well as other features of the place. We hope we can come back next year!

Fabulous family vacation home

This was our second stay in this home because we loved it the first time. Our 12 and 9 year old boys got up every morning and headed straight for the lake and played like kids are supposed to. They loved kayaking too. This place has given us some of the best family memories and the boys already want to go back! Scott is wonderful and takes the time to go over everything. Although, as soon as you walk through the door and see the lake, it's hard to pay attention! It's just the perfect family vacation home.

Quiet Spot with a beautiful view!

My husband and I had a lovely long weekend at the house. Scott took the time to walk us through everything at check-in and everything was extremely clean. Lots of wind that weekend so didn’t get to spend as much time outside as we would have liked, but loved the beautiful views from inside the house and spent a good amount of time in the hot tub enjoying the view as well. One note, the closest restaurants and stores are a 10-15 minute drive away, so just just be prepared for that if you’re not planning on cooking. Great spot to relax and spend a quiet weekend, would definitely consider visiting again!

Vacation home that has it all

This property is fantastic. The house is comfortable with all amenities provided. The view of the large pond is amazing. There are unlimited activities at this vacation retreat: swimming, kayaking/canoeing, biking, using the hot tub, playing games, cooking marshmallows over the fire pit, and more. Scott, the owner, met us at the house to show us around and how to use everything. It was very helpful. And we have never gotten our security refund so fast. This is a wonderful retreat; we hope to return!

Beautiful and peaceful

The property was exactly as listed. The location is beautiful, right on the lake with a small private beach and right next to larger public beach area. The house had all the amenities you would need. Kayak and Canoe were really nice to have. Canoeing in the early morning when the lake was quiet and still was a great experience. The house was small but clean with a beautiful outdoor patio and hot tub. My only recommendation would be to change the couches in the living are as they are getting old. Scott was very responsive and great to work with.

Not what we hoped for.

This was a disappointing experience. The house was not very clean, minimally furnished with a bachelor pad feel to the character of it. It was not well insulated, so it was quite chilly. We noticed there was a moldy smell to the house and the furniture was old and stained. The hot tub was great, and the location is so pretty. The house needs a major dose of TLC, though.

Is this is a joke? You stayed in October and send in a nasty review in January? Read all the other reviews, always 5 stars, everyone loves the place. My cleaner is a fanatic about cleanliness, there is no mold smell and the furniture is not stained. Thermostat is on the wall in the living room.

I searched 3 years for this property. It has breathtaking views,clean water and clean sand,is fully recreational yet peaceful and a great place to unwind. Once you get there you don't want to leave!
