Welcome! Our cozy 3-bedroom ranch on 1.25 private acres offers an affordable, lived-in home base for traveling workers, long family stays, and extended visits. Please note: This is a basic, budget-friendly country home—not a 5-star hotel. If you are looking for simple, low-cost lodging with the freedom of a full home and yard, this is for you!

Important Property Details & Honest Expectations
To ensure our home is a good fit, please review these specific features before booking:

Well Water & Rustic Fixtures: We are on country well water! The minerals can leave natural discoloration or build-up on sinks, tubs, and toilets. Rest assured: everything is thoroughly sanitized between stays, and all linens/bedding are fully laundered. It isn't a spotless, brand-new finish, but it is 100% clean and sanitary.

Michigan Basement & Laundry: The washer and dryer are in an unfinished Michigan basement. Even with dehumidifiers running, it stays damp down there. It is functional for doing laundry, but it is not finished living space or cleaned to white-glove hotel standards. The room behind the grey curtain is private/off-limits host storage only.

Game Room & Garage: The game room is accessed from outside (unconditioned space—gets warm in summer/cool in winter). Children must be supervised. The heavy grey door leads to the host's private garage storage and is off-limits.

A/C & Climate: Cooled via portable window AC units (installed May–Sept only). It keeps the house comfortable, but it is not central air.

Country Living & Critters: Set against woods on 1.25 acres, local nature (boxelder bugs, stink bugs, spiders, or field mice) occasionally pops up. We treat regularly and clean thoroughly, but country critters are part of the setting! Unfortunately let themselves in from time to time.

Outdoor Space: Enjoy a large private yard with a fire pit, play structures, and plenty of space to unwind.
