Von Star Fish House genießen Sie einen spannenden Blick auf das Meer, an die KĂŒste von Amalfi und an den Golf von Salerno weit am Horizont. Star Fish House ist 75 Quadratmeter (810 Quadratmeter).
Es verfĂŒgt ĂŒber zwei wunderschöne private Terrassen mit Blick auf das Meer und die KĂŒste, Klimaanlage (bitte lesen Sie die Beschreibung unten, um zu ĂŒberprĂŒfen, in welchen RĂ€umen die Einheiten installiert sind), Winterheizung und WI-FI Internetanschluss.

Sie sind ungefÀhr 2 km vom Zentrum von Amalfi entfernt, wo Sie Restaurants, GeschÀfte, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, den Strand und den touristischen Hafen finden.
Sie finden die Haltestelle fĂŒr den SITA Bus Amalfi - Salerno Linie bei 20 Metern (65 Fuß) und den nĂ€chsten Strand (Castiglione di Ravello Strand) bei 1. 3 km (ca. 0. 8 Meile) einschließlich 200 Treppenstufen (andere StrĂ€nde mit Weniger Stufen zum Aufstieg gibt es auch in der Umgebung).
Sie erreichen das Star Fish House von der Straße auf einen privaten Gehweg, der durch einen Garten schneidet und ca. 50 Treppenstufen umfasst.

We cannot recommend Star Fish House highly enough. It is a quaint, beautiful house with amazing views. Waking up every morning to the sunrise over the Mediterranean will change you for the better. An easy walk to Minori, markets, bus stops and ferries makes Star Fish House an ideal way to experience and enjoy the Amalfi Coast. And the host, Peter, is incredible. He helped us with many arrangements and went out of his way to make sure our stay was wonderful. We will be back.

A great way to see the area

Lovely apartment with incredibly helpful host. Walking distance to so many places we wanted to visit. Quiet at night. Clean and comfortable- felt at home away from home. Got to enjoy some local treasures (restaurants, private beach) thanks to our host Peter. Incredible views from almost every window. A truly lovely visit to the area.

Authentic Italian villa

Star fish house is everything you would think of when thinking of an Italian villa. Wonderful location with great views of mediterranean and villages below. We rented scoters and were able to visit all of the Amalfi coast easily. Peter, the host checked in with us almost every day to make sure everything was to our expectation and help us with whatever we needed.

Beautiful view!

We had a great stay at Peter’s villa! He went out of his way to welcome us and to arrange restaurant reservations and taxis, which were prompt and reliable. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was the best! The view from the porch is unbelievable, and swimming is just up the road by walking less than 10 minutes. Peter was very welcoming and his recommendations were excellent! Having a washing machine was a plus for us as well. Grazie!!!

Great Trip to Amalfi Coast

Our two couple group spent 3 nights of our 2 week Italian vacation at Starfish House. Once you get over the initial shock of the narrow coastal road and that there are stairs everywhere, you can appreciate the beauty of the area and the great location of the property. Peter was a great host. He scheduled our transportation to and from the train station, gave great recommendations, got us a dinner reservation on our first night and even took us for coffee and pastries on the way back to the train station. We had planned on bringing a car, at Peter’s urging, we did not and are glad we listened to him. Peter knows everyone and everyone knows him! It was a great stay, book it, you won’t be disappointed.

A gem in the Amalfi region

The host Peter is from the area, and literally knows everyone. He has recommendations galore and can get you in to any restaurant. The views are brilliant! Couple things to note: there is one bedroom with a en suite bathroom & AC. The other one shares AC & bathroom with the living room. We were concerned upon arrival, but the bedrooms were both cool & enjoyable, so no complaints at all. Get coffee (and dinner!) at Aldo (5 min walk).

Minori and Ravello are not to be missed. Stunning!

The view from the front windows and patio are absolutely stunning from this property. There were four adults staying here and we were well equipped with bedrooms and bathrooms. The stairs to the property were certainly doable with luggage as you can imagine this entire region is full of them and anything under 100 steps is a win. In Minori, which is a short walk 15 minutes down the road there are good places for meals and desserts. You can also walk to Amalfi from here otherwise you will need to hire a taxi to take you around especially if you want to see Ravello or the surrounding areas. Peter is more than willing to set anything up. Kitchen is set up for smaller group. The area is absolutely stunning and not to be missed.

The View

The views from the villa & veranda are amazing! The overall space is nice. One bedroom does not have a/c in room, so must leave door open to access from living room. Linens, towels and pillows were worn- should be replaced. Hand soap, shampoo, body wash, water bottles were not provided. Walk into Minori is doable, but you're along an active, two lane, cliff side road. Otherwise you're taking the bus or taxi to the other towns, like Amalfi. To get to water taxis you must also get to Minori or Amalfi.

Beautiful Views

So glad we hired a driver to get us from Sorrento to this beautiful house. The roads are challenging to say the least. Peter greated us on arrival and showed us around the home. We enjoyed staying here for 4 nights and the views from the terrace are stunning like the pictures. Peter was easy to communicate with also. A few small suggestions that could have taken this from 4 to 5 stars include: soap and shampoo for the showers, coffee supplied, a guest book with wifi and trash instructions upon checkout and maybe a list of events happening close by that we could attend or learn about. We bought coffee and shampoo and water and wine for our stay (which was fine) but later stayed in Sicily at an equally impressive home that supplied these little "nice touches" upon arrival. Would we stay here again, absolutely. Ravello and Amalfi were gorgeous.

Best place to stay

Wow! Amazing location, amazing view, amazing host. Peter is an excellent host. He truly goes above and beyond to care for his guests. He made our experience in Amalfi a memorable one. He made us feel like old time friends. Trust all of his recommendations, don’t think twice just do as Peter says. Peter is a local and knows his stuff. He will make your experience in Amalfi 10x better than what you expected. The property is spacious and in a great location between maori and Amalfi. You can walk to both easily. You walk alongside the two lane road overlooking the coast just like the locals do. So bring your walking shoes or rent scooters to get around. You can also take the local bus. We would definitely stay here again. thank you Peter and can’t wait to see you again!

Amazing View

Overall our experience at the Starfish House was wonderful. A few misleading amenities on the site however. The entire space is not air conditioned. One bedroom off the living room needed the door to be open to feel the a/c so no privacy. With reference to washer/dryer
.you can wash but the dryer doesn’t work so be prepared to hang your wash on the line. We had a few ruffles with the parking of our car rental and retrieving it when needed so we don’t recommend bringing a vehicle. Otherwise a lovely house with a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding mountains and beaches.

Lovely view and charming patio

This house has a wonderful view and a charming patio. Peter was very helpful. We loved the location but it is a 20 minute walk or a 20 euro taxi ride to the closest town. There was also quite a bit of road noise because it is directly above the main road on a very sharp curve so the buses and cars often honk for safety. Also, we were very disappointed in the parking situation. In our rental agreement it was written that parking would be €20 a day and the car would be 50 meters from the house. This was not the case at all. Peter charged us €45 a day and the car was nowhere near the house. We had to call 45 minutes in advance to get the car. When we were leaving, they brought the car and left it on the side of the road below the house with the keys in it. Peter did agree to refund us the difference between what we have agreed to pay for parking and what we had paid (75 euros total) but he has not done so after repeated requests. This is a lovely property and we enjoyed our visit, but future renters should be aware of these issues.

A stay that could have been better

Our overall stay at the Star Fish house was ok. Communication with Peter was very easy and he was very responsive since the moment our booking was confirmed. Check in went smoothly, Peter greeted us in person and we were grateful that he helped us with our luggage and then at the end of our stay arranged transportation to bring us to our next destination. The house is comfortable although it could have been a bit cleaner and it definitely needs some updates. The view from the terrace is very beautiful, I just wish that the outdoor furniture was newer and cleaner. There were a couple of surprises. There was no internet because of the bad weather and it wasn’t fixed until our last day there. If we knew about it ahead of time, we would have been prepared. There is also a cat that lives on the terrace. It’s very cute and quiet, but uses any chance it gets to sneak into the house. Thankfully, nobody in our group is allergic, but I feel that this is something that should have been mentioned in the description. The biggest surprise and disappointment came when Peter claimed that we lost one of the house keys and misplaced the TV remote control and charged us for them. This has definitely put a damper on our experience. I’m very sorry to say that there won’t be a repeat visit.

A home away from home!

What a nice stay we had. Beautiful villa with all the amenities of home. Even thought we were visiting many places, we decided to have dinner their on our last night there. The views were astounding. And Carmen who was the property manager helped us tremendously which did not go unnoticed! Our go to place now when we’re back to the Amalfi coast! Everything was perfect!

Durante muchas semanas buscamos una casa para nuestras vacaciones, querĂ­amos un lugar en la Costa Amalfitana, pero que tuviera un aire local. Y llegamos a Star Fish House. Lo primero que nos impresionĂł fue la amabilidad de Peter para responder todas nuestras inquietudes. Hasta le pedimos grabar un video con el nĂșmero de escaleras que debĂ­amos subir a diario.... AcĂĄ la lista de lo que mĂĄs nos gustĂł: 1. Las dos terrazas, no hay una vista mejor. Y el jardĂ­n es precioso. No hay piscina pero tiene un solarium con ducha. 2. La comodidad de la casa. Las piezas son espaciosas, las camas grandes, la cocina tiene de todo, el refrigerador hace sonar un pito si es que queda abierto, un baño tiene bidet, la ducha perfecta, aire acondicionado las 24 horas, conexiĂłn de wifi, plancha, lavadora de ropa y de platos de primer nivel. 3. Peter es el mejor chef de la zona. Cocina para sus invitados pasta y pescados. 4. Manu es una reina. Le mandas un whatsapp para pedirle cualquier cosa y no has tecleado el punto final y ya te contesta con la soluciĂłn. 5. La mejor manicure estĂĄ en Amalfi. (Dato de Manu) 6. Si quieres masajes, viene Federica. 7. Caminar a Minori todas las mañana es un gran panorama, solo 1,8 kms y casi todo de bajada. AllĂ­ compras el pan, la mozzarella y el prosciutto en una panaderĂ­a familiar donde todos te sonrĂ­en. 8. Si quieres comprar licores, bolsas de naranja y todo aquello que te cansa acarrear, lo pides al supermercado y te lo vienen a dejar a la casa. Nuestras sugerencias: 1. No temerle a las escaleras. A los dos dĂ­as no te das cuenta. 2. Comprar muchos tickets de bus y moverte en ellos, con paciencia, no siempre pasan a la hora. 3. Tener un buen repelente para los zancudos que estĂĄn en toda la costa. 4. AdemĂĄs de Amalfi, Positano y Capri, ir a Ravello muchas veces, no mirar en menos Atrani, arrendar un auto (vĂ­a Peter) e ir a Pestum y Castellabate a comer pescados y mariscos. Pasar por alguna de las fĂĄbricas de mozzarella. 5. Arrendar un bote en Minori y recorrer la costa desde el mar. 6. Comprar pasticciotto de limĂłn en Pasticceria Sal de Riso y comer tĂĄrtaro de atĂșn en la Locanda del Pescatore en Minori. 7. Visitar Salerno por la avenida Torrione hasta el puerto. Una belleza. 8. Si vienes en agosto, asistir a algĂșn concierto en Ravello. 9. Sentarte en algĂșn cafĂ© de Amalfi en las tardes y mirar a la gente para adivinar sus vidas y nacionalidades. 10. Agradecer a la vida en cada minuto por tener la posibilidad de gozar este

More help than I ever expected!

What a beautiful location. Centrally located. Right in between Amalfi and Minori. The house is beautiful and had air conditioning. The washer works great and it was very convenient to be able to do laundry. Manuella was wonderful. From giving directions to making reservations, ordering pizza, to securing spaces at the beach! She was always available to answer any questions. She is even mailing a forgotten item! There were two couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. I would highly recommend staying at Starfish house! You won’t regret it! Thank you Manuella for all of your assistance. We had a wonderful time at your beautiful place😊

Beautiful Amalfi Coast Views

House is located on the main highway with unobstructed views of the coastline. It was a bit far to walk into Amalfi even though we did walk it a few times. I would suggest learning the bus schedules and routes before your stay. The house was nice and had most everything we needed. I wish it had a washer and dryer for clothes, but we managed to make it work. The property owners were wonderful to work with and even made arraignments for a driver to pick us up at the train station. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Superbe vue et emplacement trÚs agréable

La vue est tout simplement superbe. Nous avons particuliĂšrement apprĂ©ciĂ© l'accueil de Peter et de son Ă©pouse qui ont toujours Ă©tĂ© Ă  l'Ă©coute. L'appartement est conforme aux photos de l'annonce. Comme toutes les villes de la cĂŽte, ce n'est pas facile d'ĂȘtre en voiture, surtout avec une voiture volumineuse mais Peter nous a proposĂ© une solution de garage un peu plus loin que l'appartement et le propriĂ©taire du garage a toujours Ă©tĂ© particuliĂšrement serviable. Nous avons pu profiter de la mer et Ă©galement vister Naples, Capri, Positano, le sentier des Dieux. Nous recommandons ! Robert
