2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Lagoon Villa 35 is a lovely, very clean villa in Wild Dunes — the kind of place returning guests immediately put back on their list. Restaurants and shops are an easy walk away, the area is quiet and beautiful, and the beach is a roughly 10-minute stroll through the resort.

Each bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom and a private balcony, making it a great fit for two couples or a family with kids. Lagoon Villas guests have access to the Lagoon Villas community pool, plus the rest of Wild Dunes — spa, golf, dining, biking and walking paths — right at your doorstep.

Lagoon Villa 35 guests have access to the Lagoon Villas community pool. Please note that the pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only and are not available to vacation rental guests. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.

🏋️ Fitness

The fitness center at Wild Dunes is reserved for resort hotel guests only. We recommend the Isle of Palms Recreation Center as a fantastic alternative — featuring a cardio room, fitness classes, and brand new courts just a quick drive down Palm Blvd.

🎾 Tennis & Pickleball

Pay-to-play at the Wild Dunes Tennis Center. Free courts also at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center.
