We’re glad Jean enjoyed the lake, kayaking, and swimming. For clarity, the third bed is located in a loft accessed by a ladder, which is clearly disclosed in both the listing description and photos, so this should not have come as a surprise. Mattress and pillow comfort is, of course, subjective however we consistently revive rave reviews and have over 200 5 star reviews across this and other platforms. Unfortunately, we cannot control rainfall before a guest’s arrival. While the hammocks and life jackets may have been wet from the rain, the Adirondack chairs were perfectly usable. Regarding the construction, the road had recently been repaved and is now smooth as butter. There were also two alternate routes Jean could have used to access the property, but she chose not to do so. Our aim is always to please our guests, we offer to come over and assist Jean with some of her concerns immediately, she’s the type that declines and complains later.

Unfortunately, local roadwork is outside of our control, and schedules can change without notice, we were not made aware that the work would be happening. We also wish you had reached out to us during your stay regarding the air conditioning or propane. We want every guest to be comfortable and are always happy to troubleshoot an issue, send someone to the property, or replace a propane tank when needed. Had we known there was a concern, we would have gladly addressed it right away.
