I created Kat's Get Away to give people a comfortable place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy everything the Kinkaid area has to offer. Whether you're here to fish, boat, hike, explore the Shawnee National Forest, or simply unwind by the fire, I want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive.

As a local owner, I take pride in keeping the cabins clean. comfortable, and well equipped with the little things that help make your stay easy and enjoyable. I believe some of the best memories are made during the simple moments-watching a sunset, sharing stories around a fire pit, or spending a peaceful morning with a cup of coffee on the porch.

Location- 1/2 mile from Kinkaid Lake

Not just a place to sleep- Cabins are fully stocked with kitchen, linens, towels, BBQ grill, & fire pit so guest can settle in without having to bring much.

Recently updated- New Furnishing, new porches and private back decks.

Comfortable for families or couples- Two bedrooms with queen beds and a cot, sleeping for five make it ideal for family trips or a romantic getaway.

Peace and quiet- Guest get the relaxing cabin feel without being far from outdoor recreation or town.
