Leash up your pooches (up to two dogs are allowed per stay) and walk to the beach in moments to soak in the sun or stroll to some of Oak Island’s most popular restaurants to enjoy Southern cuisine and fresh seafood instead.

Enter into the sleek, open concept main living space and settle on the oversized sectional to watch a favorite movie on the big screen TV. The wooden dining table seats four, with an additional four seats available at the kitchen island. Settle with your morning coffee (both a standard drip machine and a Keurig style brewer are provided) and plan your adventures at the gleaming white counters surrounded by eye-catching fish scale tiles or whip up your favorite family recipes in this fully equipped space.

Just off the kitchen you’ll find a sunroom, furnished with comfy seating and an additional full-size refrigerator to store drinks and extra groceries. The laundry closet is located here as well, providing a washer and dryer for your use so there’s no need to lug wet and sandy beach towels home at the end of your trip!

The spa-like master suite features a king bed, coastal decor and a brick fireplace to relax by. The attached private bath provides a large step in shower stall. Each of the remaining three bedrooms offers a wall-mounted TV for personal entertainment and shares access to a hall bath with a standard tub/shower combo. Two bedrooms are each furnished with a queen bed, while the last bedroom has two double beds.

Outside, you’ll find an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water ideal for rinsing sand off dogs or kids alike. Gather around the firepit to toast marshmallows and tell stories or cook up the catch of the day on the provided charcoal grill. There is covered parking available under the carport, and plenty of room for more vehicles in the long driveway.

When you’re ready to hit the beach, an easy walk of less than 1500 feet along a quiet, tree lined street brings you to Oak Island’s famous sands. Wade through the surf to look for shells, drop your line in the water from the Oak Island Fishing Pier or grab a bite (or a cocktail!) at oceanfront eateries Koko Cabana or The Lazy Turtle.
