The floors were gross wiped up water and the paper towel was black. The stove top had a burner not working. The door knob in the bottom bedroom would fall off. The place is supposed to accommodate 16 people but only have parking for 3 vehicles with 0 resolutions on where to park other vehicles.

The check-in information noted that one burner ignitor was already not working, and we regret that this affected your experience. Although we confirmed that the property accommodates three vehicles, we’re sorry we couldn’t provide helpful guidance for additional parking nearby. Overall the place was great. Close to the beach. Plenty of room for everyone. Make sure you check that the hot tub isn’t in “sleep mode” before you arrive. Also, the fire pit is located outside the fence, grass grown over it by the railroad tracks. Would’ve been nice to know that beforehand. We were looking forward to having a fire in the back yard. Not next to the railroads tracks.

The house was in a perfect location and was great for our whole family, with a lot of things for the kids to play with! There were some things that needed fixing, and I would suggest having done. There are no screens on the windows. Many of the faucets drip and the shower faucets are broken. The bottom rack of the dishwasher doesn’t work right. The cranks on several windows were broken. The garage door was broken. The hot tub was set to be very cold initially but we were able to get that working. We were concerned about parking for only 3 cars, but extra parking was less than a block away so that was ok. Overall we loved our time there, and thank you for all your help while we were there!

Easy access to beach from property and easy walk to Rockaway shops and restaurants. Lots of rooms for multiple families. Kids loved the hot tub and game room in the garage.

Wonderful Beach Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay. The property is SUPER family friendly -- there was a pack n'play, stools to reach the sink, a booster seat, a play room etc. The location is wonderful -- beach is right across the street and can walk to the small grocery store and a park. I will for sure stay here again!

A great property for large gathering

Nice short walk to the beach, hot tub very enjoyable for all ages. Some things are in need of replacing such as dish towels and potholders, would also bring extra toilet paper and paper towels for large group. Overall, great property and had a wonderful time!

Wonderful time with family

This charming home was perfect for us, our six grown children, and 3 small grandchildren. So close to the beach and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and large. The games in the garage were a real hit! We would definitely stay here again.

Our family group of 13 had an excellent time. The house was so close to the beach and the out door shower made keeping the sand outside so easy! We will definitely be returning to this house.

Friend time at the beach

Great proximity to beach access. Lots of beds and plenty of towels. Games for the teens in the garage. Well stocked kitchen for cooking for many people. Comfy living space and big dinning room table for sharing meals. Handful for small issues like the toilet paper roll dispenser, a couple window cranks, a door knob need fixing. All said and done, it was a great place for our gathering. Thanks for having us!

Nice quaint, cottage, feel. Close to the beach. Remote on TV needs to be replaced. Front door code box is very loose, we could not get the lock to work. Had to use the lockbox and use the key to lock the door when we left. Overall experience was very nice.

Puffin house

Overall great experience. We did stay in the house before and loved it which is why we chose it again. Down falls were that there was construction next door and the area for the fire pit in front of the house was completely overgrown to include to shrubs to get through the gate Otherwise absolutely love the house and location.

Comfortable place, but upper bathroom that serves 8 or more people needs many more towel racks and hooks. We wouldn't have used as many spa towels if they could have dried. Only wastepaper basket upstairs is next to toilet. All bedrooms need them.Both showers need grab bars for safety.bedrooms need more hooks, shelves, racks.

Beach Friendly

Easily fit our family of 12. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils. Lots of towels for showers and beach fun. The grill and hot tub were well kept and easily to use. The best part was the short walk to a more remote part of the beach with the children (No Ocean View). Bring your own laundry detergent. And there is a three car limit that we weren't aware of until the last minute. The sand is easy to sweep up. We wished there had been a mop to mop the floors. It is the perfect home for a family get away.
