Cottage by Lake w FAST WiFi & No Checkout Chores!

This is an affordable Michigan cottage that sleeps up to 4 people. It has super fast WiFi, keyless & contactless check-in, luxury beds, window A/C units, full kitchen, outdoor space, and comes professionally cleaned and sanitized with fresh linens, towels, coffee station with grounds, and basic soaps. It also offers FREE access to laundry room.

We have updated many parts of the cottage (see pictures) and continue to do so, however the cottage will show its character at times. If you are looking for a white-glove experience, this may not be the best option for you. However, if you are looking for a clean , comfortable, & affordable space, very close to beaches, sitting on 1-acre of green land and well-positioned between Saint Joseph & South Haven (in a quiet area of Hagar Shores), with all of the amenities of a home, this is the perfect option for your stay!

A short distance from Lake Michigan, this cottage has 2 bedrooms, one master with LUXURY queen bed (you are going to love this bed) and a second bedroom with a twin trundle style bed; e.g. two twin mattresses (sleeps two, perfect for kids), both with luxury down pillows. Living room with dining area with a full kitchen. Pull out sleeper sofa in the family room. Free access to washer and dryer on site (shared). Also, newly installed blackout blinds in each bedroom to allow for comfortable time to sleep in on those bright summer mornings!

Make yourself at home! This entire cottage is yours to enjoy. The kitchen is equipped with a full size electric oven, full size fridge, microwave, kitchen utensils and a coffee pot. The high-quality beds come with fresh linens, feather down pillows, and an extra comforter.

Enjoy an evening around the fire pit or a bbq on your grill. Sitting on an acre of land; there is plenty of open space to enjoy for outdoor activities (shared with other cottages). There are picnic tables, yard games, fire pits, and hammocks to enjoy your time in between beach, breweries, and wineries! Sit back, relax, and enjoy you stay on lake time!

We would be happy to help in any way during your stay. We are local to the area and understand that this is your vacation, your peaceful time away. We take pride in helping to achieve a memorable trip to our cottage. We are a husband-wife duo, and not a large corporation with strict processes and rigid formalities.

This property reminds us of the cozy cottages that we used to stay in when traveling to this area growing up (and now we get to call this home!). Built decades ago and newly renovated, this cottage offers all of the amenities you need while reserving the relaxed, quaint setting that you yearn for when visiting the lake.

Known for its sandy beaches and dense woods, Hagar Shores is conveniently located right north of Saint Joseph and just south of South Haven. There is a pizza & burger place right across the street that is walkable, called DiMaggio's. There is also a Dollar General about a 300 yards up the road for any last minute needs.

The cottage sits right off of two lane highway M-63. M-63/Blue Star Highway offers the scenic route connecting St. Joseph and South Haven. Along this route you will have convenient access to free public beaches , state parks and bike trails. While our area is generally a quiet location, the convenient Blue Star Highway may have peak times of road noise.

Driving is the most convenient and will allow you to experience neighboring beach towns, wineries, and breweries. All locations in the area have ample parking available onsite. Biking is also possible, however with limited desitnations (1 beach access, Dollar General, DiMaggio's Restaurant)

Access to laundry is provided (bring your own detergent) however daily house keeping is not provided. Each guest will be provided with 1 towel, 1 hand towel and 1 one wash cloth for the duration of their stay. Please provide your own towels for the beach. Hand soap and dish soap is provided along with basic shampoo and shower soap.
No parties or events allowed.

Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
Please respect the noise curfew.
Please turn off the AC when you go out.
Please respect check-in and check-out times.
Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages.
