Find blissful seclusion and comfort at this four-bedroom Cloverdale home, a multi-acre riverfront property with a dog-friendly living space, several natural swimming holes and a waterfall, a private hot tub, and a wondrous location just a short drive from ocean beaches.



Scenically situated on a bend in the Little Nestucca River, this luxurious country home occupies several wooded acres seven miles east of Highway 101. Fish for salmon and steelhead in the river, hike to the nearby waterfall, take a dip in one of the pristine swimming holes, or drive 11 miles west to go surfing in Pacific City and wander the adjacent Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area.



An ideal escape for a large family, this three-level home offers space, privacy, and wonderful access to the Northern Oregon Coast. Warm your toes by the floor-to-ceiling fireplace; pile on the family room sofas to enjoy the free WiFi, air hockey table, and DVD/VHS library; and prepare meals as a family in the chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a gas range and a dishwasher).



Thanks to this home's position outside the summer fog belt, you can soak in the sunshine on multiple decks as you gaze at the river and passing deer. Dogs are welcome to come along, though please note our nightly pet fee. Let your dog play in the expansive yard, soak your sore limbs in the private hot tub, and join your loved ones for an evening bonfire on the river's rocky beach. Back inside, you can curl up by the gas fireplace in the master bedroom with a board game, a deck of cards, or a book from the library.

This house is so wonderful! Perfect for family gatherings as all of the bedrooms are charming although the master is really special! The best part is the large outdoor property and its seclusion.

Amazing house and location if you truly want to get away to relax, play and enjoy those you love. No noise, no distractions yet a quick drive to the beach and restaurants. House is cozy, comfortable with an open floor design and a kitchen that is easy to prepare meals. The hot tub is always clean. Great for dogs that love being free to wander around the yard with no worries of traffic or leashes.

The house is absolutely gorgeous! The scenery and the nature outdoors is phenomenal. The house itself is very cozy and comfortable for my family. My grandkids thoroughly enjoyed. It spent a lot of time outdoors, taking in all the nature and love the fact that it is so close to the ocean you get the best of both.

Idyllic location.

We loved the quiet and the beautiful surroundings. The home has a lot of steps and stairs but they are all manageable. The home is well built and provides plenty of room for a large family or gathering. This was my favorite place out of several past Vacasa vacations.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The house is perfectly situated on the site with amazing views of the river and the surrounding forest from every room. The layout of the house made it perfect for our group which included teenage boys and teenage girls as everyone had their space. The boys really enjoyed the game room. The girls enjoyed looking for crawdads, floating around in the river and using the hot tub. There’s enough lawn space for the boys to rough house, which they enjoyed. This is an excellent property to get away from everything and recharge. The master suite was incredible. It’s a great size. You can just go relax and let the kids enjoy themselves. I really enjoyed the wet room with the beautiful view of the river.The only suggestion I would add. Is to include at least another large screen TV and one of the bedrooms for large groups that want to do separate movie nights that would be really helpful. Additional serving utensils and nonstick pots would be an excellent addition as well. Thank you so much for making your home available. It is definitely a retreat.

Never dissapointed!

We love spending time in your beautiful home. Always plenty to do yet relaxing and cozy. The beach is so close for a quick trip to the store or for a meal out. The updates are nice , I am sorry they haven't been treated as well as they should. The stars you can see at night in the hot tub are amazing! We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you 😊

Loved the privacy!

Wonderful house! Very spacious and plenty of beds. They had the hot tub fixed by the time we got there, so thank you! The river was amazing and great for a cool down float. The yard could've been mowed but over all very beautiful! We all loved it and had a wonderful time.

Very poor communication with management of this property

Nobody responded to the problem of no internet service after three repeated calls and also the Maintence person who tried to remedy the problem and telling me he would report the problem as well as telling me that someone would contact me that afternoon. The three calls were reported and tickets made and also told someone would contact me and nobody ever did. They also told me someone would stop by and see what the problem was but nobody came.

Beautiful property on riverbed!

This property was much better than expected based on the listing. The house has almost 360 degree views of the river! We enjoyed this place very much and would go back again. It was clean, the house architecture was cool and all the decks make for great outdoor space. Bringing your own dry firewood is a necessity if your wanting to use the wood burning fireplace.

Wonderful Seclusion

We loved the house and location. We constantly look for vrbos where you can't see the neighbors and this one fits. Views from every window and deck. The driveway is awesome! One knit pick, the keys provided don't fit the front door where the key box is, as one would expect and nothing tells you otherwise. We had to wander around in the dark until we found a door that the keys would access.

Worth the draw backs

This property is amazing. The home is spacious and comfortable and set amongst the beauty of trees and the river. We ventured to this home on a very dark and rainy night and it was a bit difficult and scary. The secluded road you take to the home makes you feel like you are lost and alone. It was a very intimidating start to our stay. However, it is worth it. When you wake up in the morning and see your surroundings, you will snuggle in and enjoy. I did not read carefully enough when I reserved the house, but there is no cell service there (which made it difficult to communicate with the property manager with questions) and the Wi-Fi is very limited. But we loved this place and hope to be back in 2022.

Lovely home on the river

Our family had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful home. The house itself was unique and inviting and the setting was unmatched! Tucked away in the trees and right on the river it really felt like we had gone to another world. One where we could relax, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy family time. All that peace and quiet only a few minutes from town and the beach made this house exactly what we were looking for and so much more!

Privacy Off The Beaten Path

It’s close proximity to the coast was a huge draw. The home is tucked away in the woods nestled along the winding river that surrounds it. It offers an abundance of privacy and breathtaking views. The home itself has a unique layout with lots of large windows to allow many opportunities to take in nature. There was plenty of space for our group to gather indoors/ outside and cook meals together. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a quiet relaxing getaway but also might want to explore the neighboring towns.

A River Tuns Through It

There’s Only one word to describe this place: magical. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and very secluded, even though it’s just a short distance to the beach. The house itself is really big and spacious, and spread out over five levels, with not too many stairs between each level. It has soaring skylit ceilings, lots of windows all around, every single one with gorgeous views and river audio😉The decks and shingled exterior are rustic and weathered, then you walk into a beautiful modern home full of light, wood floors and wood ceilings. Every bedroom is spacious and comfortable, but the master suite is really over the top! One recent guest said the water there was sulfurous, but we found the drinking water to be great with only a touch of sulfur in the water of the jetted tub and shower upstairs. Also, the house has TONS of storage, everywhere. Comfy beds, wonderful large clean hot tub and a gas grill outside. Trust us, you’ll never want to leave! There were a few minor drawbacks: the”gourmet” kitchen, while very big and beautiful, has quite old and used cookware, few and very dull knives, chipped thrift store non matching dishes, could use more wine glasses and a shot glass...but we are dedicated cooks so we may be expecting more. Most VRBO rentals we have stayed at have better kitchen implements. The river is absolutely awesome and the grounds are so magnificent. We loved all the art choices and the library with its mix of antique and newer books. It truly has been our favorite rental since we’ve been using VRBO to book our trips!
