Comfortable, nicely stocked with amenities, clean and quiet. The setting for the cabin was pleasant and peaceful. We tryto leave properties as clean as we find them but I appreciated there wasn’t a long list of rules for use and departure. I’d look to rent again when we visit southern Illinois.

The cabin was perfect for what we needed! It was clean, well-furnished, and comfortable. The coffee station and snack basket were a much-appreciated touch. It was a great, cozy place to come back to after long days of hiking, and it was nice to have found a pet-friendly place to stay! The host was very friendly, accommodating, and thorough with directions and information. Overall a great stay!

Cabin # 5 is awesome. We stayed 3 nights ..cooked steaks and burgers on the grill and had a couple of camp fires in the back. The place is clean and had everything we needed. We opened the blinds and let in sunshine all day..the price is right and the owners care about that place. I love it!!!

Great one bedroom cabin that was functional and most importantly clean! Had a great time visiting the hiking trails and wineries. Everything was close which made it a relaxing trip.

The location was good and I like to bow hunt and they have good deer hunting in the area. My wife enjoyed her stay also, we went to a winery just a few miles away and enjoyed that also. We plan on going again next year.

Cabin in the woods close to SIU.

We wanted someplace close to SIU while we visited our daughter, but it was also close to great hiking at Giant City and other little towns with lots to do.

The perfect little getaway

We absolutely loved our stay here. So peacefully quiet, love the little welcome baskets. It was super clean and had everything we needed for the stay. Loved sitting on the deck enjoying the morning coffee or looking at the stars. It's great that the property is close enough to town it's not a hassle to run to the store, but it's remote enough to not be bothered.
