Boat House is a compact house in the Laguna Marina area, offering pleasant garden views and 50 m² of living space. Thanks to its central location, Van den Tweel is at 2.6 kilometer, Te Amo Beach and Donkey Beach at 750 meter, Sebastian’s Restaurant at 1.9 kilometer, and Dive Friends Port Bonaire at 550 meter. Guests have access to a communal pool—perfect for a refreshing dip after a day out exploring.

The layout

The house features one bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed and a well-kept bathroom. The living room connects to an open-plan kitchen, making it a sociable space. A day in the Washington Slagbaai National Park is a must. This rugged reserve offers two driving loops: a longer coastal route past Playa Chikitu, Boka Kokolishi, and Wayaka, and a shorter inland route toward the Brandaris (the highest point, about 241 m). Roads are unpaved and bumpy, so a pickup or SUV is recommended. Bring plenty of water, snacks, and snorkel gear—here you can combine viewpoints, wildlife, and a refreshing swim in one trip.

As a guest of Boat House, you’ll have access to the entire home: one bedroom, one bathroom, the living room with open-plan kitchen, and the outdoor area. You can also use the communal pool. There is on-site parking and a private entrance. To warmly welcome you and explain the accommodation and our beautiful island, we personally handle all arrivals! The Sunwise hosts of the property will coordinate with you about your arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Laguna Marina is the man-made lagoon between Kralendijk and the airport—a waterside area perfect for relaxed living and easy island exploring. The sheltered waters suit kayaking and paddleboarding, while beaches, dive sites, and restaurants are all within convenient driving distance. It feels tranquil yet close to Kralendijk’s amenities, offering a well-balanced base for your Bonaire stay.



Getting Around:

Boat House in Laguna Marina is best enjoyed with a rental car, as Bonaire offers much more beyond the immediate surroundings. With your own car, you can reach every corner at your own pace, from secluded snorkel spots to local eateries. We recommend renting a car. Most roads are paved, but for nature areas like Washington Slagbaai National Park, a pickup or SUV is advisable. Park roads are unpaved and sometimes rough. There’s no public transport and taxis are limited, especially on cruise ship days.
